"This is one of the better quality options in Golmud (there aren’t many). The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the service was very poor - there were no functioning USB ports in the room and the hotel was unhelpful - seeming unwilling or unable able to offer a solution. The “room service” is actually takeaway food delivered from outside the hotel but no cutlery/chopsticks was provided with it. When we asked the hotel to provide some, it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive (longer than the food itself), by which time the food was getting cold. We had to ask repeatedly for sufficient drinking water, having only been provided two small bottles for two people. Aside from the poor service, the hotel is in an odd location, surrounding by closed shops and building sites - nowhere near the commercial centre of the city - with nothing within walking distance. With the right management, it could be an excellent hotel, but it’s not quite there at the moment."

"Hygiene is not a strong point. The hotel's housekeeping department neglected to leave a bottle of water that someone had drunk from in the refrigerator. The room had a small window, not the large one shown in the photos. The hotel is located in a busy area, next to local nightclubs and clubs. A female receptionist at the front desk couldn't get a check-in because of a duplicate name, even after giving her her phone number and ID. Fortunately, a male receptionist helped with the check-in, which was a plus for the hotel, as his service was quite good!"

"We were transiting in Golmud. The hotel we booked at first was not very good, so we changed to Hilton. We just looked at the reviews and decided. We thought there would be no star-level hotels in Haixi Prefecture, but the Hilton in Golmud exceeded my expectations. The lobby reception breakfast and guest rooms are all five-star standards, with full marks for details. It is also one of the few hotels with air conditioning. Takeout can be delivered to the door. There is free parking in the underground garage. The breakfast is great. The front desk lady is also very beautiful. The bathroom sanitary ware is also high-standard Duravit and Grohe. The water flow is large and the water pressure is stable, the hot water is sufficient, and there is no sewer smell. The bedding is also very good, the usual King Koil series is comfortable and easy to sleep, which relieves the fatigue of the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop. I will stay here again if I have the chance. Beautiful Haixi Prefecture, perfect Hilton."

There are car washes across from and next to the hotel, perfect for washing your car after returning from National Highway 109. The breakfast shop recommended by the front desk was also next to the hotel and tasted great."

"This stay at Atour was such a pleasant surprise! I had originally booked a standard double room, but upon check-in, the front desk staff were incredibly kind and upgraded me to a suite for free – I was instantly thrilled!
The suite was much larger than the double room, with a well-designed layout, spotless and odor-free. The bedding was soft and comfortable, with a wide selection of pillows, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the toiletries were of high quality. All the facilities were new and functional.
From arrival to check-in, the service was warm and attentive, with a gentle and patient attitude. The hotel environment was elegant and quiet, and it was very convenient for getting around. This unexpected room upgrade completely enhanced my experience, offering excellent value for money. It's the perfect choice for business trips and vacations, and I'll definitely choose Atour again next time!"

The breakfast was delicious, especially the noodles, though they could be a bit chewier – something to improve on. Everything else was really good. The service was excellent; they were very prompt in providing extra blankets and hangers. I would definitely come back."

"I have lived in too many hotels in the north and south, and this hotel really surprised me. In terms of facilities, diffuse oxygen supply and humidifiers greatly relieved physical discomfort. What touched me most was the warm service of all the staff of the hotel. Just arrived at the hotel entrance, the staff took the initiative to help with the luggage. The receptionist warmly and quickly handled the room card and upgraded the room for free. When I entered the room, there was a staff member to greet me. I casually said that my head was a bit uncomfortable, and I immediately brought Rhodiola Oral Liquid! The free supper provided was declined because I wanted to go out to eat, and then I quickly took a special snack! I said that yogurt is so delicious, and I immediately have to send 🤣 to check out the next morning. What surprised me was that the staff sent me four boxes of yogurt and a box of wolfberry! ! ! This treatment has not been encountered in many five-star hotels in the mainland! The first time I came to Golmud, although it was a few cold days, the enthusiasm of the hotel staff made us feel warm, thank you! Thank you for the enthusiastic Golmud people! The lobby immediately impressed us with its spaciousness and brightness, and the front desk staff were warm and incredibly attentive. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the mattress was so comfortable we got a truly restful sleep. A delightful surprise was finding both air conditioning and a humidifier, which was an incredibly thoughtful touch! One of the staff members even went above and beyond by helping us with our laundry, showing incredible thoughtfulness! The breakfast spread was also fantastic, offering a comprehensive selection including snacks, main dishes, cold and hot options, plus soy milk and milk – truly something for everyone. Highly, highly recommend! It truly stands out as one of the best memories from our entire trip.

Two movie tickets were given when checking in, the breakfast was tasteful, and parking was convenient. Unfortunately, the hot water was not hot and the water output was too small. The guests staying in this hotel are generally big shots who travel along the Qinghai-Tibet line, and they need hot water to wash and relieve fatigue. This is a management loophole and shortcoming of the hotel!

GGuest UserAs a frequent traveler, I have stayed in more than 2000 hotels before, and I have never felt more genuine care than at the Tu An Hotel in Golmud: as I check in, the manager 韓月 (I believe she was the manager) noted that my lips were dry, and immediately told her staff to set up a moisturizer in my room. I chose this hotel because the airport bus departs from here; however, the information regarding the bus schedule was patchy. The hotel staff did not know what was the latest schedule, but all of them had been very helpful to try to help me with it - from the manager to the cleaning staff. All of this shows that this hotel cares for the guests.

The room facilities are complete and equipped with sufficient hot and cold water. The wireless WiFi connection is smooth and fast. The parking lot is spacious and there are sufficient parking spaces. The two elevators are fast and quiet, the breakfast is rich and varied, the front desk service is warm and fast, making you feel at home, the room service is enthusiastic, the room is clean and sanitary, and the details are in place. Free tea, book bar, and freshly ground coffee are provided at the front desk. Ear-mounted coffee ☕, high quality of guests, quiet night’s rest, all in all, this is a very cost-effective hotel 👏

MMR.zihaoThe hotel shares parking lots with other nearby shops, but fortunately this hotel will occupy the space with a cone bucket, plus the price is cheap, which is an advantage. Because there is half a bucket of rotten acid water in a washing machine, the other door cannot be opened, and the groove of laundry detergent emits a stench, but the hotel did not increase the price during the May Day holiday, which is a very conscience act. So I didn't give a very low rating, if you don't have high requirements for the above situation, you can still try it.

GGuest UserThe room is very clean and the heating is sufficient. You can wear a down jacket outside and a short-sleeved shirt in the room. The washed clothes will be dry the next day. I have a weakened immune system and I got rashes on my legs after staying in other hotels a few times before, but not in this hotel. The location is also very good, just opposite the train station
