Although it is a long journey up to this lodge it is truly worth it. The views from the tents are incredible and I had the pleasure on taking a guided walk to the "world's end". We also took a walk down into the village were we were welcomed into a home a fed well. This is just a few of the activities provided. With the infinity pool and warm welcome of the ambiance of the reception (which contained a pool table and chess) it truly was a magical stay.

It is a tricky drive to the hotel and, for us, not worth the effort. The swimming pool and view are lovely and it was a lovely experience sleeping under canvas. However, because we had terrible weather it was very noisy with the wind and rain and the tent leaked. Given that the hotel has Spa in the title, it was disappointing. The treatment menu is limited and then I was told on arrival that two treatments would not be available during my stay. The staff our lovely but when it’s raining there is not much to do. The hands on cookery lesson is an observation of cookery and whilst we had a great time learning about the food it was not as described. We love Sri Lanka but feel this is not a hotel we would return to.

We stayed in the lodge for 2 nights, if you need to recharge yourself this is the best place to do so. The view is breath taking, the food was great and the staff is just outstanding. They made us feel home thank you to Indila you’ll, kumuduni, Kushan, Kasun who made our stay special. Definitely coming back and recommending it to anybody who needs a break !

The estate is even more stunning in real life. The tents were kitted out perfectly and large. The staff were excellent. We particularly enjoyed a two hour hike we did with a guide. He was very informative. If we had realised how amazing this place was we would have stayed an extra night (we only stayed for two nights). Our son loved running around the estate, swimming, playing games etc. It was not clear on some booking websites that the tents can facilitate an extra children's bed. The only thing we would change is the wine list. It is limited and not particularly interesting wine.

A wonderful place. A magical place and a true haven of peace. We only stayed there for one day and that will be my only regret. The staff is welcoming and manages to make your all too short stay unforgettable. Thank you for your welcome and the beauty of this place.

I went with my family as the second visit to this beautiful venue after 9 months. Sadly it was regretful. Prior booking was made with an advance payment for a family tent and a deluxe tent . However the resort was unaware of the reservation and we had to wait hour or so until the rooms are prepared. Instead of a family tent, 2 separate deluxe tents were arranged. Following inquiry about the tents and the charges adding more frustration, 4 of us had to move to a family tent after 2 hour stay in separate deluxe rooms. Nobody was there to guide or carry our baggages to the new room. We also had to ask for the new room key (came as picture attached below). Room arrangements were below par with a broken chair in balcony and ants filled kettle. Food quality was commendable despite exiguous restaurant service. One restaurant attendant attempted to trick us with a bogus extra bill. Deluxe room was attacked by monkeys during breakfast time which was acceptable but room service was again late to attendant until all 6 of us ended staying in the family tent. So 9/10 experience in first stay ended up in 5/10 in second visit. I hope restaurant management will go through review to arrange necessary adjustments.Indeed it is a marvellous location with exceptional panoramic view of mountain hills and tea estate.

Super nice to stay for 4 nights. The tents are great and very nice, however, some might need a new zip-lock. The place is quiet and has a beautiful nature around. The road to the hotel is horrible and must be fixed, especially the last 3 km took our driver 30min. At last the food is okay. Sri Lanka chef making western food is a good enough, but not western food. The food prices are reasonable and there is a lot of different hiking tours to go with. The hotel is a long way from many places, so come and stay for a few days, but do not plan to many trips.

Be careful! Nothing is as it seems on the hotel's online portals! No WiFi in the entire resort. Everything was dirty and outdated. The food was bad. The spa was a disaster! Rats and frogs in the spa. There was blood everywhere on the floor of the hotel, so you couldn't walk barefoot or go into the pool. The road to the hotel was completely broken! We had to walk 3km with our suitcases because no taxi driver would take us there! Never again!

Remarkable resort at the end of the road, in a tea plantation facing the Knuckles massif. The tents are spacious, well equipped and sufficiently isolated from each other to enjoy the calm only disturbed by the song of the wind and the birds! The view was extraordinary from our terrace. We took advantage of the "experiences" organized on the site: an introduction to Yoga with Sadaruwan, a master with amazing postures, a brilliant local cooking class with the chef and his team, a bird-watching hike and a high-quality Ayurvedic massage. . A perfect place for a change of scenery
