Just OK to stay for 1 night. The room was really too small - imagine the sink could not fit into the bathroom and was located outside the bathroom. And, there were many many small ants all over the room and crawling on all the walls. We had arrived at 12pm and we had to wait for a long time for someone to turn up at reception. Then one lady arrived and checked for a long time only to tell us our room was not ready. Then, she said she would call us when our room was ready. Anyway, she lied as she did not call us at all. We turned up again at 3pm and got our room which was full of ants. I still gave a 4-star rating because of its good location where we could walk everywhere after parking our car. There was a car park behind (hourly meter paid via Touch n Go) or there were 3 free bays right outside the hotel. We tried to go to that cafe in the hotel which supposedly opened at 8am for breakfast. We arrived at 8am but the 2 ladies just refused to take our order as they said their order was not open yet. Then the guy from reception went to make his own coffee and at 8.10am we still could not order. Not sure why they were just not interested so we left and went to have breakfast in another hotel which ended up to be nicer and cheaper.

Very amazing newly built hotel, near to the drawbridge and shopping malls. Comfortable bed, nice receptionist and the plus plus point is the bedding and price. Two queen sized bed for a great deal price. Carpark is always full but we managed to get a place. Recommended! Book direct with them to get a better deal.

Rooms are not soundproof. Can be abit annoying if thereโs kids running around outside.

During the Raya week, we went to Permai Hotel KT for a staycation. We really enjoyed it. The hotel room was clean and recently renovated. The kids love the comfortable bed and the swimming pool. The room comes with 2 complimentary breakfast for adults and extra fees for kids older than 4 years old. Thereโre lots of options for breakfast, including typical Malaysian nasi, noodles, cereals, kuih, fruits and salad. We also took dinner there. We ordered pastas and they were served with lots of seafood and vegetables. Between, I guess the sauce was mostly made from scratch. And the ingredients were fresh. The taste was awesome. My younger one is always picky with food. Yet she couldnโt stop eating her pasta and other orders ๐ The quality of the food far exceeds the standard for a 3 star hotel. Also, all the food was reasonably priced. With RM170 per night for a superior room, I think the experience and quality far exceed what it should deliver ๐. If youโre looking for a comfortable yet reasonably priced stay in Kuala Terengganu town., I highly recommend this hotel. And my only regret? GGuest UserThe resort and the entire staff are just amazing. If you are looking for an island get away - this is the place to be. The private beach is stunning, and no needs and demands were left unsatisfied. The rooms are clean and tidy and the beds are extremely comfortable. Just bear in mind that the island pretty much consists of this resort, especially during monsoon season. There is not much else to do (except for snorkeling and diving) - itโs overall beautiful if youโre looking for relaxation in paradise.

Back then, service was friendly, room was nice and clean, aircon was functioning like it should. Perhaps blame it on covid restrictions past 2 years. Blame it on low cash flow to do maintenance. Blame it on lack of motivated staff. Truth is, this hotelโs standard has gone down. Broken, poor maintained room, unmotivated & deary staff working, moldy & poorly cleaned bathroom.. I can go on but you can probably get the picture. Pity, it was great back in 2019 but I wonโt be returning.

IILzThe resort location is a bit far for Kuala Terengganu but close enough if you just came from Pulau Redang. Itโs a very beautiful place with great sunrise view from its private beach and even my room. The place has been refurbished and brightened up as compared to when it was under the previous management when i heard many spooky stories regarding the place. Theyโve just added horse riding to itโs activities around the resort. The staff were all friendly but they need to pay more attention to detail when doing housekeeping. Floor was sticky and i had to call them to reclean the room which they attended to really quickly upon my request. Also in another room that i booked they forgot to replenish the towels after the previous guests checked out.
The breakfast was really cheap for RM20 buffet and had many varieties. The kuih muih and noodle soup was really delicious but the nasi lemak and fried beehoon were tasteless and dry. The sambal was great though. I hope they can remain consistent with the cooking. Seems like there were too many hands doing the cooking. Overall i would come here to chill and escape the hustle and bustle of city life but Iโll probably bring my own food
