Don't be fooled by the 4.5 rating, because I certainly was! The only thing this hotel offers is big rooms! And not much else! The location is a big disadvantage, because all the main attractions are far away. You would either have to get a taxi every time, or rent a car or scooter. Car is better because of the distances, but it's more expensive. We were very happy that the hotel offers scooter rentals. However, sometimes the scooters are all in use, so then you're stuck. We were only able to get a scooter from our second day at the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Back to the rooms - they had white lighting, which is a bit tasteless and makes it a bit too casual. You can fix that with the bedside lamps, though. The rooms also have mini fridges, which is always a plus point. My main issue was the bathroom; the placement / height of the wash basin, with the tiny shelf directly on top of the faucet - barely giving any space in between - was VERY uncomfortable to use. There is a normal way in which things are meant to be positioned, but this was completely absurd. The toilet and shower were all *one* area, albeit big. No boundaries, no borders, no cut-off point separating the two. So when you shower, the whole bathroom floor gets wet - and stays that way. I wouldn't have minded, had they provided wipers. The toilet paper was not great quality, and its holder was worse - when trying to put the roll in, it broke in the first instance. The toilet seat was slightly flimsy. The shower pressure was good, but the water not as hot as desired - despite keeping the geyser on the whole time. There was no proper space to keep things like shampoo. Breakfast: They have the shortest breakfast timings I've seen at any hotel 😂, namely 8am-10am (two hours). It is served inside the room. They give us a choice from four local items (from which we have to choose *one* for each day), plus toast & butter/jam, plus tea or coffee. We have to make the tea/coffee ourselves with the kettle in our room. They already apply the butter/jam on the toast for you, which is good for lazy people like me. And it was quite tasty! The local items were okay; it varies from palate to palate, whether one would like them or not. I liked three out of four, though they were quite oily. All that said, it was THE most basic breakfast I've ever had at any hotel. It only works as a preventive measure from going crazy with hunger right when you get up in the morning 😂 Speaking of food - because of the location of the place, there are no restaurants you can get to by foot (as far as I know), and even GrabFood Delivery had very limited options (we survived on ordering McDonalds for lunch). One good thing was that, unlike other hotels, there was a water dispenser in the lobby, free to use whenever we wanted. Hence, we never ran out of water. Great location on the beach in the middle however, there is a fire show on the beach every night and the music is super loud and played until 1am. Basic hotel but clean and affordable, breakfast was really good with a large selection.

I had a wonderful time here. However i was abit dissapointed at first because initially booked the standard seaview room and when i arrived the room was old and dusty. So i upgraded to premier (had to add RM300 for two rooms) and it was 100% better than the standard one. It is a newly renovated room & the view was spectular especially during morning. My room had a huge balcony with connecting door to my other room. My advice is for you to pay abit more and get the premier room instead. Trust me, it’ll be so worth it. The services were great too! Check in was smooth since we arrived quite late. We call in advance to inform our eta arrival later than expected due to flight delayed. We got bee building facing the sea. Everything inside the room is clean. Tv channel have astro. Malibest is well known for its location, in the middle busy street Chenang and its hospitality and well clean room! So far it meet my expectation. Just one thing, the hotel parking too limited. Overall, this place will be my favourite place to stay in langkawi sith affordable price.

The hotel is located in a conveninet location, within walking distance to the Lagenda park and Eagle square-- which are a must see. I walked there twice in about 15- 20 minutes; it would cost about 10 RM by Grab taxi. Some rooms have a good view of the Maha tower and the bay --the tower lights up at night and is really beautiful. The bed is quite comfortable and the WIFI is very strong . The shower and hot water runs alright . The staff, Dan, was very helpful and helped me to complete my itinerary . I was travelling alone, but there were families there as well . It is budget friendly but the amenties exceeded my expectations. Of course it is not luxurious, but the rooms are clean. I enjoyed my stay.

my husband and i really loves the hotels. the staff are very friendly from the moment we arrived. we get early checkin and upgrade room 😍. the environment very peaceful, the room is very clean. the foods for iftar ramadan really great and delicious. apam balik freshly made. the coconut ice cream is delicious. main dishes also very delicious. the live band also very nice. i can say that, we fall in love with the hotel. Definitely will repeat again!

Staying at the hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming, the room immaculate with a stunning view, and the amenities were top-notch. The breakfast buffet so sar ok, and the pool provided perfect relaxation. Every interaction was marked by warmth and professionalism, making our visit truly memorable and Wednesday have pasar malam very and this pasar malam very close to this hotel😚

Pool It's open and public we to swim, it's really relaxing and plus music surround the pool, safe. Room Convenience all equipment provides, comfortable bed, fantasy heaven view, love it indeed. The location of the hotel is perfect for travellers who like to stay by the beach and experience a beautiful view of the ocean. The beach is a hop skip and jump away and also has direct access from the hotel room. All sight seeing locations are equidistant and easily reachable. Added advantage is its proximity to the airport. The hotel staff are kind, friendly and cheerful. There was a slight confusion with my room allocation, but it was swiftly managed by the reception staff who upgraded me to a room with sea view. The swimming pool is clean and well maintained. The hotel did offer only breakfast in its restaurant. It would have been an added advantage if they had a fully functional kitchen as it is hard to find food (especially for a vegetarian) close by.

The room is huge, the hotel is in a green area, it’s a long way to get there, at night there are frogs, birds and all that. You need to spend the night). There is no cafe here, you can only eat by delivery or go somewhere. You carry your suitcases yourself, both up the stairs and high up (there is no elevator). Clean air and the absence of sweltering heat have big advantages for this place. The bass is small, but ok. Clean, beautiful and good.
