Ctrip's low rating makes sense
1. There are pitfalls in booking: When we arrived at the hotel, they said that we only booked 1 person, and if 2 people checked in, we had to pay the price difference, otherwise we would not be allowed to check in. We sat in the lobby for nearly 2 hours. The room rate on Ctrip that day was much lower than the price difference, so we asked if we could cancel and book again, but they said the platform did not allow it
2. Discrimination against Chinese people: Foreigners and Chinese people have welcome drinks, but we sat there for half an hour and were not given any, and the waiter pretended not to see it
3. The room is shabby: It has been open for decades, the room is dimly lit, the furniture is faded, the sofa is shabby, and the toiletries are cheap. The picture is the so-called best executive room 1000+
4. Remote location: It takes 15 minutes to drive from the center of Kandy. It is a mountain road and it is not safe to go out at night. The environment is barely acceptable, but there is nothing to eat nearby, so you can only eat buffet in the hotel
