A pretty good hotel in the Arctic! The room service and front desk are very good. The hotel's breakfast is also very rich. The front desk can arrange activities in the Arctic and help book!

Hotellet lå sentralt. Rommet vårt lå i første etg og rett ved personal-/vareinngang. En del forstyrrelser sent på kvelden da ansatte slamret med utgangsdøren. Ubehagelig at folk gikk rett utenfor vinduet vårt, når vi hadde vinduet oppe på natten.
Vi fikk beskjed i resepsjonen om at vi ikke hadde rom før dagen ankomst. Vi kunne imidlertid vise til bekreftelse om at rommet var bestilt til rett dag. Fikk ikke noen beklagelse fra personalet om at de tok feil.

Great stay at the hotel. Staff were helpful and rooms were clean. Food at breakfast was delicious with lots of options and the Sushi restaurant was incredible. Very convenient for any excursions and right next to the main supermarket. Would recommend!

We spent 10 nights in this hotel while exploring Svalbard for the first time. We were pleased with the location, right in the heart of Longyearbyen. The hotel is part of the pick-up routine for any activity providers, meaning they will pick you up at the door, and it's also on the bus shuttle route to and from the airport. The staff is available 24/7 and is friendly and helpful. We opted for a breakfast included, which was generous and good (buffet). The room was very nice, and we enjoyed spending more than a week here. We would be happy to stay at the Vault again if visiting Svalbard another time. Good to know, there is a Japonese restaurant in the hotel.
