The whole family with the elderly and children stayed in Qichen, and the experience exceeded expectations! The courtyard is spacious and safe, the children can run freely, the room space is sufficient, the bed is comfortable to sleep, the hygiene is particularly in place, and the elderly are very satisfied. The housekeeper prepared fruit intimately, took the initiative to help carry large luggage, planned the easy parent-child play route in detail, and avoided the crowded crowd. The homestay is quiet and not noisy, the quality of rest is very good, not far from the ancient city attractions, and travel is labor-saving. The whole is warm and homey, the whole family likes it very much, and the first choice for family travel is Qichen Boutique B&B!

Cleanliness: The room was very clean and tidy. Service: The service was absolutely fantastic! The owner picked me up from the high-speed rail station, gave me lots of tips and a travel guide for sightseeing, and even lent me an electric scooter to explore the ancient city. The next day, he even delivered my luggage to the exit of the 'Encore Pingyao' show and gave me a bottle of homemade aged vinegar. So thoughtful! Environment: The guesthouse is located right inside the ancient city, in a historic building. It has a very unique courtyard. It was very quiet at night, offering a peaceful retreat in a lively area.

The inn is a historical building. The two-in-one courtyard is just behind the Majia compound. We are busy taking pictures as soon as we arrive. We live in ”childish”. Although there is no separation of dry and wet, we love it. It is sunny. In the morning, we see the sun and wine. It is very energetic. The boss is a young guy, the people are very good, because the old-fashioned lock is necessary to go out, others can not enter the house, so they trouble the boss to send supplies in the cabin, go back to get it at night. The homestay originally only had one pick-up or delivery service, and then the boss also picked up and sent it. Also help with the management. Great. I wish you a prosperous business!

The hotel environment is clean and comfortable, and the amenities are quite complete. The bedding is also very soft. Most importantly, the staff are incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. Plus, the location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. It's really great value for money.

The family who runs the accomodation are very nice and helpful. I asked them to help me to rent a e-bike for the day and immediately they where finding me a solution. They are very responsive and kind. TIP TO FIND THE PLACE: you should look well for the number 4 is placed directly at the front door Room was small but nice and cozy, for a solo traveler totally fine. You should know the mattress is not a western mattress, is harder. I really like it and I rested beautifully but if you are really into soft stuff you will need to adapt. Location is nice, 10-15 min walk to the exit gate. Just for you to know, if you travel to the city in August is going to be very very very busy, and many people inside the inner walls. That means to exit the walls from the hotel is going to be a hard slalom in between people for many minutes. I guess the rest of the year is way calmer. I recommend the place

Very good experience. The owners are friendly and provide pick up at the gate entrance. Pretty courtyard and the owners shared a lot of information on where to eat / shop at. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse to those wanting to visit Pingyao.

A wonderful and very memorable stay. This is a true guesthouse experience, not a polished chain hotel, and that is exactly its charm. The room was large, with plenty of furnishings, a big king bed, and a nice courtyard setting. Sure a few things were slightly old, broken, or not quite perfect, but that simply added to the character and human feel of the place. The mattress was quite firm and I slept very well. What really made this stay special was the family. The mother was incredibly kind and helpful, taking the time to provide a map, sightseeing advice, and an efficient walking route to help me see the key highlights of Pingyao while minimising unnecessary walking. Later I met the son and daughter-in-law, who were both equally warm and friendly, and the son very kindly drove me to the train station the next day, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was simple but perfectly good, and exactly what was needed before more exploration of the town. This was not luxury accommodation, but it offered something far more memorable, genuine hospitality, kindness, and a personal touch. I would happily stay here again.

Very satisfied with this stay! The room is clean and comfortable, the layout is very warm, the facilities are complete and modern, especially the bedding is soft and sleeps very well. The surrounding transportation is convenient, and the nearby food supermarket is all available. The landlord was warm and thoughtful, responded quickly to the message, and solved the problem immediately. The price is super high.

Choosing this guesthouse in Pingyao Ancient City was definitely the right decision! The owner was so kind that we felt like friends. He even gave us a map and patiently told us the stories behind the old buildings. What's more, he not only planned a very reasonable itinerary for us, but the whole trip went smoothly.

The host were nice and friendly. They speak no English but they use and app for basic translations. The room is good value for money. Modern and clean, with good architectural finishes. They don't provide towels, shampoo and so. No air conditioner either, thou I asked for a fan and they gave it to me and it was perfect like that. Location wasn't so easy to find, the access road can be either dusty or muddy depending on the weather. It's about 15 minutes walk to the north gate of ancient Pingyao city wall. I would recommend specially to couples as it's the same price as for solo travellers. (I guess the price is per room) They didn't ask for a deposit as written in their policies, which is a plus.
