The level of hospitality matches the famed Celonese hospitality and will be remembered for long and a must experience in Sri Lanka visit..

W15 Hanthana Estate is an elegant bungalow set within beautiful grounds. The accommodation is really comfortable and the views are stunning. Equally importantly the staff are exceptionally welcoming and enthusiastic about making your stay comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to learn about and experience the Sri Lankan food and natural world. Special mention must go to Eraj and Manjula who were excellent at looking after us throughout our 6 night stay. We couldn't have felt more important, our comfort and happiness was clearly important to them. Also executive chef, Viraj who spent a lot of time with guests to make sure they were enjoying their stay and getting the food they enjoyed. We experienced many different types of Sri Lankan dishes, as well as more western dishes. The produce was beautifully presented and fresh and tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed taking part in a Sri Lankan cookery demonstration led very proficiently by chef Madushanka. Banuka, the nature ranger was so enthusiastic to share his knowledge of the local area with us and other guests during the jeep safari and hiking trips. Suragna did an excellent job of keeping our room comfortable and clean, and was so respectful. I also book a massage and facial with Udani, a visiting therapist. There is not a permanent spa at the hotel but a table will be set up in a vacant room or your own. This is the only extra cost. She performed a bit of a miracle with her deep tissue facial. I looked years younger afterwards. There are of course other people on the W15 who we didn't know so well, in the kitchen and gardens front office. Sorry not to mention them by name. But the important thing to say is each person we met had a warm smile of welcome and was doing a very good job of keeping the hotel looking gorgeous and guests feeling happy. The all inclusive was very generous. We ate and drank far more than we needed. There were Chilean wines, Australian sparkling wine, cocktails, beers and spirits. A decent coffee was available and a good tea menu.

Kangti is a mountain city, and the houses are basically built on the mountain. This hotel is actually like a resort, by the river, there are no attractions and no residents next to it. The river is flowing rapidly, the flowers are fragrant, and the sound is quite lively. Because it was only a small break in Kandy, it was set up a hotel closer to the train station. When I checked in, I was told that I was registered as a person. Breakfast is not bad, 5 knives and one person, personal feeling is not cheap.

When I opened the room, there was a musty smell. Since it was a view room with a curtain wall on the exterior, the windows could not be opened. The air conditioner had to be turned on at full power for half an hour before the musty smell gradually dissipated. The location is not far from the top of the mountain, far away from Kandy Lake, and the lake cannot be seen from the rooftop observation deck. The facilities are okay, the service attitude is okay, and the food tastes great. Overall not recommended.

The atmosphere on the first floor is very good, the buffet breakfast and dinner are okay, but the steak is a bit old, and there are many kinds of tea ☕️, but the room is still a bit small! I just didn’t expect the room to have Chinese power sockets, it should be specially designed for people from different countries in advance

The room was clean and comfortable. Sitting in the lobby and around the swimming pool is very comfortable, you can be in a daze all day long! The surrounding environment is very good. There is a lake next to the hotel and a small hill opposite. Wake up in the morning and listen to the birds singing, by the way, there are many crows here😄

This hotel is not in Kandy. It takes about an hour and a half to drive from downtown Kandy, and it is all rugged and narrow mountain roads. It seems that our drivers are accustomed to driving this kind of road, but we think that the next mountain is very troublesome, so no It is recommended that you need to go out frequently to choose this one. In addition to the location is a bit far away, the other aspects are really good to say nothing, watching the sunrise in bed early in the morning, watching the rolling mountains while swimming, and the sky and stars at night, children like it! The restaurant here is not bad, there is even a small bar to order wine, but the price is very similar to the domestic, not as cheap as the food and beverage prices in Sri Lanka.
