The night of our check-in 7/17 for my son’s baseball tournament, my family saw multiple baby roaches crawling around the microwave and in the refrigerator. The same night a larger size roach was seen crawling between the beds above my son’s head. My wife was in tears. I went to the receptionist that night a (black women) and she was apologetic and offered to exterminate the room with a large pumping gadget. My wife explained that is not appropriate as it will make more roaches come out to escape the fumes and also, we would not be able to tolerate the fumes as well. The receptionist stated, "there are no rooms and can give a credit for today and move us the next day". She also called the manager as I stood there very upset, and the manager said, "you can check out for a full refund". This was not possible because it was 12am, I had my wife, son and 6yr old grandbaby and every hotel in the area was booked due to several events-brickway race, catholic convention and baseball tournament. Needless to say, we stayed and slept. My family slept on a filthy sofa old and disgusting, pull out mattress felt like nothing but springs, the air smelled old and stale, the carpet dark with spots and old. We slept with every light on until the next morning only to be told by the new morning receptionist (foreigner) on 7/18, "I'm not crediting anything, do you have proof of the bugs and I'm not calling the manager at this time of the morning at 8am". She was unapologetic and eventually texted the manager as I was not taking no for an answer. These are videos but there isn't an option to post videos.
