"Saga doesn't have a vast selection of hotels. Traveling with my parents, I picked this one for its Japanese-style room, hoping they could experience sleeping on a tatami mat.
When we arrived, it wasn't yet check-in time. However, the hotel kindly allowed us to complete the check-in formalities and store our luggage. We then headed straight out to explore the nearby Prefectural Office and grab some lunch.
Upon our return in the afternoon, we simply collected our room key and went directly upstairs. Our luggage had already been conveniently placed in our room.
The room wasn't particularly large; it felt a bit cramped for three people. We coordinated with the front desk before heading out for the evening, and they came in to lay out the futons while we were gone.
Breakfast is served on the first floor. Looking at the price displayed at the entrance, I'd say it wouldn't offer great value for money if purchased separately.
Additionally, as Saga isn't a very bustling city, if you're particular about dining options, staying closer to the station might be more convenient."
