We hadden een kamer gevraagd niet in oud gedeelte ,we zaten in oud gedeelte heel veel trappen zonder lift is niet doenbaar,we zaten dan nog gans bovenaan. Het eten in italiaans restaurant is heel lekker !!! Het eten in restaurant is goed , ontbijt ook maar geen afwisseling. Personeel niet zo vriendelijk.De kamer was proper maar badkamer vrij klein. We vroegen eens wat ijs voor op de kamer voor in wat drank moesten 1€ betalen voor vervroren water vind ik er wat over.

Stayed here for a week and while Limone is a beautiful town on Lake Garda, this hotel is stuck in a different time. Its dated approach was out of date in the 1990s. We upgraded to one of the Blumen Villa rooms with a lake view. The room was modern but basic and let down by cracked tiles and shower tray in the bathroom. Apart from a small TV, there was a small fridge which didnt work. Not really worth a ‘Superior’ upgrade. The common areas of the hotel are very old fashioned and outdated. The pool areas are nice and open, but only one had a pool bar, from which you can’t get drinks and food to eat or drink in the pool areas. This is a half board hotel and this was where the real let down was for us. We love Italian food, but the hotel clearly caters for a certain type of guest, Elderly German Bus Trip Tourists & the menu reflects that. The dining room is large and has the atmosphere of a 1980’s M62 service area. Food was cold, bland and poor quality. Yes there is free house wine & beer but meal times where like school dinners, get in there, get it done and out again. There is an Italian Restaurant, which has to be booked, but again its a buffet and choices were bland apart from the pizzas. We visited at the end of the season so Limone was starting quieten down so outside the hotel there was little to do on an evening. We did attend an evening’s entertainment in the ‘Music Room’… think Phoenix Night’s Fever Dream & you have the idea! Guy on an electric piano pretending to play while signing Elvis & German covers. Others have mentioned the location up a steep hill. We didn’t have an issue. Others will and while the hotel does have a shuttle bus, charging 2 Euro each way for elderly guests (clearly your target market) was disappointing. Good points, staff nice & helpful but stop somewhere else.

Visited for one week in Sept and as the hotel is up a fairly steep hill from Limone the views from the room were very impressive but overall our experience was one of disappointment. We stayed on half board basis and first night ate in main restaurant and were disappointed with choices and quality of the food available which was warm but not hot. The following nights we ate in the Italian restaurant and although the pasta dishes were ok there were limited other choices of once again warm but not hot food. There is no show cooking in the restaurant so there were no fish dishes available during the week. On a positive note the staff in the restaurant were very helpful and efficient. There is a snack bar which offered decent dishes at lunchtime. The hotel does not provide facilities in the room to make a hot drink which again was quite surprising and very disappointing.

Coming to the end of our 2 week stay here Upon arrival we were shown to our room which was across the road from reception , we upgraded to a superior room to which I was very disappointed with . The room is very basic , no kettle or tea making facilities , no pool towels . The noisiest fridge I’ve ever had . Only nice thing is probably the views from balcony Before unpacking we went back to reception to ask if we had been given the correct room as I was so very disappointed in spending extra for a superior room, was told yes ! The kettle was £€20 to hire and towels £€20 and they are so thin and small The food at breakfast is fairly good with lots of choices but the hot food always cold Dinner I don’t find so good, hot food always cold If you go past 7.30pm the desserts are depleted and a mess. Bar food at lunch time is far better and good service Tried the Italian restaurant once but not to our liking and had a few breakfast too but found the unfriendliness of the man in charge very rude The cleanliness is very good everywhere and the maid service in room excellent We found the Germans take priority in this hotel and once a coach load of ppl arrived they dominated the whole dining room making meal times uncomfortable We wouldn’t choose this hotel again

Don't come here for peace and quiet, they put a big speaker near the pool right below our lake view balcony, and they won't turn it off. It seems the new normal here. The dinner is buffet and nothing is hot, I rush to my table and try and eat quickly as possible before it's stone cold. Limone itself is very, Very busy and really there's much better options on the lake - Salo is far nicer. Allow for all ferries to be a half hour late.

