Hue Hotels with Wifi

"After spending time relaxing in Da Nang, I added Hue to my itinerary because I wanted to experience more of Vietnam’s history, culture and traditional architecture. For my stay, I chose Meliá Vinpearl Hue, and it was a comfortable base for exploring the city. The first thing that stood out was the size of the room. The room was spacious, modern and very comfortable, with an impressive bathroom that added a feeling of luxury to the stay. The view from the room was also a highlight. Being able to look over Hue from above gave a completely different perspective of the city, especially in the morning when I woke up to the hills in the distance. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore nearby restaurants, cafés and attractions. After spending the day walking around Hue in the heat, returning to a comfortable and spacious room was exactly what I needed. My only small criticism was that the room had carpet, and I felt the carpet could have been vacuumed more thoroughly before my arrival. This did not ruin my stay, but it was something I noticed. Overall, Meliá Vinpearl Hue provided a comfortable and relaxing experience. If you are looking for a modern hotel with spacious rooms, great views and a convenient location while exploring Hue, this is a good choice."

"This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Hue, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The service was good; at check-in, they confirmed the meeting times for activities I had pre-booked. Although it's a bit far from the main tourist attractions, Grab is readily available, so it wasn't an issue. Even taxi drivers seemed to know of this hotel when I tried to flag one down. The room was a bit small, but it had most of what I needed, except for tissues."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, situated right in the heart of the city and close to many local attractions. My room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and offered a stunning view from the window. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. They were extremely welcoming, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of delicious options. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely come back!"

"Compound located about a ten-minute Grab ride from downtown. A collection of small three-story buildings (no elevator) and villas/rooms scattered through a jungle-like maze of greenery. Visible red brick, tiled roofs. We stayed in a villa/room located at the top of about fifteen steps (thanks to the staff who handle luggage on arrival and departure). The building contained the room and bathroom (single sink, bathtub). Nicely decorated, with slate, statues, and vases in a Cham-inspired style. Unfortunately the wifi router looks like it was added without the decorator's knowledge... A unique touch: the shower is outdoors, in nature (supposedly no one can see in — see photo). We were basically in the middle of the jungle, so don't expect a complete absence of insects and critters (geckos, ants, mosquitoes...), but for mosquitoes the villa had at least four lines of defense (mesh screens on the doors, mosquito coils lit by staff in the evening, a UV/suction trap device, and a bed net). The first three were enough, and we never needed to use the bed net (which has its own charm — a four-poster-style bed). Well-stocked breakfast buffet with Vietnamese specialties. Only downside: eggs Benedict served without sauce or bread... Yoga at 7:45am daily, but unfortunately we couldn't make it (feeling a bit under the weather). The room is inspiring (see photo), located in the compound's spa area. Tested 😀the 1-hour full body massage. Very good and relaxing. Slept here. Done in separate little houses. Choice of oil: cajuput, ylang-ylang, lavender, lemongrass, eucalyptus. The spa’s signature oil is cajuput, locally hand-made from tea-tree-family leaves that cools the body. But the smell is too strong for me. Interesting concept with three pools -- one for kids with a slide, a main one with a bar/snacks, and a third ”quiet” pool, technically reserved for guests over 12 (or at least an area where you're not supposed to talk). This last pool is also reserved for villa guests. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Managers were quick and efficient at resolving issues. Communication via WhatsApp for any problems or arranging cars/excursions. WeChat unfortunately not available."

"This feels like a family-run guesthouse, almost like a converted home, and it's very close to the train station. It was a strange coincidence – when I took a taxi from Hue train station to the hotel, the driver, who spoke excellent English, gave me a tour of the sights along the way. Three days later, when I hailed a taxi to go to the Hue office to leave town, it was the same driver! For my first meal after checking in, I went to a beef hotpot place inside the Imperial City. It didn't have any reviews on popular apps like Dianping or Xiaohongshu, but it was the most satisfying meal I've had in Vietnam so far – very similar to what you'd find back home, and reasonably priced too. The next day, I explored the Imperial City and tried salt coffee. All the local Vietnamese coffee is just too sweet for my taste. On my third day, when I was leaving, I realized I'd left behind a white top. I had planned to wear it on the sleeping bus, but completely forgot to pack it when I checked out."

"As an architecture lover, th hotel is incredibly beautiful - a 1930s Art Deco building was the former French colonial governor’s residence. The interiors are classy and elegant (and smelled really nice too!). Breakfast was great, as were the spa and gym. The staff were also incredibly helpful. Would definitely come back again!"

"Lovely resort, 2 very clean pools, beachfront, villas are very well presented, 2 TV’s, free WiFi, very good restaurant food items. Location is the only negative as there is nothing close bar a couple of very small lunch/ bar places for locals. Bay restaurants were closed when we were there."

"Awesome stay. The lady at the front desk was so helpful. They do motorbike hire and laundry. There are nearby coffee places along the river although not many places for breakfast. There are very good places that offer Hue specialty: Bun bo Hue."

"This hotel was the most anticipated part of the entire trip to Hue. The resort was great, though a bit out of the way, requiring a taxi to get around. It had a retro feel but was clean and tidy, and everyone greeted us with a smile, creating a wonderful vacation atmosphere. The double room had an extra bed, and the breakfast included was great value. They even offered a wake-up service (I loved their flip-flops!). Because our train was at 6 AM the next day, we ate breakfast a day early – it was à la carte, and the yogurt was quite good. The receptionist even asked about our train time and thoughtfully prepared a convenient lunch for us when we left. There was also a cute little Year of the Horse gift – so sweet! It really boosted our mood. My parents were very satisfied with the trip. Thank you! I'll definitely recommend this hotel first in Hue. This is the first time I've written such a long review."

"Had a great stay at this hotel with a river view and very attentive staff. However, the hotel is undergoing renovations in some rooms, including one just a room away from ours, which led to very significant noise disturbances (it was unbearable to stay in the room at that time). I find it regrettable that the room we booked three months in advance was assigned to this location (near the renovated rooms). Otherwise, the location, room size, and river view make me recommend this hotel."
