We had a very nice stay at the LISBON Marriott. We communicated with the hotel in advance informing them we would not arrive until 7am for our reservation and requested that they combine that with a group reservation for the next evening. When we arrived a very pleasant young lady at the Elite desk (Iona???) checked us in, acknowledged that our Suite Night Award (SNA) had been honored and that the two night separate reservations were set to keep us in the same room. She also advised us that we could go down to the restaurant for breakfast after we freshened up. Our room had not been updated yet like some, but it was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. The restaurant for breakfast was excellent and had many choices including an egg station. Even though there were two groups there the next morning, they were efficient and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The concierge lounge is not open for breakfast, but it is open during the day for beverages and the evening offerings were very nice and plentiful. We had occasion to meet Ms. Magalhaes who was very busy with the groups but yet spent time speaking with us about the property and thanking us for our loyalty. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. The only issue we had was that two elevators were not working causing a delay to get to/from our room during ”rush hour”. I hope they get this fixed, but overall we would recommend this property.

As it is said in the other comments, the rooms are very badly soundproofed... We were given a room on the street side, with a window that did not close properly, and as a result we slept very badly! We decided to leave after the first night, as there was only one room left that we did not want. After having had the MANAGER on the phone, we were told that we would be reimbursed (over 200€). Strangely my card was not working for the refund, ok, and that it was not possible in cash. We were then told that we would receive a transfer within 1 to 2 weeks... I have been waiting for 2 MONTHS! I have had no answer to my emails and on the phone, I'm clearly being pushed around. It's unacceptable, I work at the reception of a hotel in France, we refund our customers! ESPECIALLY when they promise us!!!!!! It's not only unprofessional but also dishonest. Comme il est dit dans les autres commentaires, les chambres sont très mal insonorisées.... On nous a donné une chambre côté rue, avec une fenêtre qui ne fermait pas bien, et du coup nous avons très mal dormi ! Nous avons décidé de partir après la première nuit, car il ne restait qu'une chambre dont nous ne voulions pas. Après avoir eu le DIRECTEUR au téléphone, on nous a dit que nous serions remboursés (plus de 200€). Bizarrement ma carte ne fonctionnait pas pour le remboursement, ok, et que ce n'était pas possible en liquide. On nous a ensuite dit que nous recevrions un virement sous 1 à 2 semaines.... Cela fait 2 MOIS que j'attends ! Je n'ai eu aucune réponse à mes emails et au téléphone, on me balade. C'est inacceptable, je travaille à la réception d'un hôtel en France, nous remboursons nos clients ! EN PARTICULIER quand on leur promet !!!!!! C'est non seulement non professionnel mais aussi malhonnête.

It’s been a long time since I was last in a youth hostel, and as a now 45 year old man there is probably a reason for this. Arriving late on the Tuesday night with fond memories of dorm parties and tequila slammers, I was greeted by what I initially thought was captain Jack Sparrow, but who actually transpired to be a very friendly chap who helped us to navigate the intricacies of the main entrance. Door buzzed, suitcases lifted up the stairs and ugh who let mum and dad in looks absorbed, we were handed our keys by a lovely member of the team alongside vouchers for two free shots. Enthusiastically we were informed that the bar was open until 1am that night, although we had missed the pub crawl for the evening. I’m flattered I guess, however we decided to give the shots a miss in favour of a nice sleep. Yup, Father Time catches up with us all… We had a private double with a shared bathroom, and although very small it was comfortable enough. The pillow has perhaps seen better days, but the A/C was a life saver! Spending the days walking around town and doing some gentle exploring, the nights were largely spent for myself at least in the bar area downstairs. It’s a small but perfectly functional area, and in all honesty wasn’t the screaming mess of teenagers away from home for the first time that I had been expecting. At 3 euros a pint I was certainly very happy to sit and read whilst various cool young things did their thing in the background. Declining participation in the pub crawl for a second time, I was tempted with the tapas tasting but plans for the night changed due to friends arriving a day early and diner reservations being made. From a comfort point of view, our bathroom was shared between three double rooms I believe on the third floor, and this was never an issue. I attribute this to the fact that we were likely on very different schedules with us going out for the day and back for the night, as opposed to the perhaps more night based activities of our fellow residents. Bedroom like I said small, but hey, who cares, we weren’t here to sit in a room all day. The breakfast was absolutely fine, and for 5 euros a day you really cannot complain. All in all very happy with my stay, though peeking into an open dorm room one day my god I wouldn’t have survived the week unless you could take 25 years off me! Good job though overall Sant Jordi, and I’d certainly consider staying again - safe, friendly and somewhere I’m sure 20 year old me would have had a blast!

We landed here from a cancelled easyjet flight, staff were so understanding when we arrived. Breakfast and dinner was included in our stay and was a buffet style with a great selection. Room was very spacious and clean. A 1 minute walk away from metro entrance and supermarket.

