Best Hotels near Pankun Department Store, Kunming

The hotel service is very good and the transportation is convenient. The outside looks ordinary but the rooms are good. However, the facilities need to be improved. The shower nozzle cannot be adjusted at night and can only be sprayed towards the door. However, the seal of the bathroom door is not good and water leaks all over the outside. The hygiene is not careful enough, there is dust accumulation in some places, and there are short hair stubbles on the pillows on the bed that do not belong to us.

The location is very close to all the major shopping areas. There is central heating but not temperature is not too warm. The bedroom has a wall that shield you from the bathroom. Minor drawback is the electric outlet in the bathroom and desk area not practically located. The better walk to the hotel is from Dongfeng Guangchang metro station.

We have really enjoyed our 8 days stay at Horizon Hotel Yunnan, which has excellent facilities and very convenient location. We had a great 3 nights stay at the hotel. The location is wonderful, situated in a shopping mall, just a short walk to the old town, lots of eateries nearby, very convenient. The room is very clean, very spacious. All the staffs there are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at Golden Eagle Summit Hotel Kunming if we were to go back to Kunming again.

The Hotel is located in the center of Kunming. Two metro lines just nearly. One line direct deserve the airport and the other one direct rich the south railway station. By foot one can go to the historical city center. We booked the suite 2026 which is very spacious with big windows, overview the city. The decoration is outdated. The bed is pretty old. Sometimes the AC doesn’t work well. Breakfast is very good. All the stuff are very helpful and friendly. Overall is not a real 5 stars hotel but the price is very fair for what you get.
