We - me and my family - were refused to stay in this hotel despite being booked in advance because of person (or people) who stayed in the room (family room) wanted to extend their stay, as it was explained to us. We were not offered another room(s) in the hotel, instead the receptionist recommend us the nearby located guest house with the rooms of quality left a lot to be desired, to say the least!. Naturally, we had to find another hotel urgently. Lack of professionalism and unwilliness to help surprised us greatly. I think travellers should be aware of a risk being refused to entry if they took risk to book a room in this hotel.

Vastaanotto huono, ei tiedetty mitään tulostani, mistä varattu, paljon maksettu jne. Hotelli on vanha ja rapistunut. Aamiainen hyvä. Osa henkilökunnasta ystävällisiä. Uima- allas ala- arvoinen, likainen. Ei pystynyt uimaan. Keskellä kaupunkia, kiureinen ja rauhaton paikka. Huone kuitenkin rauhallinen.

Property is very old and poorly maintained. Requires thorough refurbishment before advertising it for international guests. This is a perfect case of What You See Is Not What You Get (WYSINWYG). Terrible and Pathetic!

The only thing going for this place is the cheaper price than any other hotel in Lusaka. Please pay an extra 20 usd or 20 gbp and I tell you the upgrade will be so worth it you won't believe it. This place is grimy, grotty, unclean, rooms dirty and a bit unsafe feeling too. The place you move your hand across a surface and need to detox immediately. Budget travellers / solos require MUCH better than this. Seriously don't do it to yourself - you'll regret it. I've been travelling for 30 years solo and this must be in the worst 5% of hotels I've had the misfortune to stay at, and a pretty grotty start to Zambia which got so much better one I left this god-forsaken place
