Really nice and friendly owner. He let us extend our check out time to 14:00 and was very chill about it. The location is very convenient as well as it's right next to the central train station. There are many restaurants right outside the building as well so that's also a nice addition.

As per photos bed are a bit awkward as you are so close one another and there are no curtains. The room was small, bathroom not very clean. Staff was really nice and welcoming! Super convenient as less than 10mins walk to train station! Would recommend as a one night stay if you need to catch an early train!

I stayed at his house for a few days. I shared a room with someone at night. My phone was on until 2 or 3 in the morning. The boss also protected people who disturbed my rest and mocked me for having neurasthenia. Although he helped me change hotels, I gave a normal evaluation based on the real and objective situation. After knowing the evaluation, the boss insulted my parents first and signaled the store manager to lure me with a free meal, but I did not accept the refund. He asked me to deal with the problem twice. It was because he did not manage well and did not consider the guests' experience of staying in the hotel. He also forced me to deal with it in this way. I hope the official will conduct a strict investigation!

Owner is very helpful, came to pick me up because as a foreigner I had trouble finding the address. What's more, I arrived very late, after midnight (my train had been cancelled) and I couldn't tell him what time i would arrive in Kunming. The location is very near the train station, so this is very convenient. Can use a shared kitchen. Dormitory clean and quiet, privacy guaranteed with curtain. Bed is a mix between capsule and bunk bed. There's even a private shelf for your belongings, i really appreciate that.Feel like a small single room. Unfortunately, i stayed only one night. While the property is safe (access with code), i just missed a locker. Common room with comfortable sofas to meet others travelers, have a chat, and socialize. I recommend this hostel. This will be my place when going back to Kunming.

A nice and well located place. The host provided me with many recommendations for places to see and where to eat.
To enter the building I did have to call the host, so if you don't have a Chinese number you might need to ask someone to call him for you.

Good location of 5mins walk to Kunming Train station, perfect for travellers of early rides. Restaurants, cafe, eateries, mini markets, all least 50+ outlets are within 1-5 mins walk, bus stops are 2 mins walk, accessible to almost all famous scenic locations . Homestay unit is of good wifi signal, hot water shower, clean sheets, water boiler for coffee and hairdryer. Host is responsive to text messages and helpful, safe choice for Solo female backpacker. Highly recommend!

To be honest, it's average. Although it can accommodate foreign tourists and I did meet foreigners, the environment is really average. It's even like a unit dormitory or a collective dormitory, messy, and the toilet smells bad. There is no youth hostel atmosphere, and no one talks.
