This is a hotel that is both like a hotel and a homestay. The decoration is very warm and has a girly feeling, but there is no elevator and the corridor is narrow. This stay far exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around by taxi or public transport, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was bright and sunny, spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was dry and odor-free. The bedding was fluffy and soft, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff were gentle and polite, and check-in/check-out was very efficient. When I needed extra slippers or drinking water, they were quickly brought to my room. All the facilities were well-maintained, with stable hot water and smooth internet. It's perfect whether you're traveling solo or with company, offering great value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.

Location is just 3 to 5 mins walk from King Cross station. Many eating places and supermarket Coles is nearby. Room is good size, bathroom is a bit small. Tea coffee is provided but no toothbrush set. Housekeeping service is available. Normally early check in is allowed, check out is 10am and you may keep your luggage there. Coin laundry machine available inside the hotel and is not expensive.

Our check in time was 3PM, but we arrived at the hotel around 12nn. Thankfully, the staff allowed us to check in early because our room was ready. The only thing was that it could be quite noisy outside as there was a bar just across the road, and walking around the area late at night may be a bit scary. But when you get inside the room, you can barely hear it loud noises. The location was really good as well.

I only ever stay at the Kirketon when I need a hotel in Darlinghurst. Great location close to all transport. As it’s in Darlinghurst there’s plenty of food options to choose from. Rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. I always ask for a bathtub in the bathroom as not all bathrooms have one. Staff are always very friendly and ready to help with anything.

Location is 5 stars. Amenities are dated but in good, cleans and working condition. Had everything we needed for a short 2 night stay. All staff were friendly enough but we had minimal interactions. Pool and spa was clean but there were people there with glasses of wine which was dangerous but staff didn't care. The ”studio executive” room was spacious with balcony. I would stay again for short trips.

I moved back to Sydney and needed accommodation until I moved into my new apartment and this place was perfect! Sam was incredibly welcoming, the room and bathroom was really clean, and the location was perfect to get into the city and other surrounding areas.

The hotel fully met our expectations and deserves a high rating, with one significant exception. It's not suitable for groups or multiple guests sharing a room because only one key is provided per room. This same key also opens the main entrance door. If the person with the key steps out, the other guest is completely locked in and can't even leave to use the restroom. This is a huge problem that the hotel needs to address immediately.

The apartment is a bit old and the cleanliness was just okay. Since our expectations were pretty low, we weren't surprised that no staff came to clean from check-in to check-out, so we had to clean it ourselves daily. The staff's service attitude was also quite mediocre. However, the location is incredibly convenient for getting anywhere; it's very close to the train station, museums, art galleries, and major shopping malls.

I was very worried, but the order could not be returned, so I brought disposable sheets. I booked a suite with a balcony. But when I arrived, I found it was completely beyond my expectation! The balcony view is very good, you can also see the Sydney Tower! The pictures are all real shots. The room is also clean and hygienic. There is no need to bring your own sheets. Although the facilities are a bit old, it does not affect the use. The room is quite spacious, with one bedroom and one living room. In Sydney, a city with high hotel prices, especially during the Spring Festival holiday, this apartment is extremely cost-effective! Moreover, although the swimming pool on the top floor is a bit small, the view is superb at night! It should be noted that the name of the hotel where you check in and get the keys is not the one you booked. It is in the same building as the hotel. Maybe my requirements are not high, but overall, I am satisfied and I will choose it again if I have the chance! Be sure to choose the room type with a balcony!
