"This quick hotel brand is from Japan, and I've stayed at many of their properties there over the past two decades. I actually stayed at this Daegu location before. It's in a fantastic spot, right in the heart of the downtown commercial district. The hotel reception is on the seventh floor and features a huge lobby and breakfast area. All bookings include breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and even have a bathtub! It's about a fifteen-minute taxi ride from Daegu Dong (East) Station, and you can also get there by subway. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day and can help you call a taxi. It's almost impossible to get a room on weekends, so remember to book in advance for a better price!"

"Swimming in the winter infinity pool was the best, exceeding my expectations.
The room was clean, and the bedding was comfortable and nice. I would love to stay here again on my next trip.
The cafe next to the lobby is friendly, but... the coffee taste is a bit underwhelming.
There are good food options down the hill, and it's close by.

"The location is fantastic, right in Dongseong-ro! 👍 Even though it was a special walking-only rate, they directed me to an external parking lot, so parking was no issue. The room had a Styler (garment refresher) and a ventilation system on the ceiling, which allowed me to air out the room and enjoy a pleasant stay without any strange odors. The room was also spacious enough to open up my suitcase without any problem."

"Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. Unfortunately, I don't have photos, but I'll do my best to describe it.
First, the room condition was neat and clean. It seemed recently renovated, there were no unpleasant odors, and the bedding was decent.
I also had breakfast. A staff member, who felt like an aunt, kindly guided me on how to use everything, so I enjoyed the meal. However, the menu isn't diverse or extraordinary; expect something like delicious home-cooked food.
So far, about 4 stars, haha.
The biggest advantage of this accommodation is its central location, making it convenient to access a wealth of amenities and public transportation.
The most significant appeal is the friendliness of the staff, which was evident from the reception.
In this day and age, where service mindsets and concepts have changed, most places tend to mechanically recite manuals like soulless AI. But here, the staff members genuinely put their best effort into every word of their responses.
To sum it up, while too much service can sometimes make both parties uncomfortable, this was a pleasant city accommodation where guests felt good, and staff could work without emotional drain, allowing everyone to smile. If you're looking for good food, convenient transportation, and genuinely heartfelt service, I highly recommend this place."

"The window in the first room I was assigned on the second floor was broken and wouldn't lock. The owner did move me to a different room on the first floor, but the lighting was so dim that it was difficult to read or write notes. I couldn't properly check the cleanliness of the bed and felt uneasy, so I ended up sleeping on a large towel. The bathroom, perhaps due to its interior design, had mold, and it was hard to adjust the shower water temperature (turning it towards hot would make the water extremely hot). There was a bit of a chill, making it feel like showering in an old detached house's bathroom. ^^;"

"This is an excellent hotel, perfect for introverts! It's a fully automated hotel, from parking to checkout, everything is self-service. I recommend entering only one name when checking in, as inputting punctuation can be a hassle when retrieving the room key. The complimentary beer service ends at 10 PM, and since we checked in after 10 PM, we missed out. It would be great if they could put it in the room instead. Breakfast is also self-service; you just go down and grab what you want. The selection isn't huge, but it's enough to fill you up."

"I've stayed in multiple Brown Dot hotels from Songtan to Busan and now here in Daegu. This is probably the nicest one of them all so far! Love the old brick style and the decor to go with it. The location is great as it's right in the city. Walking distance from a Korean-styled Starbucks that's very popular. This is the first time I've ever used a Kiosk to check-in and out which was very convenient with an English option. I must say that the check-in time is probably the latest I've ever experienced which is 5pm, but I was able to leave my luggage in the dining area with no issue then come back. Definitely might try to stay here again if I come back and the price was great as I'm a Diamond Tier Trip.com user so it was only $56 including tax"

"I had a fantastic experience at UH FLAT Daegu. The room was stunningly designed, spacious, and very aesthetic. I was particularly impressed with the high-end appliances and modern amenities, which made my stay incredibly comfortable and convenient.
What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the exceptional service. The staff is meticulous and genuinely cares about their guests. I had a difficult situation where I left an item behind, and because I don't have a local Korean phone number, arranging shipping was nearly impossible for me. The team went above and beyond to help me coordinate the delivery to Seoul, solving a huge problem with such kindness and patience.

GGuest UserThis is a proper hotel, not a motel. The breakfast is excellent, the facilities are great (there's a gym), and the rooms are good. There's even a clothes freshener. There's a slight new-building smell, but it's much better than a motel smell. It's the best in Hyeonpung.

Great location! Just a short walk from Dongdaegu Station and many well-known eateries. I felt truly welcomed during my stay — a special thanks to Ann, front desk for her kindness. She even wrote a thoughtful welcome card wishing me wonderful memories in Daegu.
Although there were a few small inconveniences, the friendly smiles and excellent service from Ann and the rest of the staff made my stay outstanding. I happily give this hotel 5 stars and hope to return in the future again!

NNanookleskimoThe house is easy to find thanks to the neon sign, it is peaceful and located 15 min away by walking from the shopping and restaurants area. It's an old traditional house very well maintained with a beautiful Korean garden in the midst of a scooter repair shop neighborhood, which makes it quiet at night. The rooms have AC and have beautiful wooden panels. The bedding is comfortable with a double futon. The pillows are a bit too hard though on the neck. The bathroom is clean. They provide shampoo and soap amenities. Coffee and tea you can help yourself with in the shared kitchen. The owners work quite hard to make it welcoming and were helpful in providing touristic information about the city. We had a wonderful stay and recommend it to any families looking for a soothing and peaceful stay in a traditional yet modern setting.

LLagertha14The accommodation is very comfortable with complete facilities. Although we arrived before check-in time, the hotel allowed us to leave our luggage. During our stay, the hotel was under renovation. We had reserved breakfast, but it was not available, so the hotel refunded us and upgraded our room for one night. However, we had to move to a different room the next night due to ongoing renovations. The room conditions matched the pictures shown. The staff was lovely and, despite not speaking English, made great efforts to assist us.
There are convenience stores and numerous restaurants around the hotel, making it very convenient for work. Transportation is easy, with a bus stop within walking distance.
If there is an opportunity, we will stay here again.

HHello,puiThe room was spacious enough for two large and two small suitcases, and importantly, this hostel has an elevator! It's very convenient, and the location is also excellent! We found the actual location based on a previous review.
The lady at the front desk downstairs speaks excellent English! There were absolutely no communication barriers throughout our stay!
We were four girls staying on the 4th floor, but the common area on the 4th floor is only for males, which was a bit inconvenient.
Also, you can't shower between 11:30 PM and 7:00 AM, which is a bit inconvenient for a night owl like me.
Overall, though, I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserThe location is near Central Station, with many bars and restaurants nearby, and it's also very convenient for shopping. The electronic wardrobe is a big plus. The soundproofing is a bit poor; the noise from next door cleaning is quite noticeable. The bathroom doesn't have a door, and the shower area isn't properly separated, so water gets all over the bathroom and sink area.

It had two large double beds, and the bathroom was well-equipped with towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, and a hairdryer. The room had a large window with good natural light and ventilation, and also a dining table and chairs.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness was excellent, and the room had no unpleasant odors.
Service: The lobby on the first floor was spacious, with self-service check-in. There was a coffee machine, ice maker, and microwave.
Environment: The hotel isn't located on a main street, but it's very close to a bus stop. The surrounding environment is quiet, likely in a residential area. There's a police station nearby, so the safety is good. However, there are no convenience stores nearby; there's one small shop, but it's probably not open 24 hours. Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel and highly recommend it. We would definitely stay again if we had the chance. ☺️☺️
