I booked the hotel without knowing the location of the hotel. The hotel is far away from the center of the city, it won’t be a good choice for people who want to tour around in the city. When I found out how far the hotel was away from the tourist attractions , I
was frustrated and stressed. Instead of getting the help and information I needed in that situation, the female staff at the reception with glasses was not helpful or friendly. Instead
she made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. She certainly indicated that no further information would be forthcoming. Otherwise, the hotel itself was clean and modern.

I had a very pleasant stay at Yinfan Dalian. The location is convenient, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall environment was peaceful and relaxing. The front desk staff were especially polite and helpful, always ready to assist with a warm attitude. The breakfast spread was excellent, offering a wide variety of tasty options. Housekeeping also did a great job—very attentive and efficient. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Dalian.

Excellent customer service from arrival to check out. Staff were prepared & expecting my check in. They able to identify me and greeted me warmly. Registration was efficient and quick. I was escorted to my rooms with my luggage assisted by a male staff(姓谷). Throughout my 7 nights stay, he always greeted me w a smile and unfailingly polite whether at reception lobby or at breakfast( helping me get my coffee and recommending additionals) In fact, all the staff were always courteous when I passed them, giving me directions when approached, offering an umbrella when it was raining on my way out & thus making me feel welcome in Dalian.
The location is right in the heart of Kaifaqu shopping zone and all within walking distance.
I love the 2nd floor lobby layout with free beverages, comfy seats and even a long informal conference table seatings for impromptu meetings. Attractively arranged fruit platters delivered daily to my room always made me smile upon my return and made my day. I would definitely choose Orange Hotel if I return to Dalian.

My first day's check-in experience, the front desk service, and the overall ambiance were all excellent, which is why I chose to extend my stay for another night in the same room. During my two days in Dalian, I visited Russian Style Street, Laodong Park, Discoveryland, Venice Water Town, and Xinghai Square. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located right next to Wanda Plaza in the Development Zone! I'd definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Dalian.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, all vegetarian, but incredibly tasty! As a late riser, I struggled to eat it, but it was well worth it. The room was elegant and clean, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were amazing. There were lots of plants. It's very convenient to have a shopping mall next door. It was a bit noisy during the holiday, though, as there were events going on early in the day. The hotel was fantastic, and I'd definitely stay there again. It's also close to Dalian North Station, making it a quick taxi ride away. If I ever visit Dalian, I'd definitely stay there again! The service was also excellent.

This Ibis seems to be the newest, with a great environment and is very stylish! The front desk lady was very friendly and provided a refreshing drink. The hotel is very close to Wanda Plaza and Ansheng, so it is very convenient to order takeout. The room was really very clean, and the complimentary drip coffee was very good! Finally, I would like to praise the breakfast, which has many varieties, especially the clam noodles. It is so satisfying to eat a bowl in the morning! I will come again next time~

I recently stayed at Somerset Grand Central Dalian and had a truly pleasant experience. The service in every aspect was excellent, and all the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The front desk, especially Cathy, was efficient and provided clear and concise explanations, making the check-in process smooth. Housekeeping was done daily and kept the room clean and well maintained. Breakfast was enjoyable as well. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely return in the future.

The hotel service was fantastic; they promptly addressed all my needs. They even offered a complimentary late check-out, which was a nice touch. The location is superb, right next to the train station, making transportation super convenient. Plus, it's close to Dalian Shopping Mall, Zhongyuan Snack Street, Intime City, and very near the subway station. I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance!

GGuest UserI arrived at approximately 2:00 PM, and although my room was not yet cleaned due to the holiday period, I understood the situation. I checked into Room 232, the 270-degree sea view room, which was the highest available category at the time of booking.
Unfortunately, several issues significantly affected our stay. The condition of the room facilities was disappointing. In the first bathroom, the flush button was loose and partially detached, and there were visible cracks on the wall. In the second bathroom inside the sea-view bedroom, the door stopper was detached and the drainage system did not function properly.
Additionally, the glass panel near the wardrobe had a long crack, which made us uncomfortable using the area as we were concerned about causing further damage. Most importantly, the refrigerator was not functioning. Although a technician came on the first day and informed us that there was no power supply, no proper resolution was provided. On the second day, another technician was arranged, but we had to wait for a long time, which disrupted our travel plans. Eventually, we were informed that the refrigerator could not be used temporarily. As my family stayed for three nights, this meant we were unable to use the refrigerator for the entire stay and had to leave items with the reception, which was very inconvenient and did not reflect the value of the room.
Regarding cleanliness, the first day was satisfactory. However, on the second day, the housekeeping service appeared rushed. There were hair strands left in the room, and the bed was not properly made — the bed cover was simply pulled over without proper arrangement, and the bedding looked untidy and wrinkled. I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness standards.
Furthermore, the booking was made for three guests, yet only two glasses were provided in the room. There was no tea available, only bottled water. Communication via WeChat was also quite slow when requesting assistance.
On a positive note, the room view was beautiful, the location is excellent, and the staff who assisted us before check-in were helpful. The room design and view are truly impressive. However, after check-in, the overall experience did not meet expectations. Additionally, the mirrors in the room had noticeable stains.
I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration for service improvement. Thank you for your attention.

