"On a whim, my friend and I decided to head to Taizhou for seafood after failing to get train tickets from Shaoxing to Shanghai. We chose to stay at this hotel, which is an older five-star property. From the room's decor and facilities, it's clear they put a lot of thought into the details back then, with many standardized and pre-fabricated elements, which is quite impressive. The breakfast was also excellent, offering many unique dishes freshly prepared in an open kitchen. Compared to other hotels that often serve pre-cooked items, this was particularly commendable. There were even chefs circulating, directly assisting guests and catering to their requests, which was wonderful. We also had lunch at the hotel. The head waiter was very attentive, professionally introducing the dishes to us, and the food itself was superb."

"I booked a three-night package deal through Ctrip, and the hotel room was quite spacious and very comfortable. The hygiene and environment were excellent. I'm a bit of a clean freak, so I always wipe down the nightstand and desk with sanitizing wipes when I check into any hotel, and there wasn't a speck of dust here. Also, I drink a lot of water, and the staff were very thoughtful, bringing me several extra bottles. I also dined at the hotel restaurant during my stay; the service was attentive, the food was delicious, and they even gave me a discount. All in all, I was extremely satisfied."

"Booked this hotel last minute for a weekend getaway with friends. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming when we checked in. They even offered to help with our luggage since we had a lot, and patiently recommended some great local eateries nearby. The room was spotless, and the bedding felt very comfortable. We had originally booked a standard room, but the front desk kindly upgraded us to a king room for free, as they had availability. It was more spacious and comfortable. "Here's the takeaway: excellent facilities, but just okay service – a bit of a shame overall.
The hotel's public areas, rooms, and pool are very stylish and make for great photos. They've paid attention to the details too: bath salts, disposable bath liners, foot bath basins, multi-purpose charging cables, and wireless charging are all provided, making for a very convenient stay.
However, breakfast was a real disappointment. The only highlight was the fresh-squeezed juice; everything else was mediocre. We came to Taizhou specifically for the local glutinous delicacies, and yet, despite egg mochi and other items being clearly advertised on a billboard above the restaurant, none were available when we asked. If they can't provide them, why advertise them and get people's hopes up?
Service-wise, the cleaning staff and the pool receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the front desk staff had a poker face throughout, which was a stark contrast to the warm environment and lowered our first impression.
In summary: It's great for photos and relaxation, but don't come here expecting a fantastic breakfast or warm service. I'd suggest the hotel focus more on improving breakfast and staff training at the front desk; otherwise, even the best facilities won't be enough to build a good reputation."

"Service: Excellent. We drove ourselves, and the butler was waiting for us at the garage entrance in advance, proactively helping us with our luggage. They also provided parking vouchers. We could take bottled water from the front desk whenever we wanted. When it rained, the front desk also allowed us to take umbrellas freely. Plus, there's a bookstore in front of the hotel, so you can even take books back to your room to read if you find something you like.
Environment: Superb. The public areas are very pleasant, with both indoor and outdoor spaces to suit different preferences. The location is also very convenient, allowing us to wander through Ziyang Old Street at our leisure. It's also very close to one of the entrances to the ancient city wall.
Facilities: The speaker system is very stylish, and the electric kettle is a trendy, '网红' (influencer-favorite) model.

Guest User📍 Fantastic Ambiance: The 539-year-old camphor tree in the hotel's courtyard is an absolute ”treasure of the house.” Its lush green stature gives the hotel a unique historical charm. A morning stroll under the tree makes time feel like it slows down.
💁 Top-Notch Service: The butler service deserves a huge shout-out! Their response time was incredibly fast, truly ”answering every question.” They not only offered great travel advice but also meticulously arranged our daily needs, which was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming.
🥣 Dining Experience: Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, featuring all local specialties. We didn't need to search for guides to enjoy authentic Linhai flavors, starting the day off with great energy. The evening bar service was also good, with well-made cocktails. The reading room had a wonderful, quiet, and elegant atmosphere, perfect for unwinding.
📝 Minor Drawback: Just a small suggestion – while the bar's service and drinks are excellent, there isn't a non-smoking section. This slightly detracts from the experience for non-smoking guests.
Overall, the minor flaw doesn't overshadow the positives. It's a hotel with warmth and style, and I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Linhai!

