1800 Atlantic Suites

We stayed at the Frost Free apartment complex at 1800 Atlantic in Key west for a week in early May. While the condo could have been wonderful the lack of update suggests they are not maintaining the unit, expecially for the money they are charging 1) Furniture is just worn out. Anyone sitting in the couch or living room chairs sinks well into it. They were very uncomfortable 2) Master Bedroom floor is bubbling up and the flooring has gaps where the floor boards do not meet 3) The alarm system doubles as the thermostat. Without clear instructions it was difficult to know if we were setting off the alarm or changing the temperature 4) The complex is recycling, the unit instructions ask you to recycle, but the unit does not supply a container to recycle. Very frustrating 5) Master bedroom shower is more like a mini pool and is difficult to maneuver safely 6) Master Bed was like a rock to sleep on 7) Can opener was from the 50's and did not work, and no manual can opener was supplied 8) The stove markings are all worn and you cannot tell which burner is which 9) The Louvered blinds easily fell off if you adjusted them 10 Main TV has cable, bedroom TVs are Samsung TV only. Saves cable boxes I guess The pool was the bright spot for this trip, but the cost was not worth it. The maintenance folks were responsive to our needs, another brightspot, but the owners/management need to invest in the facility. It is overpriced and under maintained

This condo was very good for my family of 4- 2 adults and 2 adult kids. The location was great. I walked to the corner sandwich shop each morning for Cuban coffee! Good sandwiches also. Also Brady’s Irish Pub was within easy walking distance( 0.3 miles). They have great sports bar food and a great environment. The swimming pool is super large and deep- 9 feet, and very well maintained, as is all the property- so beautifully landscaped. We rented bikes and went to all our excursions. I was glad to stay here, as it is away from the crazy, but just an easy bike ride away to everything.

Two day visit. Nice property. Pool is large with a great gulf view. The2-bedroom condo was clean and spacious, though it could use a bit of updating. Parking is secure, as is access to the living spaces. Well maintained. Definitely a good property to rent for a visit.

AA cancelled our connecting flight to Kew West. American Airlines told us earliest flight was 2 1/2 days later. No rooms in Charlotte (ncaa weekend). No car rentals. We were stranded! Slept on airport floor. We chose to get a flight home. Not even partial refund 10k lost. Julia Besson is one to avoid

The 1800 Atlantic complex is great. However, being harassed by Security, pool, hot tub closes at sunset is ridiculous. Too many other choices. The reputation of the poor Security Management at this place is disappointing. Get a life and in tune with your customers.

First trip to the Florida Keys. A surprise for my wife's 50th birthday. Great room (#334). Very clean and nicely furnished. Our contact person for our trip was Monique Griffin with Last Key Realty. She added so many little extras which truly made our stay great. She goes above and beyond to assist guest. She stayed in contact and made sure we had everything we needed. The property was great. The trip was a huge success. Definitely recommend this property, ESPECIALLY need to ask for Monique. She's the best. Thanks for everything!!!

We stayed at a privately owned condo at this facility and it was fabulous. The property was well maintained and clean. Parking could be a little tight at times (a few spots were filled with landscaping materials I believe while we were there) but it did not hinder our trip. The pool was spacious and plenty of chair options. My daughter enjoyed visiting the library room to do some homework during our stay. Very close to Smather's Beach and just far enough away from the touristy areas.

Let's talk about that amazing balcony! We rented Tim’s Penthouse on VRBO. Deserving of the 5 star reviews! Much better than the pictures online. It's impossible to describe the massive balcony and the views from it. You literally could not get any closer unless you were in the water. And the balcony is MASSIVE! Every room has access to it. And, because it's on a corner, it's very private - even from the other rooms in the unit! Kitchen is fully stocked. New appliances and everything you need to grill, stay in for meals or just have snacks and drinks in hand. This is our first time in Key West and despite loving Duval Street, it is very hard to leave the condo on a beautiful evening to go out. The entire family is really loving to be together and enjoying the amenities, views, and large living room/kitchen to gather. Having the kids (15-18 years) actually wanting to hang with us and us all be together is priceless! Washer and dryer were sooooo convenient. Because we knew there was one in the unit, our family of six traveled with carry-on only for a week in Florida. And, we still overpacked! That's saying a lot coming from a family who usually looks like Lampoons family vacation when we go to Europe with all of our oversized, overstuffed bags! The location is awesome. A bit too far to walk into town if it's crazy hot (and it is!). So, we rented a golf cart and we are just far enough from the crazy downtown but close enough to go back-and-forth whenever we would like. Also, close to Publix to stock up when we need to. And, you are RIGHT ON Smathers Beach! The pool for the property is absolutely massive. One of the best I have ever seen in a condo complex. Right on the beach too! Same with the hot tub. Extra large. Powerful jets. There are also many grills and tables for you to be able to grill and enjoy by the pool. And a gym. The maintenance people, and the security are extremely hospitable. Very welcoming. The shower pressure in the big shower in the master bedroom is amazing after a long day of sunscreen and bug spray. We have our teenagers with us. I sent them for fishing poles and bait and we bought saltwater fishing licenses. (Don't try to fish without them in the Keys!) They have been out on the jetty for hours and hours every day fishing. They are catching sharks and tarpon and smaller fish that they have brought up to eat. Truly an amazing property and well taken care of! We will definitely be back!

1800 Atlantic was a really good find. We stayed in unit C432. The views were out of this world beautiful. Condo was recently updated and the beds were so comfortable. We even had our own assigned parking space, which was really nice. We had one minor maintenance issue and by the time returned in the evening, they had it fixed. All Florida Keys Property was exceptional to work with. Would recommend this unit to anyone looking to stay in Key West
