My husband and I booked the Sherman King room since there were no suites available, but we were not disappointed in the room! It had everything we needed and our only complaint was the sink was TINY! Everything was beautifully updated and SUPER clean! For a building that was built in 1853, it was cleaner than any brand new place! We stayed for two nights and ate at the restaurant both nights because the food was so good. Due to COVID restrictions, they only had danish, granola bar, juice and coffee upon request for breakfast. We went to the Bier Hall both nights were they had live music, good array of beers and a selection of bar snacks made to order. I would've like to had some polka music, but I understand the hotel is catering to the locals during this tough time. They have a store on site with limited hours, but we were able to call and were met quickly for a ”private opening” with who we later found out was one of the owners, Peyton. She was so helpful and great throughout our stay! George the bartender was very personable and gave us tips on food, drinks and all of the activities to check out around town. We will definitely be back with some friends next time! *The business was very respectful of the COVID regulations and like I said it was really clean! Don't let it deter you from going!
