The modern "ryokan" is located in the center of Kanazawa in a beautiful, typical and characteristic neighborhood where you can breathe the air of authentic Japan. We were greeted at the entrance by warm and friendly staff who immediately made us feel at "home". After offering us a delicious local beer and assigning us rooms, the girl who received us proved to be very nice and kind, explaining the main points of interest in the area and recommending some excellent restaurants. As for accommodation, what can I say…. A true marvel!!! The perfect union between modernity and tradition, in a welcoming environment you can find the comforts of the present (smart TV, wi-fi, smart boiler, microwave, washing machine and much more) and the wonderful customs of the past. Wood, tatami and cork adorn all the rooms in which you can walk, strictly barefoot. A dream!! Sleeping in a futon (typical Japanese bed) was an excellent experience, I assure you that in addition to being very comfortable, it is relaxing to be able to lie down and feel the heat retained by the tatami. Last but not least the PERFECT breakfast!!! Prepared with care and precision, you can enjoy both sweet and savory and all served with fruit juice and coffee/tea. The attention to detail is nothing short of sensational and adorable, dishes plentiful and quality superlative. To conclude: wonderful place, excellent experience, recommended and absolutely worth repeating!!! ————————— The modern "ryokan" is located in the center of Kanazawa in a beautiful, typical and quaint neighborhood where you can breathe the air of authentic Japan.
