Casa Maat at JW Marriott Los Cabos Beach Resort & Spa

First time to visit Cabo in June, weather was perfect! The resort wasn’t busy, very quiet and peaceful - one of the main reasons we enjoy staying here. Butlers Francisco, Abraham, and Ricardo are attentive to every need. They make dinner and golf reservations, called for cabs when needed and even upgraded our room. Love the breakfast every morning (smoothies, omelets, fruit) and the relaxing music at dinner. Waiter Antonio goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need for the perfect dinner. Slept like a baby in the comfortable beds. Rooms are a little dark, hard to see in the bathroom at times, but we hear they are doing some updates.

The Casa Maat is a private section that is attached to the JW Marriott. All guests have access to the JW facilities and restaurant but JW guests do not have access to Casa Maat. There's a private pool that was amazing to relax by and the pool and front desk staff were all incredible. However, what stood out was our amazing butler team of Abraham, Francisco, Jesus and Ricardo. We are Marriott Titanium and have stayed at several properties with butler service but this was easily the best team that we have ever stayed with. They were always helpful, paid attention to detail and went out of their wait to ensure we had an amazing stay. The only pieces of constructive feedback we have, that had very little impact on our overall stay, are: 1. Wifi at the Casa Maat pool is extremely spotty. This led to us burning through our cell data to access the internet 2. Our meal at Cafe des Artistes was good but not amazing. For the price, there are many other places in San Jose del Cabo to go eat at a similar price range that are better, including Acre. The service team at Cafe des Artistes was amazing, it was just the value of the meal (quality vs. price) that was lacking. We're already planning our next trip to come back -- THANK YOU Casa Maat team for such an amazing vacation.

Exceptional service by the entire team at JW Marriott Casa Maat. The Butler Team, Jesus, Francisco, Ricardo and Abraham were absolutely outstanding!! The poolside service by Eduardo, Antonio, Samanda, Anahi and Monserrat was exemplary. It seemed like never ending attention and customer delight. Will definitely come back. Hard to find such an exceptional service!

$300 US dollars for USED beach/pool bags!! Truly unfortunate, it was a great stay until the very end. A true disappointment as I had settled my folio, checked-out from the hotel, all bags loaded onto the golf cart and headed to the airport I learned the packed beach bags that I thought were amenities to take home were not Bonvoy gifts. The same person who asked if we were going to take the bags had loaded them onto the luggage and golf cart earlier and I had spoken to him multiple times. Staff did not communicate that the bags were not gifts in writing or prior to departure in Spanish or English. In fact guidance on how to care for the bags were given earlier in the week by the same person. A true disappointment. From an Ambassador Bonvoy member do better Bonvoy. ****Note I did contact Bonvoy directly about this matter with no update from the property.

The facilities are beautiful and well maintained, the food was excellent, and the people were well trained and did an outstanding job. An American style breakfast was served every day, various snack’s served throughout the day, and the dinners were multiple coursed themed for variety.

Beautiful and well maintained hotel with great service. Our butler Francisco went above and beyond to make sure we enjoy our stayed. He even recommend and helped us book a cooking class during our stay. The spa with the infinity pool is amazing and very relaxing. I can sit by the pool listening to the wave and ocean view all day.

This was such a memorable experience I will never forget. I went for my 30th birthday and was surprised by my boyfriend proposing! He worked with our amazing butlers Ricardo, Abraham, Fransico, and Jesus to bring it to life. They helped set it up on the beach with a photographer followed by an amazing dinner and our room was decked out when we came back. They were completely responsive at all times, and we felt so taken care of. The resort is gorgeous, and Merli and Antonio at the restaurant took care of my vegan dietarían needs the entire time. We loved the activities they offered like wine tasting and played pickle ball! Everything was top notch and we cannot wait to be back.

Had an incredible stay and was spoiled by the staff, especially Abraham the butler who went above and beyond for me! Room was awesome (got a fortunate upgrade to ocean front suite w baller patio great for morning yoga) and pool is fantastic for laps or chilling. Highly recommend as a solo reprieve or coupes outing. Serenity of it is great and can then migrate over to JW for more (but their guests can’t come to Casa Maat! Will be back !!

Casa Maat is a fantastic resort. We enjoyed 7 nights of relaxation and comfort provided by a wonderful staff that went over the top to help us celebrate birthdays during our stay. Luis (checkin), Jesus and Ricardo (butlers), Daniel (poolside), Antonio (dinner), just to name a few staff members, made sure we were taken care of everyday. From Prosecco and cake in our room to setting up reservations at Acre, everything was perfect. The Spa was a wonderful getaway from the sun mid afternoon. The resort was designed to be pleasing to the senses, and allowed us to relax and unwind. We will definitely be back next year, if not before.
