"The hotel is located right by the Fuchun River, with just a road separating them. Upon check-in, we were given a room on the highest floor, offering an unobstructed view of the Fuchun River, Tongjun Mountain across the way, and the East Gate Pier. The room was clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff promptly attended to all our requests. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the restaurant staff were very attentive to guests' needs; sometimes, they'd approach us to ask if we needed anything even before we'd thought to ask. We stayed in Tonglu for 4 days and were extremely satisfied with our experience at the Hilton Garden Inn. Although it's rated 4-star on Ctrip, it's better than many 5-star hotels and offers incredible value for money. We will definitely choose the Hilton brand again in the future."

Most guests here are visiting OMG Thrill Park, and the owner specifically told us to grab some hotel mineral water and apples to take with us. The room was also very new and clean, and the family room was super spacious. I especially want to mention that we forgot two small bottles in the room, and the owner went out of their way to bring them out to us. The service was truly outstanding, no complaints at all! "This time in Tonglu, I chose a hotel with a local vibe, close to Daqishan Scenic Area, with a sign right at the intersection pointing to the park. The hotel is designed in a courtyard-style, folk-house aesthetic, blending with the backdrop of Daqishan to create a picturesque scene reminiscent of the 'Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains' painting. It's very atmospheric and perfect for travel photography, a service the hotel offers for free. I booked an open-plan room, which was quite spacious and minimally decorated. The large balcony overlooked the courtyard architecture. The bathroom was also big, with a separate wet and dry area, double sinks, and a bathtub. Even the hairdryer was a Dyson. There's no coffee machine, but they provide pour-over drip coffee bags. The fridge drinks are free but limited. Welcome fruit was provided, as was a complimentary afternoon tea with a drink and a piece of cake – though the basement where it's served had a strong damp smell, making it not ideal for lingering. Breakfast is served in the ground-floor restaurant, with a good variety and quality of food. Service was excellent, prompt, and welcoming. However, the TV's screen-casting function, the cleanliness of the fabric sofa, and the damp smell in the basement (where the gym and pool are located) are areas that need improvement."

"My friend and I checked into a hotel around 11:00 PM, having booked three nights on Ctrip. The receptionist for the first night, a short-haired woman, was completely indifferent. She told me to go to the self-service check-in machine with my ID card, but the response was very slow. She then asked me to state my name to see if there was a check-in notification. After checking in, she told me to wait for the self-service check-in. She didn't tell us that the room was only open for one night and that I needed to go back to the front desk the next day to get the remaining two nights' check-in. The second incident happened: On the night of check-in, my friend and I dropped off our luggage, went out for a late-night snack, and then returned to the hotel to shower. It was past 1:00 AM. My friend waited for more than ten minutes for the shower, but the water was always cold. The temperature was between 29 and 30 degrees Celsius. Even in summer, it was freezing cold, making it impossible to shower. I called the front desk, and the receptionist asked, ”Why are you showering at this time?” She then said, ”I'll give you another single room so you can go and shower.” I asked her what about the remaining two nights, and she continued, ”How many nights did you book?” I find it kind of funny. You didn't even check my messages when I checked in late at night, did you? Finally, you told me to have a technician come fix it tomorrow. At noon the next day, another lady (I don't know which department she was from) came to ask about the shower water temperature. My friend said the water was too cold to shower, so she responded with a sharp question: ”It was working fine for everyone who had stayed before, so why did it break down after you stayed?” This hotel's service really leaves me with a huge question mark. The only good thing was the guy who came to fix the water heater and check the water temperature. After repeated checks, he realized it was indeed a malfunction in the hotel's equipment, causing the low water temperature in our row of rooms. After repeated adjustments, he sent someone to fix it at 7 PM. Tonglu is a small county, and tourists only visit during holidays and summer vacations. At nearly 400 yuan a night, this hotel isn't cheap. I'm not asking for any other soft services, just focus on the hardware and the regular front desk staff. P.S. The other two long-haired front desk ladies were quite friendly."

"I was genuinely impressed by the Lijing Hotel. Even though it's 10 years old, the luxurious and tasteful decor still looks brand new. The shower had excellent water pressure with no drainage issues whatsoever, which speaks to the quality of their plumbing. It's a shame I only stayed one night and had to leave so soon. I'll definitely choose Lijing again if I get the chance."
