In a sense, it feels like a hot spring inn in the Showa era, and the service can be said to be a first-class hot spring inn. The open-air bath with the room is wonderful, including the point where you can overlook the sea. This is also good for those who like to eat in the room, but to be honest, the real food is not delivered, you can't go into the room and relax after the hot spring, and you can't wait to set up the futon after dinner. There are many disadvantages, and I personally prefer private dining rooms (including wind) to dining in the room. At the time of booking, the dishes were planned with very luxurious ingredients, and I may have expected too much. Overall, I think it's good to include the price, so I think it depends on what you take.

Stayed one night on a trip to Nishiizu. The view from the room directly facing Suruga Bay is the best. A regular ferry connecting Shimizu Port and Toi Port crosses the sea in front of you, so children may be happy. The open-air bath in the room is just the right size for one person to enter. I entered the open-air bath a short walk from the public bath early in the morning when I could see the stars. There is nothing to block the sky facing the sea, so I felt comfortable while enjoying the starry sky. The food was delicious both in the morning and evening, mainly seafood such as butter-grilled abalone and sashimi. We recommend that guests check the accommodation plan carefully. In addition, Mr. Nakai, a veteran in his 70s, took care of the meals. I felt that it was a ryokan loved by travelers in the good old days, with the appropriate amount of time in the building and the veteran Mr. Nakai.

I tried staying consecutive nights at the end of the year just before the New Year's rate increased. I've been wanting to stay at this inn for a long time because I've been curious about the unique taste of the entire building with tatami mats. [Good points] ・Wifi can be connected without stress even indoors ・Smoking is allowed indoors, which is great for smokers like us ・There are many menus for both dinner and breakfast, and the amount is more than you can eat・Almost all rooms have an ocean view and you can enjoy the scenery. I can drink it, but I couldn't drink it because it was empty when I took a bath in the morning, and I didn't check the trash can where I threw away paper cups because it was full. I gave you 3,000 yen for two nights on the first day. I think it's an inn that I can be satisfied with overall, except for the small details. Check-out is at 10:00, but I felt that if we extended the check-out time by one hour to 11:00, it would be a better place to relax in the morning.

The ryokan has a Showa retro atmosphere, and the waitress made tea for me, and all the meals were served in the room, which made me feel fresh. The food was delicious. The sea is in front of me, and the scenery from the room and the bath is good, and the walk on the sandy beach in the morning was pleasant.

The hall is tatami-matted, so it was easy to move around. Guest room is ocean view. The bath on the top floor also had a nice view. You can't see the scenery unless you stand up, so be careful. Both meals are hearty. The dinner with grilled abalone and boiled red snapper was satisfying. I think this price is very high cost performance for this class of ryokan. I would like to stay again.

It was very pleasant to warm up in the open-air bath in the room while looking out at the sea. However, it was not designed for washing hair or body, and there were no soaps or shower facilities, it was just for soaking. The bathroom did not feel very clean. In particular, the hair dryer filter was clogged with dust and I didn't feel like using it, and when the humidifier ran out of water and I took out the tank, there was a lot of reddish mold on it, and I felt sick thinking that the humidification up until then was coming from this tank!