Nora F.This hotel deserves to have a perfect 10 out of 10 rating, and I don't understand why it doesn't have that because it is perfect. The pictures do not do it justice because it is luxurious and it gives luxurious treatment. It is beautiful, very clean, and has everything you need for your stay. The food is so delicious that if the chefs adopted me I would let them, just so I could eat their food everyday. The entire staff including the owner which we were lucky enough to meet is so warm and kind. I'm not sure how much the owner is there but he was there the entire time we were there and would attend us himself when he could. We had our own butlers who were fluent in English and were so communicative with us and anything we needed they would quickly attend to it. The owner also speaks some English himself. I wish I was as fluent in Chinese as they all are in English. The location is also perfect because it is near all the scenic areas and the towns because it's just a very short Didi ride away.The rooms are beautiful and luxurious. I could go on and on about how wonderful this hotel is, but if you get a chance you must experience it for yourself. This is one of the absolute best hotels I have stayed at and I am so glad I got to stay here for our first China visit.

We stayed here during the Qingming Festival, and the hotel was almost fully booked. Despite that, the service was exceptionally attentive. Initially, I didn't have high expectations, especially when the navigation led us to the underground parking lot, I thought, 'Oh no, am I about to regret this?' But then, we arrived at the lobby just in time for fish feeding, which delighted my child, and the scenery was beautiful – it was a lovely start. As for the room, we booked a deluxe king room, and I loved the layout; the sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom was a great feature. The soundproofing was excellent, we couldn't hear a thing. The hairdryer was a Dyson, and the mini-bar, slippers, toiletries, and complimentary fruit and tremella soup were all of good quality, showing real care. I also booked a courtyard suite for my in-laws, which had an even more charming ambiance. The old street had performances during the holiday, and there were also snacks and a Starbucks right outside, perfect for a stroll. Overall, a great experience!

The homestay has a few steps, and the boss is intimate to help with luggage. The mountain behind the homestay is the charm of the mountains and the cliffs and cafes. We are not traveling by car, and the boss is intimate. A few minutes walk to the beach. Breakfast is a local special cake, quite delicious. The boss is warm and welcoming, the whole service is warm, and the seaside holiday is highly recommended.

The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, great water pressure, new facilities, and excellent soundproofing. The rooftop waterfall is visible from the window. The guesthouse has charging stations, which is a big plus. It has its own parking lot and a courtyard. The breakfast is quite plentiful, and the owner even cooked dinner when we arrived. The price is very reasonable, and we even went to karaoke. It felt like coming home. The couple is so nice. I'll definitely come back next time.

Shenxianju Star Viewing and Yuemu B&B, which we booked online with Ctrip in advance, is very close to the south entrance of Shenxianju Scenic Area. However, we learned that we were going to visit the next day, and after having a free and rich farmhouse special breakfast, the owner personally drove us there. We went there, and after the tour the boss came to pick us up and meet us at the B&B. Although we only stayed for two short nights, we felt very satisfied. Not only was the room comfortable and clean, the facilities were complete, but the service was warm and thoughtful. They took the initiative to help us carry our suitcases to the room where we were staying and introduced Shenxianjunan It is a leisure route suitable for the elderly, entering from the south gate and exiting from the south gate. The main attractions are basically visited, which saves us effort and time without wasting our legs. In particular, some of the intangible cultural heritage handicrafts and wood carving master-level products of the B&B owner are particularly unique and worthy of praise. Guest UserThe location of the B&B is very good. The large terrace room we booked can see the Golden Beach from the balcony. It is only a few hundred meters away from the Golden Beach. It is very close to eat and see the sea. The room is also quite big. I just have a suggestion. Suggestion The boss locked the iron door on the grapevine side. Different guests visited our room on the terrace every day, so the experience was not very good. After all, we booked a terrace room and did not want it to be a place for public viewing.
The seaside is really beautiful, and the boss is also very nice. When he saw us on the way, he asked us if we had breakfast. Breakfast was a simple Chinese buffet. It was a bit tiring to go uphill, hahaha. When you go downhill, you will see the golden beach on the right. On the left, go up the mountain. You can take a sightseeing bus on the greenway, and you can go up the mountain to the viewing platform. The scenery along the way is still quite hot under direct sunlight, but it is beautiful. It is so comfortable when there is shade and wind.
