"This was my last of 3 one-night stays here and I arrived late, about 10.20pm as I took the last train from Luang Prabang. A staff member welcomed me when I got off my car ride and offered to take my bag. I think I had a free upgrade as the room was bigger than what I stayed for my 2nd visit but again the power sockets were not near the bed but at the entrance and dressing table. Tried their toast and hot chocolate and it was a simple but nice breakfast (can't really expect anything for the price of the room). :)"

"We had a wonderful stay at Eastin Hotel as a family. The hotel was comfortable, family-friendly, and offered excellent service throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the amazing breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes. Our room was spacious, clean, and provided plenty of space for our family to relax. The location was convenient, and we especially appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to the night market and the Nam Phu area. The hotel also offers airport transfers, making travel arrangements very easy. Another feature we found extremely useful was the hotel’s app, which allowed us to conveniently book transfers, order room service, and access other hotel services. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay at Eastin Hotel again on our next visit. Highly recommended! 😊"

"Close to Si Hom Market, there's a lot of food variety at night. The room was good, new, clean, and stylish, definitely good value for money. The location is excellent. Breakfast was served individually. The bathroom was nice, and the AC was cold. Coffee, tea, and drinking water were provided. I'm deducting 1 point because the Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out."

"We arrived at the hotel before noon and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service from the moment we landed. The hotel arranged seamless airport transportation, making our arrival stress-free. The front desk team was exceptionally attentive and welcoming. They kindly offered us an early check-in and upgraded us to a better room immediately, rather than having us wait for the room we had originally booked. They also accommodated a late check-out request (subject to availability) and arranged our airport transfer upon departure. The outstanding service, flexibility, and attention to detail made this a perfect business trip. Highly recommended."

"This hotel is one of the few high-end options in Laos, a 5-star Thai brand. The facilities are relatively new, and it attracts a good mix of Chinese and Western tourists. The front desk staff can speak Chinese. The hotel offers a rich breakfast spread. It's located right on the Mekong River, just a two-minute walk from French Street. Across from the hotel is Vientiane's famous night market, and there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and spas in the surrounding area."

"I usually choose hotels with a rating of 4.7 and over 500 reviews within my budget. This hotel didn't quite meet those criteria, but I booked it immediately after seeing a negative review complaining about the 'no smoking in rooms' policy! I absolutely detest cigarette smoke! It's fantastic that smoking is prohibited! First of all, I was traveling alone, and the room size was not small, and the cleanliness was also good. The service was decent, the breakfast was excellent, and the fruit was fresh. I'd deduct some points for the facilities: Although there was no window, the fresh air system made it not stuffy, which is a plus. The hairdryer was subpar, still using a slow 1000W model. I'd suggest sourcing some high-speed hairdryers from China (many brands available, low cost). The power outlets only had five-hole sockets. I recommend sourcing some panels with Type-C/USB ports from China, which wouldn't add much to the cost (you can find these easily at Huaqiangbei in China). The air conditioning was powerful, but even at the lowest fan speed, the noise was still significant. So I opted to turn off the AC and the fresh air system for a good night's sleep, as sleeping well is very important! Overall, I still highly recommend this hotel, which is completely smoke-free and prohibits durian. It was perfect for me!"

"I had an enjoyable stay here, considering I was very unwell. Room was exceptionally clean (cleaner than some i’ve stayed in back home in Australia), newly renovated bathroom is small BUT perfectly enough My only complaint about my room (this may not apply to other rooms), is the water pressure was SO HIGH. This made the spray gun next to the toilet almost impossible to use without it being painful. There would be about a 5-6 second time frame where it would lose most pressure and be usable, but then shoot back to the usual pressure. The shower also had pressure and temperature issues, every 30 seconds or so it would lose pressure and temperature, and then shoot back up way beyond the set temperature. It was pretty frustrating!"

Will definitely be back, just a slight mark down in terms of amenities because we didn’t have hot water on the first night, the staff were very prompt and fixed right away, but there was a little smell in the corridor too, perhaps just because it’s a new build."

"**Excellent value, great location and impressive facilities** Overall, this hotel offers very strong value for money and was one of the most convenient places I stayed in Vientiane. The location is excellent. The hotel is in a very practical central area, with two large shopping complexes nearby and the morning market on the other side. Everything you may need is easy to access: shops, food, basic services and deliveries. For a European traveller, the location is especially convenient, and it would be difficult to find a much better area for this price. The facilities were also a pleasant surprise. The gym is spacious, air-conditioned and equipped with modern machines. Next to it, there is a large outdoor swimming pool with enough space for both adults and children, as well as sun loungers around the pool area. There is also a sauna. It felt a bit worn and could have been hotter, but I still enjoyed using it after the gym. I stayed on the 13th floor and the view was one of the highlights of the stay. From one side, there was a beautiful view of the Mekong River and nearby temples, and from the other side, a view toward Patuxai. Breakfast was included in the room rate, which added to the overall value. There are a few areas that could be improved. The rooms did not have convenient international or European-style power sockets, so I had to buy an adapter. Also, not all elevators were working at times, which sometimes caused long waiting times. English communication at the reception was limited, which may be inconvenient for international guests. Despite these issues, I think the hotel is excellent for its price. With its location, gym, pool, views and included breakfast, it is a very strong option in Vientiane and I would recommend it."

"The hotel is located in the city, surrounded by convenience stores, Starbucks, and restaurants. The location is excellent. The hotel is new and generally clean. The room is quite spacious, the bed is soft, and they provide four pillows, which is great. All the amenities and equipment in the room are complete. However, the room had a slight cigarette smell, but it wasn't too bothersome, and I could sleep normally (staff came to spray air freshener). The swimming pool is good and clean, and there's a fitness center. The equipment and facilities in the fitness center are very comprehensive, which is excellent. There's also a steam room, which I really liked. Breakfast offers a good variety of choices, and the food is delicious. It's excellent. There are many drink options. Compared to the room rate, the food quality is better than expected. All the staff provide excellent service; they are polite, helpful, and always smiling. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The price is reasonable, and the service far exceeds the cost."
