I was left hanging at 11:30 p.m. in the reserved apartment Ünver Galata Apart. since there was no one at reception. I had to look in an inhospitable and dark neighborhood for a hotel for that first night and I booked it on site but when I arrived at this hotel they told me that the reservation was for the next night. They didn't give me my money back nor did they say they had a room. On the PC screen I saw numbers that looked like room numbers, in red but also quite a few in green… They charged me for the night and on top of that I had to look for another hotel…

Hotel location is excellent. Galata Tower and Galataport are within walking distance.
But the cleanliness is unfortunately disappointing. The hotel is old and in disrepair. Primarily cleaning and then renovation is a must.

The communication of the staff was nice, even after a little miss communication which was clarified in person.
The host at the reception was very friendly. We stayed there only for one night and was a relaxing stay. Spacious rooms with all basic necessities, we had a huge balcony connected to the two rooms as well.
One of the two rooms was smelling a lot like cigarettes which was very uncomfortable for my uncle and the hotel couldn’t do anything about it, as per their response. The location of the hotel is central, close to a good amount of restaurants and city life.

The location is central. The rooms were quiet. Only issue the smell from the sink in the kitchen at times. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

It is a very centrally located, clean and well-maintained hotel in the Karakoy region. The employees are friendly and smiling. They are always helpful. Especially thank you very much to the receptionist Ibrahim for everything. A hotel that I would definitely recommend. When I come to Istanbul, I no longer need to look for another hotel. Thanks.

As soon as I entered the room, the stale cigarette smell lingered throughout my stay.
They didn't even clean the room and they didn't bring new towels until I asked for them.
It's a good location for sightseeing at an affordable price, but I really want to recommend it.

The hotel is well located near the Galata Tower and close to the piers, while being quiet. We appreciated the large room with large bathroom.
5 minutes from the Tram and 10 from the metro on foot.
