Arrived after midnight at kunming international airport, gave the hotel a call and they immediately arranged for pickup (in less than 10mins). Affordable room with all the basic necessities for a quick night rest, with water dispenser inside the room. Unfortunately the air conditioning in the room couldnt be used and they werent able to change our rooms.
Took their shuttle service the next day to the airport and we managed to get on the airport shuttle to kunming train station in about 45mins.

It's OK for one night. There is a shuttle bus to the airport, which runs every few minutes. The hotel is an old hotel, and the decoration and quilts and carpets show the traces of time. The noise of the planes flying over can be heard at night.
If you have an early flight the next day, it's suitable to stay here for one night, and it can be used as a temporary base.