I stayed at 3 different hotels, and I honestly think the Hard Rock Hotel deserves a great review. The front desk staff was enthusiastic and very meticulous, and check-in was exceptionally fast. Then, a staff member named 'Yi Yang Qian Xi' (a playful reference to a celebrity, likely implying excellent service) helped carry my luggage to the room, which I found very thoughtful and considerate. Both the hotel's hardware and software aspects left me very satisfied! The key thing is, during the May Day holiday, among hotels in the average price range of 800-1000, the Hard Rock Hotel truly stands out in all aspects. Whether it's the location, the hotel facilities, or the staff's service attitude and professionalism, everything was excellent. This is my genuine review, not a insincere one written to get discounts or gifts, but a true reflection of my stay!

GGuest UserMy friend and I were traveling during a holiday, laden with bags, and I was worried about long queues for check-in. Lisa, knowing we were on vacation, was incredibly thoughtful. She specifically arranged a non-smoking floor room for us and proactively told us where to find popular local snacks, bubble tea shops, and shopping areas near the hotel. She clearly explained taxi routes and walking directions and even reminded us to be careful when going out at night. She was truly as considerate as a friend.
Walking into the room, I was immediately impressed. The cleanliness was impeccable, the room was spacious, and the layout was cozy and comfortable, creating a great vibe for photos, perfect for a girls' trip. Throughout our stay, whenever we saw Lisa entering or exiting the hotel, she would always greet us with a smile. When we needed disposable items or extra bottles of water on short notice, we just mentioned it to the front desk, and Lisa would immediately help us out. Her attitude was consistently excellent – patient and thorough, never perfunctory. The hotel's cleaning staff were also very diligent, tidying the room on time every day, making the beds, replenishing supplies, and keeping everything spotless.
Lisa is such a gentle, warm, and detail-oriented person who always puts guests first. Her service was exceptionally thoughtful and down-to-earth, making our stay incredibly comfortable and reassuring. The Shangri-La's location is also very convenient, whether you're going to the airport or attractions. My bestie and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit this area!

WWdayanjingI came to Dalian alone for the 2026 Dalian Marathon and booked this hotel on Trip.com. I couldn't have been luckier! The marathon's start and finish lines are right downstairs, and my room number even coincidentally matched the last digits of my phone number, which made me really happy. The room was super clean, and all the toiletries were excellent, single-use items 👍👍. Plus, it was a proper sea-view room. I could see the starting arch where I'd begin my race and the Donggang seaside attractions from upstairs. If I ever come back to Dalian, I'll definitely choose this hotel again. Hhongyanliu56Participated in the Dalian Marathon. This was my second time visiting Dalian, and just like my previous trip during the 2019 Qingming holiday, I stayed at the InterContinental. The location is super convenient, with a subway station right outside. I usually head towards Zhongshan Square Station, but on checkout day, the doorman, the guy with the long hair in a ponytail, recommended Friendly Square Station and even walked me to the intersection. I really appreciated that! The hotel breakfast was fantastic and had a great variety, including Dalian specialties like sea cucumber porridge with rice and kidney bean clam noodles, plus roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), wraps, and fried dough sticks. I got to try them all! Housekeeping was very prompt; every day I'd leave in the morning and come back in the afternoon to a clean room. The bathroom was spacious and well-lit. The only minor downside was that the room didn't have a main overhead light, making it a bit dim.

GGuest UserI originally booked a king-size bed room without windows, but when I checked in, the front desk lady upgraded me to a family room for free. It has an extra-large double bed and a single bed. The room is large and well decorated. It is very close to Xi'an Road subway station. The price/performance ratio is great. I will stay here again next time. I highly recommend it.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel accepts foreigners. Great location, a walking distance from Dalian Station, essentially on Zhongshan Square. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was good, there's even a washing machine (didn't use it though). The staff was kind and helpful. Perhaps the only problem was that the room card didn't work, so I had to get a password, which also expired daily at midnight, and I had to contact the reception to get a new one. But that's not how it's supposed to be, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Overall, a great option.