Not bad. However very loud. I could here people talking outside my window all night long. There is a fridge, oven, hotplate, and a washing machine. The sofa unfolds too, wide enough for only one person.

Lovely and close to the airport, a late check-in, staff were delightful, she even came to my room to help me with the wndow, the handle was broken so it would not close properly. Toilet, seat was loose... Nice room, but a bit of road noise with open window. Breakfast was great and at €9.50 very reasonable, good selection and even a fresh orange squeezing machine. If you have an early morning flight, seriously consider this place. No stress about 10am checkout 👍

Booked this hotel after calling their central reservations office . I told them quiet was my main priority . After assurances from them I cancelled my other reservation in Lisbon . What a mistake ! Paid 790 euro for a family room. Rooms are no better than a holiday inn. My daughter’s room was dirty on check in . Cut nails on the floor , mould in the shower and hair in the sink . Old, tatty and stained bed bases . The common areas were so noisy with business guests . The hotel is attached to a big conference facility . Service was very good but I have no idea why this hotel gets such good ratings . Perhaps because most of the guests are not paying themselves and are getting corporate rates . I felt completely ripped off . The central reservation was not completely honest about the hotel. I spoke to the reception and the GM in the end . They waived my charge for one beer ….. the best they could do . What an insult . Not stated in any “5” star hotel that has mould in the shower . No attention to detail. Don’t stay here if you are on holiday. There’s much better choices in Lisbon .

We loved every minute of our stay there, this had become our hotel in Lisbon for the last 2 years Great newly refurbished hotel, located on a hill overlooking the ocean and the Lisbon golf. Rooms are fairly sized (circa 35sqm), and half are facing the ocean view. The staff is very friendly, available, and helpful. The hotel has plenty of free parking, and 1 heated 25m long pool, a spa, a 20 m external pool, next to a bar and a kids wadding pool. The rooms are well insulated, you can't hear a noise and spotless This hotel is just pure serenity, despite being locates 26mns drive from the center, I prefer to stay here and relax and drive RT to the city.

The hotel is very good in every aspect. The rooms are clean and the facilities are complete. Especially the air conditioner is a Midea brand made in China. It is really powerful. The service attitude is also very good. The breakfast is also good. There are many food markets and supermarkets around where you can go and have a look. The local customs and customs, there is a small park next to the hotel, except that it is a bit far from the city, overall it is a very cost-effective hotel.

Rating 0/5 - Exceptions to this RATING - Are the polite & extremely helpful Jessica @ the front desk & Andre the Rooms Manager who went out of their respective ways to meet any requirements needed. Firstly, my reservation was booked 2 months prior yet NO NOTIFICATION that the Hotel name & brand had changed a couple weeks prior. With a few street signs & the massive New Name signage on the hotel marquis , I was not notified of the NH Re- Branding. I was told that ALL guests were notified of this Change of Corporate Re- Branding . When I explain this to the Day front Desk Manager his reply was nothing they can do as it all comes from Head Office (poor apology ). I checked all previous correspondence & no such emails were received by me despite being assured that notifications were sent to all arriving guests! After an 8 hour flight from Toronto Canada & driving past the hotel 3 times up & down one way streets, finally parked & asked where is the Tivoli Sintra Hotel? I was directed in its direction. Jessica @ the front desk walked back with me to my car ( got in with my wife & I ) & guided us through the streets to the hotel. Wonderful ! Andre was most attentive & any request was followed through with the expertise & care of a 5 star manager (a hand written note expressing his desire to be of service should we require anything) was in our room . COMMENDABLE! Now my rating is based not on these two wonderful caring staff But the other staff & room encounters. The shower head kept falling down on the bar so could only be used by hand . The evening front desk manager came to the room & apologizing said it would be repaired in the morning, still not corrected by next day. I asked for 4 towels as the shower floor was soaking wet ( said could give us ONLY 2 ) from the ill functioning shower-head, also the sink faucet spout that spewed water over the entire area (poor design) choice. The house maid came & cleaned entire bathroom that evening so we could still use it the next day - lovely lady despite no English we gestured what was required and she met our expectations. The following day we went @9:30 pm for a late light dinner. After being seated by a bus boy who did not provide us with table settings, we waited 10 minutes as the Waiter walked by us twice with no acknowledgment as to our presence (saying he would be with us momentarily would have been considerate). He proceeded to serve another table 3 feet from us, who were asking for additional drinks as they were obviously there for some time dining. We finally got up from the table & in dismay the waiter looked at us. We stated that being ignored & as guests of the hotel were upset with this level of disrespect & lack of hospitality professionalism. Lastly, I had sent an email at the time of booking advising of this being a special 70 th Birthday trip for my wife, to the hotel Manager that any niceties that could be offered would be appreciated. Not even a note ! As I am writing this in our Fig
