"This is one of the better quality options in Golmud (there aren’t many). The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the service was very poor - there were no functioning USB ports in the room and the hotel was unhelpful - seeming unwilling or unable able to offer a solution. The “room service” is actually takeaway food delivered from outside the hotel but no cutlery/chopsticks was provided with it. When we asked the hotel to provide some, it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive (longer than the food itself), by which time the food was getting cold. We had to ask repeatedly for sufficient drinking water, having only been provided two small bottles for two people. Aside from the poor service, the hotel is in an odd location, surrounding by closed shops and building sites - nowhere near the commercial centre of the city - with nothing within walking distance. With the right management, it could be an excellent hotel, but it’s not quite there at the moment."

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable and made people fall asleep in seconds, and the soundproofing was also very good. "The front desk service was very enthusiastic. When I checked in, I was given cookies, which were delicious and hot. The front desk lady patiently introduced the hotel and the swimming pool and gym. I also went to experience them. The service of the swimming pool staff was also very good and warm. The room was clean and tidy. I will continue to choose this hotel next time."

"There's a parking lot in the backyard, making parking convenient. The room's soundproofing was good, and even with the many guests staying, it wasn't noisy. The housekeeping lady was very friendly and helpful. She even gave me an extra bottle of water and opened the door for me. There are several car washes near the hotel, making it convenient to wash your car after returning from National Highway 109."

"This stay at Atour was such a pleasant surprise! I had originally booked a standard double room, but upon check-in, the front desk staff were incredibly kind and upgraded me to a suite for free – I was instantly thrilled!
The suite was much larger than the double room, with a well-designed layout, spotless and odor-free. The bedding was soft and comfortable, with a wide selection of pillows, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the toiletries were of high quality. All the facilities were new and functional.
From arrival to check-in, the service was warm and attentive, with a gentle and patient attitude. The hotel environment was elegant and quiet, and it was very convenient for getting around. This unexpected room upgrade completely enhanced my experience, offering excellent value for money. It's the perfect choice for business trips and vacations, and I'll definitely choose Atour again next time!"

"I have lived in too many hotels in the north and south, and this hotel really surprised me. In terms of facilities, diffuse oxygen supply and humidifiers greatly relieved physical discomfort. What touched me most was the warm service of all the staff of the hotel. Just arrived at the hotel entrance, the staff took the initiative to help with the luggage. The receptionist warmly and quickly handled the room card and upgraded the room for free. When I entered the room, there was a staff member to greet me. I casually said that my head was a bit uncomfortable, and I immediately brought Rhodiola Oral Liquid! The free supper provided was declined because I wanted to go out to eat, and then I quickly took a special snack! I said that yogurt is so delicious, and I immediately have to send 🤣 to check out the next morning. What surprised me was that the staff sent me four boxes of yogurt and a box of wolfberry! ! ! This treatment has not been encountered in many five-star hotels in the mainland! The first time I came to Golmud, although it was a few cold days, the enthusiasm of the hotel staff made us feel warm, thank you! Thank you for the enthusiastic Golmud people! "The hotel is a little out of place to be honest. It’s very close to 水上雅丹 but this attraction is not open to foreigners. This hotel has 司机房 for free (for those who has a driver).
However, my family and I never NEVER regret staying at this hotel even though the driver mention that it’s out of place and he has to go longer way to Dunhuang.
The sky was clear and we were able to see stars (really a lot of stars) and also sunrise and sunset.
One thing to share would be HAHA
We are a family of 4. Only the first person who showered has hot water. The rest of us showered in cold water. There is a signage saying that the hot water will come again 20 mins after the first person showered but the hot water didn’t come.
However, it’s not a big factor and we totally understand because it’s in a middle of desert!! We are luckily to even have water to shower in the first place. Our driver shared with us that this area doesn’t have water pipes so we are really luckily that this hotel does supply water."

First of all, the location is amazing, very close to the train station, just a few minutes by taxi, saving a lot of time. Check-in was incredibly fast, with minimal waiting time. The front desk staff were professional and polite, proactively introducing the hotel's facilities and services. The room layout was very practical, and the high-speed Wi-Fi remained consistent throughout, making file transfers and video conferences incredibly smooth. The soundproofing was also superb; with the door closed, I couldn't hear a thing in the hallway, allowing for a quiet night's rest. The hygiene standards were exceptionally high; the sheets and duvet covers were all freshly changed, and the toiletries in the bathroom were all brand-name, giving me peace of mind. The hotel's self-service laundry room and gym were also very useful; I could wash my clothes promptly after a few days of business travel, and even squeeze in a workout in the morning. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was nutritionally balanced, leaving me feeling refreshed and ready for work. Check-out was quick and easy; the staff proactively inquired about my stay, which was very thoughtful. This hotel will definitely be my first choice for future business trips to this city!

The lobby immediately impressed us with its spaciousness and brightness, and the front desk staff were warm and incredibly attentive. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the mattress was so comfortable we got a truly restful sleep. A delightful surprise was finding both air conditioning and a humidifier, which was an incredibly thoughtful touch! One of the staff members even went above and beyond by helping us with our laundry, showing incredible thoughtfulness! The breakfast spread was also fantastic, offering a comprehensive selection including snacks, main dishes, cold and hot options, plus soy milk and milk – truly something for everyone. Highly, highly recommend! It truly stands out as one of the best memories from our entire trip.

GGuest UserAs a frequent traveler, I have stayed in more than 2000 hotels before, and I have never felt more genuine care than at the Tu An Hotel in Golmud: as I check in, the manager 韓月 (I believe she was the manager) noted that my lips were dry, and immediately told her staff to set up a moisturizer in my room. I chose this hotel because the airport bus departs from here; however, the information regarding the bus schedule was patchy. The hotel staff did not know what was the latest schedule, but all of them had been very helpful to try to help me with it - from the manager to the cleaning staff. All of this shows that this hotel cares for the guests.

The hotel is new and very clean, with no odors. The owner is incredibly kind!

The room facilities are complete and equipped with sufficient hot and cold water. The wireless WiFi connection is smooth and fast. The parking lot is spacious and there are sufficient parking spaces. The two elevators are fast and quiet, the breakfast is rich and varied, the front desk service is warm and fast, making you feel at home, the room service is enthusiastic, the room is clean and sanitary, and the details are in place. Free tea, book bar, and freshly ground coffee are provided at the front desk. Ear-mounted coffee ☕, high quality of guests, quiet night’s rest, all in all, this is a very cost-effective hotel 👏

MMR.zihaoThe hotel shares parking lots with other nearby shops, but fortunately this hotel will occupy the space with a cone bucket, plus the price is cheap, which is an advantage. In addition, the laundry room is actually a decoration. Because there is half a bucket of rotten acid water in a washing machine, the other door cannot be opened, and the groove of laundry detergent emits a stench, but the hotel did not increase the price during the May Day holiday, which is a very conscience act. So I didn't give a very low rating, if you don't have high requirements for the above situation, you can still try it.

Restaurants and shopping are conveniently located nearby, just a few minutes' walk away. The only slight drawback was that the sliding door to the bathroom in our room was broken, so we couldn't close it while showering. Otherwise, we were very satisfied.
