With multiple attractions nearby including Chang'an Street, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall and Beijing Longfu Temple, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Beijing hotel offers parking on site. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"The service was excellent. We arrived a bit late, and turndown service had already been done. Someone even guided us to our room. When I lost my room key at the bar, the bartender helped me contact the front desk and retrieve it. We received a handwritten welcome letter and complimentary Beijing-style fruits and snacks, which was a nice touch. The location is superb, right next to Wangfujing Street. From the bar's terrace, you can see the Forbidden City and Chang'an Avenue. However, the public areas are quite small and, being located within a mall, feel a bit cramped."

The 1500 square-metre BVLGARI Spa adds a further luxurious touch to the guest experience featuring 11 treatment rooms, a fitness center and a 25-metre pool made of shimmering mosaic tiles. With its sophisticated atmosphere, The Bvlgari Bar at The Bvlgari Hotel Beijing is the city’s elite gathering place. Guests can enjoy cocktails, fine wine, champagne and Bvlgari’s renowned ‘aperitivo’ at the signature oval bar, or on the outdoor terrace overlooking the river.

"Our stay was excellent. The room had a view of the Liangma River, and I assume every room offers a different angle of the river. The room was private and quiet, and impeccably clean. The turndown service, which included homemade drinks in a thermos, was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast selection was vast; we tried both Chinese and American options, and both were delicious. Our butler, Bitty, provided exceptional service from check-in, always responsive to our needs and checking in on our family daily. We received complimentary fruit and dessert upon arrival, and snacks were delivered to our room every evening. Overall, the service was incredibly attentive. We will definitely choose the Bulgari Hotel again on our next visit to Beijing."

Just steps from the East Gate of the Summer Palace grounds lies at Summer Palace Hotel - the ideal location from which to discover Beijing.Housed in a series of pavilions, some of which date back over a century and were originally used by guests of the Palace awaiting an audience with the Empress Dowager Cixi, the restort is only 15km from the Forbidden City.A serene retreat ,with pea ceful internal courtyards embracing traditional Chinese architecture ,the proerty provides easy access to such cultural landmarks as the Great Wall ,The Temple of Heaven and the hutongs ,as well ad Beijing's restaurants ,art galleries and other contemporary delights .

"The hotel, formerly the **** at Summer Palace, opened in 2008. The service is exceptional; staff are attentive throughout and seem to recognize guests. Before my stay, I inquired about the hotel and they kindly upgraded me to a courtyard room for free. The room itself is beautifully styled, and the garden within the quadrangle is lovely. However, I did encounter a minor issue during check-in. Upon returning to my room one evening, I found a gecko on the wall by the bed. After an unsuccessful attempt to catch it, the hotel moved me to a suite, but there was no further action or apology for the inconvenience. The hotel breakfast is excellent, entirely à la carte, with first-rate service, attitude, and taste. That said, the hotel facilities are quite old, especially the bathroom – the showerhead was difficult to use, and the floor drain was slightly clogged. I also used the in-room dining service for dinner; there's a 15% service charge, and the food was decent."

Hotel near Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen,Beijing
No. 1 of Luxury Hotels in Beijing
Located in the heart of a traditional hutong neighbourhood inside the Beijing Central Axis, the capital's key cultural artery, Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing is a remarkable, unique property of just 42 courtyard houses. Intimately connected to the city, its expansive, luxurious accommodations feature exquisite oriental aesthetics and represent the pinnacle of Chinese hospitality. With refined wellness and immersive culinary experiences and a distinguished event setting, contemporary luxury, sumptuous heritage, art and nature combine, just steps from The Forbidden City, Qianmen and The Temple of Heaven. TIAO, the contemporary cocktail bar at Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing, has been named among Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026.

