Dream Dwell Paris-Spacious Loft in the Marais

Positives : 1. It is in a great location . Walking distance to Louvre and Notre Dame . Close to train station , super market , eateries plus historic building around . 2. Safe area . Close to main road but still not too noisy 3. Room is kept clean . It has bare minimum essentials but everything is there like stove , microwave , washing machine 4. Bathroom is good 5. Owner communicates fast and check in process is easy Overall this is a good place for two people as sofa bed can accommodate two and third person can sleep in the loft . Negatives : 1. The loft is barely 3 ft high. You cannot even sit on the bed . You just have to climb up and roll into the bed . It is difficult to sleep for two people . Felt like I am in a coffin . 2. You have to climb very narrow , winding two level flight of stairs . Steps are very narrow you have to keep watching the steps . 3. Eventhough it says air conditioned - there is an air cooler/fan that is it . However you can open the big windows to get fresh air in .. but if there is a heat wave it may not be enough.

GBHere there everywhere
Clean hotel with basic amenities, with pretty rooms.❤️ Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, a half an hour's walk to the Eiffel tower 🗼and lots of museums🎨. There are a lot of train/metro stations nearby🚝🚉, a minute or two away. There is an overwhelm of award winning cafes ☕🥐 everywhere so you are spoilt for choice. The check-in process is very smooth, the staff friendly. The room is quiet, you cannot hear the street outside with closed windows, but you might hear your neighbours showering/coughing. Overall great stay 😊

Located on the Champs-Élysées, the hotel is conveniently located. Just exit from Line 1 and walk straight into the LV building. The hotel offers warm service, and coffee and tea are provided free of charge in the lobby.

Overall, I liked the hotel. It was clean and well-maintained, the staff was polite, and the breakfasts were good. There are two metro stations nearby, one offering a direct line to the Eiffel Tower. The city center is quite a long walk away. It's about a 30-minute walk to the Louvre, 40 minutes to the Champs-Élysées, and 1 hour 10 minutes to the Eiffel Tower. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is also perfectly fine. There are large boulevards nearby.

I had a pleasant stay at Splendid Hotel Paris. The hotel offers a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the city, with a welcoming and well-maintained atmosphere that made the stay enjoyable. A special commendation to Claudia and Daniel for their excellent service. Both were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful, going out of their way to ensure everything was smooth and comfortable. Their professionalism and warmth really stood out and made the experience even more memorable.

The hotel's location is fantastic, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. My family and I loved it; we booked two rooms for two nights. However, the reception staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming. We discovered that the rooms were on the top floor and were always cold because the air conditioning was inadequate. There was also a persistent unpleasant odor in the hallways. What bothered me most was the lack of water in the rooms, except for the minibar, which contained two bottles. After using them, the attendant asked us to pay for them. When checking out, they asked me how many bottles of water I had used. I said two because I realized I had to pay 5 euros for a small bottle, which is exorbitant. After paying and checking out, the receptionist announced that they had discovered I had used three bottles, not two, as if I had stolen a bottle of water. I booked two rooms with three beds each; we were a family, and one of my children might have used the hotel water without me noticing. I paid a considerable sum for the hotel, and the bottle of water was a small price to pay.

I loved this hotel. Close to a metro stop and as a confident user of the Metro it was easy to get everywhere I wanted! I was doing Paris on the cheap and by staying here it allowed me to spend a bit more money on treats! My room was spotless and the staff are lovely! I actually had the most amazing time! If like me you are on a budget here are some things I loved! 1. Think you can’t afford some stunning Jewellery-on the Pont Neuf there is a tiny jewellery boutique Jeanne Danjou which has been there since 1920. All the items are around 20 euros and all unique made from vintage beads 2. On the place de voges skip Carette and go to Cafe Hugo - lunch is £17.50 for two courses and a small coffee with bread a Jam for breakfast €3.90 3. Do not miss Musee de Carnavalet - no crowds and free - tells the history of Paris through rescued interiors I was alone in most of these and yes no queue 4. Musee Archives National - free and stunning with a lovely garden to sit and eat your baguette 5. Dame Blanche near Musee Archives National - tiny choux pastries all under €2 6. Take the 18€ cruise at sunset from next to the Eiffel Tower (I found it on get your guide) then see the Eiffel Tower light up and get a picture of your Iris on the bridge next to Alma Marceau - I’ve always wanted one but in the shops they are much more expensive 7. If you stay at this hotel - next to the McDonalds is a lovely bakery- almond crossiants are €2 and the tuna baguette is €4 8. I used the money I saved to have a Hammam at Les Cents Ciels and buy a silk scarf bag from INOUI a French brand you probably haven’t heard of which is stunning, unique and fraction of the cost of other luxury brand - ask about the special leather handle which turns any silk scarf into a bag Thank you much for a holiday to remember!

Breakfast: Standard continental, with a spacious dining area. However, the French chain burger joint right outside is absolutely delicious, with a Caribbean flair. Room: The double room felt cramped, which is understandable given it's only 13 square meters, similar to some student accommodations in the UK. I wouldn't recommend it. Cleanliness: The lobby is large and quite good. However, there were small bloodstains on the sheets, which looked like they had been washed many times. The bathroom is tiny, as the bathtub takes up a lot of space. It feels like an old building that's been converted, similar to the 'laopoxiao' (old, dilapidated, and small) apartments you find in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. You could probably find a better option for the same price. But then again, it is a chain hotel. Location: It's fairly convenient, within 30 minutes of major attractions. However, the entrance isn't very conspicuous, and you have to climb a steep hill to get there. There's a nice park near a subway station behind the hotel.

The hotel's location is excellent: close to the metro, McDonald's, and a grocery store are very close, and all the city center attractions are within walking distance. The staff is helpful and polite. The hotel is in good condition, with a working elevator and plenty of TV channels. The room is small, like all Paris hotels. The most important thing in winter is that the hotel is very warm! The bathroom had a window :) Cons: - No kettle in the room - Safe doesn't work - Very small shower stall (barely fits a 90+ kg person)

Safe area and located near metro. On arrival you are asked for your passport details and it is recorded on a system. Staff are friendly and willing to help However I was not made aware that there was a major event on my departure. This meant I could have missed my connection back to London. Just a note for the staff to let visitors know if an event is happening.
