Good location, No room service available. The location is good and accessible near the city centre but the room was not sound proof enough and there was noise from the surrounding street coming into room even at fourth floor which was annoying.
Football, shopping, nightlife, culture - Premier Inn Middlesbrough Town Centre has it all nearby. Cheer on your team at Riverside Stadium, see the glorious views from Roseberry Topping, go birdwatching in the wetlands at RSPB Saltholme or discover Middlesbrough's Victorian heritage at the Dorman Museum. I was a bit apprehensive staying in what is described as Student accommodation especially as someone in their 60’s but I needn’t have worried. The building is very secure requiring the fob on your room key to get through at least 3 security doors to get to the room which is basic but clean and en suite. The accommodation is opposite the only Wetherspoons in town and about 15 mins walk from the station. So overall I would say the place is well worth the budget price charged

Stayed in a twin with my son for the football for convenience, only one of everything ( towel / cup etc ) as in they wrongly assumed 1 person was staying there. Very , very average warm / cold breakfast was served the next day. For the money it's a good location and free parking.

They had a simple answer ‘No’ for everything.
Can I check in 30 mins early? No. Pay £15 extra. Paid!
Laundry service available? No
Microwave available to heat food in the restaurant? No
It’s a very basic hotel. Not recommended for families. Asked to clean the room; they forgot to inform the cleaner. Even when they cleaned the room the next day, they just changed the linen. Everything else was as is. Poor experience overall

Great
GGuest UserI visited some years ago and the hotel was tired and dinghy.
The hotel however has been completely transformed in 2025 and is now very chic, clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
Our room had been fully renovated with new bed and furniture and the en suite had a double size shower and a bath.
The restaurant was bright and modern with some self service for cereal and table service for cooked breakfast.
There was ample parking and the adjoining tearoom served a variety of teas and coffees as well as delicious cakes and snacks.
The North York moors are just a few minutes drive and Stokesley is the nearest town with good amenities.
A great place for a weekend break.
GGuest UserWe booked the family room as visiting friends in the village. Well the room was more like a an apartment, with a separate room with two single beds for the kids. Lovely decor and nice bedding. The rooms were immaculate and fitted out to a high standard. Charming views of the river. We had a lovely evening meal downstairs. If you try the speciality Parmo, be warned that a whole one is definitely one for those with a big appetite. The location is great with an easy walk to local shops and centre of the village. The continental breakfast was also very generous and set us up for the day. In summary, we were really impressed with the rooms and would definitely book again for our next visit and would highly recommend it. Thank you to all the team at The Buck.
AAnonymous UserThe accommodation was lovely and very clean, the only problem was that the staircase to upstairs was so tiny and steep, it was quite difficult getting my luggages up the stairs.
Also I was made to pay a deposit of £50.00 before my code was given to me to unlock the door for entry.
I was told that it would be refunded the next day after check out, it's been a week after I checked out but I haven't recieved any refund.
JJithiI like the ambience and inside, we can't access the WIFI and Television
But still enjoyed
Only problem i faced is some one always knocked our door, but we we open the door can't see anyone.
全全世界浪The location is very good, the hotel feels newly renovated and the room is warm and unexpected. All IKEA new furniture, very good, no meals at the time of booking, free breakfast on site is an accident. . .