We have just returned from our family holiday in this very special place. I have stayed in Limone many times but this was my first visit with children, and this hotel was ideal. Our family room was great. It was modern and very clean. The air conditioning was brilliant, and everything worked very efficiently. No problems with our room at all. The staff deserve a special mention as I feel as though they went above and beyond to make our stay so lovely. They helped make our little boy’s 2nd birthday a memorable day, and always met us with a smile. Nothing was a problem for them. They really did make our stay very special. The food was of a high standard in the main restaurant, and even better perhaps in the Italian restaurant. We really enjoyed our meals. The prices in the hotel bar / snack area were also very reasonable and again, food and service was high quality, The views are beautiful from this part of Limone (and every part of Limone in fact). Don’t be put off by the walk into town. Although on a hill, it is very pleasant, especially if you opt to walk alongside the waterfall. However, with two small children in tow and battling with the heat, we often opted to use the shuttle service, which was fantastic. Always on time with a very pleasant driver, and we never had to queue, even in August. Finally, if our children were old enough to write their own review, it would be 5 stars all the way! We could not get our little girl out of the pools and the mini disco every evening was also a highlight. Tears on the last night. We will definitely be back next year, and no doubt for many years to come. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

We had an amazing holiday here! Our room was a family room - which was huge. We were lucky enough to have a lake view room. It was lovely. The only down side was a small number of steps with the buggy. The staff in the holiday were very friendly and lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. There was lots of the children to do , if they wanted. The three pools were beautiful and very clean. The restaurants served delicious food every night. There was an Italian restaurant on site that you can eat in as often was you want as long as you book on the morning. Both restaurants have help yourself beer, wine and soft drinks. There is a step hill into limone but it’s not unmanageable. There is a shuttle bus for €2 per person which is well worth the money at times. Overall, it was a friendly, clean and lovely hotel with beautiful views of the lake! We loved our stay there.

C'è chi ha il mal d'Africa io ho il mal lago di Garda e ogni volta scelgo di ritornare all'hotel Royal Village perché è come ritornare a casa per l'attenzione che hanno verso il cliente e per i servizi che offrono. C'è solo l'imbarazzo della scelta. Camera molto bella e pulita e con l'immancabile vista lago. Da ritornarci ogni volta che è possibile

Soggiornato perché Blu hotel e avendo fatto vacanze l'anno scorso al Casimiro,a San Felice sul Benaco,decidiamo di andare sul sicuro e prenotare nella stessa catena,anche se ahimè non c'è paragone. Camera superior vista lago rinnovata, arredi nuovi,vista bellissima,scenario unico. Pulizie nel complesso soddisfacenti ma mancava sempre set cortesia e bagnoschiuma, in una settimana ce lo hanno riassortito solo su nostra richiesta mentre passavamo dai corridoi,consiglio inoltre di spolverare spesso perché sulla testiera letto nonché comodino e scrivania in una settimana si accumula polvere ,idem per il balcone,alcune volte non veniva nemmeno aperto. Ad ogni modo la governante si è mostrata gentile e disponibile ad accogliere le ns richieste,come anche il tuttofare sempre cordiale.Due piscine esterne belle nel complesso ma ombrelloni vecchi.Una piscina interna molto bella e due Jacuzzi di cui una però non funzionante.Ristorante:solo buffet(no servizi ai tavoli,anche bevande, soft drink, caffè,cappuccino solo da macchinette)a volte curato e assortito , a volte svuotato e poco invitante. Dell'intero staff l'unico che ricorderemo con piacere sarà il direttore di sala,molto professionale ,sempre con sorriso e attento agli ospiti.Tra gli altri colleghi abbiamo notato scarsa cordialità e qualcuno si mostrava addirittura svogliato(evito di menzionare i diretti).Al bar non esiste servizio al banco.Il primo giorno,dopo cena,ci rechiamo qui per un caffè e amaro da prendere al volo perché di fretta ma,appena entriamo siamo stati invitati a sederci di fuori in maniera del tutto inadeguata e con modo scortese dalla cameriera, che è riuscita a spegnere tutto l'entusiasmo.Nel complesso quindi è un NI.Da un **** Blu hotel sicuramente ci aspettavamo di più. I posti altra storia.Panorama,vista,Limone,Riva, Malcesine,cascata Varone ecc....da andarci e lasciarci il ❤️.
