Danjiangkou Hotels with Wifi

"Let me start by saying the experience was excellent. 1. **Location**: There are four Wanda Reign Hotels, each located at one of the four cardinal points of the Bagua diagram on Jinjie Street. Qixia Wuyi is one of them, and it's the second closest to the Wudang Mountain entrance. 2. **Hotel Layout**: The four smaller hotels are situated above a small street. Qixia Wuyi is above a photo studio, making it the quietest. The rooms are arranged in a grid pattern, and there are only three floors. The front desk is on the first floor, with most rooms on the second. There's a room type with windows facing the hallway, which you can see in my pictures. Most rooms, however, have windows at the back. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so while the stairs aren't steep, elderly guests should be mindful. The front desk offers free luggage storage; if you're staying for a short period and don't want to carry all your bags, you can store your main luggage and just take your essentials to your room. 3. **Room Facilities**: The front desk upgraded us to a family room, which had one 1.5-meter double bed and one 1.3-meter single bed. The bathroom is split into wet and dry areas, with a smart toilet room, a shower room, and a vanity area. The only downside is that the vanity area in the bathroom doesn't have a door, so it's not separated from the bedroom. 4. **Service**: When booking through Ctrip, we received a complimentary ticket to the Wudang Yimeng performance each night, which is a stage play with excellent stage effects. The front desk has a self-service beverage vending machine, and there's a laundry room and several small tables on the second floor. Downstairs from the hotel is Jinjie Street, which, unlike other scenic areas, has normal prices. There are many chain restaurants and stores like Starbucks, Ruixing Coffee, Dookoo, Mixue Bingcheng, McDonald's, and JD Supermarket. However, these eateries close early, so if you arrive too late, you'll have to order takeout."

"Finally got to Wudang Mountain for some much-needed relaxation! This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The hotel's ambiance is fantastic, especially the large terrace – the view is breathtaking. On a clear day, seeing the distant mountains and sea of clouds instantly brings a sense of peace. The room itself is designed in a new Chinese style, with thoughtful details, and the bathroom looks very high-quality; it was a really comfortable stay. Beyond the beautiful scenery, the overall experience was top-notch! In the afternoon, there's complimentary Shenshi tea, perfect for sitting down, sipping tea, and chatting – so pleasant. Breakfast was also delicious, with a rich variety of fresh options that left me feeling energized. You can also catch the sunset over at Nanyan Palace. The biggest surprise was the free Tai Chi class! Practicing Tai Chi with the instructor on the terrace in the evening, with the sky above and mountain breeze, was incredibly therapeutic. The instructor was very professional and responsible, correcting postures hand-in-hand and patiently guiding us, so even beginners could quickly pick it up. The service throughout was superb, making us feel completely at home. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Wudang Mountain!"

"The location is quite remote, catering purely to tourists. Although it claims to be a four-star hotel, the room facilities are basic and definitely don't meet industry standards; it's more like a regional four-star. The biggest highlight is the excellent breakfast with a wide variety and good taste. For dinner, I'd suggest eating in town as the hotel's dinner is not good value for money. For those with a car, staying a bit further out might offer better value."

"We had an excellent stay here. The room was great, the food was tasty, and the location/views superb. But more than any of that, the next-level service provided by the staff was perhaps the best I have ever received. We had a lot of difficulty navigating the Wudangshan bus system, hiking timing, etc, and the staff were always willing to discuss and solve problems for us over WeChat. Without them our trip would not have been possible. Highly recommend."

"A very satisfying accommodation experience! I am very happy to finally choose Shuirun Wanjia Hotel. I drove here by myself and selected it on Ctrip for half a day. The reason for choosing this hotel is that the hotel has its own independent parking lot with sufficient parking spaces. The second is that the hotel is in the city center, which is convenient for experiencing the daily life of Danjiangkou city residents. The third is that the evaluation is good, and it was previously a Danjiangkou City Hotel with complete facilities and good service. After checking in, everything is really good, especially the gym and laundry room that I thought there were no gyms before, and the gym is more complete than the equipment of the All Seasons Atour. Although there is no dryer in the laundry room, different machines are used for men and women, which is very considerate. The breakfast is also very rich, and the attitude of both the front desk and the room attendants is very good. If you have to make some comments, it is that the restaurant waiters keep reminding guests to take as much as they eat during the meal, which feels a bit redundant, just say it once."

"The location is fantastic, right next to the Wudang Mountain Tourist Service Center, making it practically the closest hotel to it. The Tourist Service Center is also where you catch the shuttle bus to the scenic areas. Plus, there's ample parking space in front of the hotel, which is super convenient. Right next door, you'll find a food street and various shops selling souvenirs. The room's heating was excellent, and the bathroom and toilet were separate. However, the light switch design in the room was quite impractical; you had to try each switch to figure out which light it controlled. Also, there was only one charging outlet by the bedside, which wasn't very convenient."

"Yun Wai Mountain Residence is highly recommended. The hotel is located at the Qiongtai Scenic Spot, approximately 300 meters from the base of the cable car and 50 meters from the bus stop, at an altitude of nearly 1000 meters. This is an ideal location for exploring Wudangshan. The staff is exceptionally friendly and very helpful. I was repeatedly and pleasantly surprised by how much everyone cared for a foreigner without any knowledge of Chinese. The hotel's restaurant offers local and Taoist specialties. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is elegant and meditative. The rooms are spacious with fantastic mountain views. I felt very comfortable for a week – nothing was lacking. Bonus: the five cats also take excellent care of the guests, especially during nighttime strolls. Note: you must take the last bus to the cable car (Qiongtai) at 5 pm, otherwise you will remain in the valley (no exceptions)."

"The location of the hotel was really convenient - only a 20-minute ride from the train station. They dropped us off when we wanted to head to the mountain. The amenities were very fancy with a smart device in the room. Our Chinese wasn't great so we weren't able to make the most use of it, but it was still a functional room without using the smart device. The hosts were very friendly and helpful."

"The location is fantastic, just a one-minute walk to the right from the cable car's upper exit. It's incredibly convenient for watching the sunrise. You can easily catch it from the hotel, next to the tea house, or from the viewing platform which is just a 10-minute walk away. The hotel even provides the sunrise times and recommended departure times. Breakfast and lunch are both available, so you'll have something to eat when you get back. The front desk staff are meticulous, providing timely tips and quickly resolving any issues. The owner is incredibly warm and thoughtful, both practical and meticulous, yet so welcoming 🌹.
