GGuest UserThe staff was friendly and accommodating. The property is lovely. They have all the amenities you would need. Understand, these amenities are not complimentary here. Everything has a fee but they are available. When we arrived they offered a city pass for the wall and temples. It was 125 yuan per person. I said no because I wanted to just hit a few select sights but later learned that's not how it works there. The whole ancient City runs that way so either buy the pass or you can't walk the wall or enter the historical sights.

JJiebudiaodejimoThe location is great, nestled between Yingxun Gate (South Gate) and Shangxi Gate, making it convenient for sightseeing yet surprisingly quiet. The facilities are good, but what really impressed me was picture #2 [assuming this refers to a specific feature/amenity shown in a picture]. I hope they can plug in the outlets before guests check in. The buckwheat pillow was very comfortable! The service was excellent; they communicated in advance about pickup/drop-off and even offered to drive me to attractions. Breakfast was abundant, featuring local specialties like Pingyao beef. It was well-balanced and tasty. The menu changed over the two days, though for me, there was a bit too much meat. If a full buffet isn't feasible, perhaps offering an à la carte menu where guests can choose their items would help reduce waste. And the cats at the hotel are adorable!

GGuest UserI've traveled to many places, and this stay was truly wonderful, exceeding my expectations. Even before we arrived, the owner's thoughtfulness impressed me. They added me on WeChat to communicate in advance, and when they learned we had an elderly person with mobility issues, they arranged a wheelchair for us, saving us a lot of trouble. I'm so grateful! 🙏 The room hygiene was impeccable; every nook and cranny was spotless. I'll let you in on a secret: the owner is a Virgo, haha! This is a guesthouse with warmth and a personal touch. Go for it, everyone!

JJulien HengThe hotel is located in the quiet area of the north side of the town. It’s a bit further (~900m) from the center of the town which is near the south side. But the hotel also has 2 other locations in town. Hotel is very nicely decorated in traditional chinese decor. It has a nice courtyard in the center. The room is pretty spacious and clean. We had a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

TTanluzheWsI am from Shanxi, and this time I went home to bring my father-in-law, mother-in-law and relatives from other places to visit. The boss is a local and very nice. It is his own inn, and the photos taken are very good, which can fully satisfy everyone's fantasy about Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture. Great 👍. The first photo is inside the inn.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in Pingyao's Old City, very close to the Ancient Government tourist landmark. I found the level of service outstanding. Even though there was a language barrier they were always eager to help. I liked the courtyard and in the room I felt like I was sleeping in one of the museums I visited in Pingyao. Additional perks include free laundry and free transport to the train station. As a drawback, the wifi connection didn't work well for me. To sum up excellent value for money.

PPanPivoI must highly recommend this wonderful hotel in the historic centre of Pingyao. The hotel is really authentic, well equipped, the room was beautiful and I didn't miss anything during my stay. The owner is very nice and helpful, he was able to help me with everything. The front desk is guarded by a small, beautiful dog who gives you a proper greeting. Everything is a short walk from the hotel yet it is in a quiet area where you won't be disturbed. Not choosing this hotel for my stay would be a big mistake. Thank you very much -‐----------------------- Tento nádherný hotel v historickém centru města Pingyao musím vřele doporučit. Hotel je opravdu autentický, dobře vybavený, pokoj byl krásný a během pobytu mi nic nechybělo. Majitel je velmi milý a ochotný, se vším mi dokázal pomoci. Recepci hlídá malý, krásný pejsek, který vás náležitě přivítá. Vše je kousek od hotelu a přitom je v klidné oblasti, kde vás nebude nikdo rušit. The experience started perfectly with a complimentary pickup service at the train station, where the staff was waiting for me with a welcome sign. The hotel owner is incredibly kind and thoughtful, even lending me a portable translator to help with my communication during the trip. The room is very modern and equipped with high-tech facilities. The bed is soft and comfortable, and the air conditioning system works perfectly for both heating and cooling. I was particularly impressed by the in-room water dispenser (both hot and cold water) and the massive projector screen which provided great entertainment. The breakfast was delicious, served in a beautifully presented set. Every detail was taken care of with heart. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hospitable stay!”

MM24513****A 200-year-old historic house with modern and comfortable facilities. The hotel is located right inside Pingyao Ancient City, making it super convenient for dining and sightseeing. The butler service is one-on-one, warm, and thoughtful, even helping to carry luggage from the car park to the hotel. It's a hotel we would definitely return to. Our whole family was very satisfied!

GGuest UserA very unique courtyard B&B inn. The rooms are clean, tidy and antique. The inn is located on the West Street of the Old City. It is right on the pedestrian street. It is very close to the Rishengchang Bank and the county government. The boss is very enthusiastic and the service is very good. I will give you a tip in advance. We sent location navigation and helped us pick up and drop off our luggage from the parking lot 🅿️. They introduced the ancient city travel suggestions in detail and arranged an ancient city guide for us to have an in-depth understanding of Pingyao’s historical and cultural heritage. It was great [strong][strong ] [Strong] When checking out, the boss also gave me a souvenir from the ancient city - aged vinegar, which is very nice and worth recommending [Strong] [Strong] [Strong]
