Dandong Hotels with Wifi

I was already feeling down because of the recent rainy season, and the room had a bit of a damp smell. But the hotel staff immediately upgraded me to a suite and actively resolved all issues right away, which instantly brightened up my trip! Dandong's tourism industry should really have other businesses learn from them. They even gave me a small souvenir when I left. So happy! 🥳

This guesthouse, consisting of four separate rooms belonging to a family, is located on the 13th floor of an office building. It's not large, but because it's newly opened, the facilities are very clean. The location is also excellent, right next to the Broken Bridge over the Yalu River, with views of the river and North Korea across the river from the common areas. We booked a double room facing the complex. The room had a smart smart control system, and the TV could watch live TV (but not online TV) and could also be mirrored, which was great for passing the time. You need a card to go up to the elevator, a password to enter the building, and another password to enter your own room – the security is high, and the fully self-service check-in experience was quite novel! However, this guesthouse also has some shortcomings: 1️⃣ For example, the office building environment is indeed quite...unpleasant. The elevator area on the first floor has a strong musty smell, and the elevator itself is very old. Other residents simply leave their packages at the stairwell, making it messy. During rush hour, it can take forever to get the elevator. 2️⃣ The soundproofing inside the guesthouse isn't very good either. Even with the door closed, you can clearly hear children making noise in the opposite room (their door is also closed). Around 2 or 3 AM, someone was making a phone call or watching videos in the common area, and the sound echoed through the walls and ceiling, amplifying it several times over. I had to get up and open the door to warn them, but... 1. I asked the other person to lower their voice, but I could still hear them clearly. 2. After my child finished showering, there was no hot water in the shower. The owner's phone showed that the hot water was working normally, but I left it on for almost half an hour and could only wash my feet; the water was still ice cold. 3. The water suddenly stopped during the day, supposedly due to a water supply failure caused by heavy rain. 4. I had to go downstairs to pick up my takeout. Although I could press the elevator button for the delivery driver, it's impractical during rush hour when elevators take a long time and are very crowded. 😂 These problems were quickly resolved after I reported them to the owner. Thumbs up for their service efficiency! I hope the owner can continue to improve and optimize the service. I will consider going here again next time I have the opportunity to go to Dandong. I hope I won't encounter any more neighbors making loud noise in the public areas late at night.

The hotel boasts a great location, within walking distance of the train station and the Yalu River Broken Bridge. The surrounding commercial area is well-equipped, making dining and shopping very convenient. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and parking is a breeze with a dedicated lot in the back and street parking available out front. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, and the security guards are helpful with parking guidance. All employees greet guests, reflecting excellent hotel management. The facilities are comprehensive; they even called me to mail back a pair of white linen pants I left behind. The front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff are all highly professional. Breakfast offers a wide variety, including freshly ground coffee. Overall, a very comfortable stay!

To be frank initially we weren’t too impressed with this hotel. For the same price category in other towns in Dongbei we were given much better rooms. But that changed when we met the boss. He was all politeness, professionalism & he nailed the service attitude perfectly. First he offered us a half day Dandong tour at a reasonable price. He took care of all the related arrangements including taking us for a quick lunch. In the evening we happened by the barbecue stall he was manning & had a meal there. The next morning he helped us with our luggage, suggested a good place for breakfast & then called a taxi for us. His attention to details was meticulous. But what eventually made him stand out from the rest: In his haste to check out my partner had neglected to take his wallet from the desk where it was hidden among all the paraphernalia. Failing to contact us via WeChat the boss rushed to the railway station in his motorbike just to return us the missing wallet. He truly went above & beyond his duty & for that we are infinitely grateful to him. In conclusion should you ever visit Dandong do yourself a favour. Let this remarkable man take care of you. You will appreciate his genuine warm & sincere hospitality. And yes, the location of this hotel is superb. The popular Broken Bridge tourist attraction is just metres away.

This hotel was amazing! I am incredibly pleased with the quality and the politeness of the staff. The room is small but felt comfortable and warm. Close location that is next to the bridge and still walkable to the station. Quiet at night, thank you

The hotel is in a good location, close to the train station and not far from the Broken Bridge scenic area. However, dining options in the immediate vicinity aren't great. While the hotel facilities are a bit old, the rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast selection is very diverse. There's plenty of parking space in front of the building, making it ideal for self-drivers.

The triangular hut is very novel. It is fully equipped and clean. The only drawback is that the water in the bathroom is slow and water accumulates easily. The environment is very natural, there is a stream next to the room, and the water is very clear. The only drawback is that the park has not yet been completed, the price is a bit high, and there are a lot of mosquitoes. The service staff are very enthusiastic and kind. Although the breakfast is simple, it tastes good and is clean.

The room was a bit small; after placing the three beds, there was hardly any space left. However, my parents were quite satisfied. It's not too far from the river, and parking in Dandong is indeed very tight. The hotel has about four or five parking spots right in front, but if you arrive too late, you might not find a space. Otherwise, everything else was pretty good.

The bathrooms were spotless and cleaned regularly throughout the day, which made a big difference. One of the highlights was the common area. It was cozy and lively at the same time, with comfortable seating, games, and a fully equipped kitchen. The hostel also organized social activities like city tours and group dinners, which created a great sense of community. The location was perfect — close to public transportation and within walking distance of major attractions. Overall, this hostel offers excellent value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and social place to stay. I would definitely come back!

The area is very near to the railway station. The Broken Bridge is also within a walkable distance. Well-maintained and clean room. Definitely a good value for money. Location is excellent.