"This time, my girlfriend and I chose to celebrate a special day of love at the Mandarin Oriental Qianmen in Beijing. I had heard that Qianmen MO ranked 14th in the 2026 World Top 50 Hotels, so we decided to experience it ourselves. To summarize: Hotel Service - full marks; Cultural Experience - full marks; Hotel Decor - full marks. I communicated our check-in time with the butler in advance. Upon arrival, the Director of Housekeeping, our butler, the doorman, and about 5 other staff members greeted us warmly with a bouquet of roses. From that moment on, whether it was the decor evoking old Beijing hutongs or the warm welcome service, I immediately fell deeply in love with it. Once we entered the room, the special occasion decorations and welcome amenities were all perfectly arranged. I'd like to specially commend our butler, Miss Melody. She truly treated us with sincerity and meticulously met our needs. From booking Ten Triggers Bar to arranging transportation, breakfast requests, and late check-out, everything was communicated through a dedicated WeChat group and arranged perfectly in advance. Many thanks! Regarding the stay experience, this was my first time staying in a hotel with a private courtyard. We stayed at Dongcheng Caocang 3 Tiao, and the entire small courtyard was ours. I even felt like I had a home in Beijing, a siheyuan of my own. (On a side note, the butler told us we were very lucky to be staying in the same room where Dylan Wang once stayed). It was a perfect, happy, and unforgettable stay. I hope to return here again for another stay on a snowy winter day."

Hotel near Tanzhe Temple, Miaofeng Mountain Scenic Spot,Beijing
No. 3 of Luxury Hotels in Beijing
Your private sanctuary of serenity and dreams—Beijing Xitan Hotel nestles in the mountains of western Beijing's outskirts, neighboring the thousand-year-old Tanzhe Temple. The hotel's grounds trace back to Yangpoyuan Village, an ancient settlement with over a millennium of history. Throughout years of careful renovation, multiple heritage structures and plants exceeding five centuries in age have been preserved. Guest rooms and suites are distributed across ten restrained, time-honored Chinese courtyards. Every space at Xitan embodies a distinctive philosophy of international curation. In July 2021, Xitan Hotel was formally inducted as a member of Relais & Châteaux, the prestigious French hotel association. Here, in seclusion, one can see yourself; here, the accumulated Eastern spirit resonates, awakening ancient sensibilities that flow through the blood.

"The scenery at Xitang is breathtaking, the landscaping is elegant, and the hardware is top-notch, but the service is abysmal. They want to make a fortune while being ridiculously stingy with service and supplies. 1) For an 8250 RMB per night room, we were told that only the 'first round' of water/snacks in the room was complimentary, and refills would be charged. After several rounds of complaints, from the platform to the duty manager, and finally to the residence manager, they eventually agreed that water refills would be free. 2) The Rongfu banquet Chinese restaurant charges 1280-1980 RMB per person plus a 15% service fee, and the Western restaurant charges 698-1380 RMB plus 15%. They require a day's advance notice for ordering, which we complied with to help them save ingredients and reduce waste. However, they still tried to cut corners on food choices. For Western meals, they forced guests to choose identical dishes for two people. This kind of petty and calculating behavior is truly appalling. The most ridiculous part was being forced to choose between tomatoes and water chestnuts for roasted vegetables. How much more would it cost to roast two extra slices of water chestnuts or a few more cherry tomatoes? While sharing a main course like fish might be understandable, forcing guests to choose only one option for vegetables, staples, and desserts, all while charging tasting menu prices, and not allowing guests to taste different foods, is simply serving McDonald's-style 'fill-your-stomach' meals and treating guests like fools. After a lengthy argument with the hotel, they finally agreed to let us choose different dishes. The management team apologized sincerely, but when the bill came, the server specifically emphasized that these 'two-choose-one' options were a 'special gift' for us. So, it turns out they don't believe they did anything wrong, but rather that they were granting us a special favor. 3) The breakfast selection was also ridiculously limited. Pre-baked bakery items occupied almost half of the counter space, while cold cuts and hot dishes were pitifully few. The funniest part was watching them steam pre-made buns from a central kitchen and pretend they were freshly cooked hot dishes. After we complained, they prepared two hot stir-fries for us the next day. 4) The cinema only showed about twenty old movies at fixed times, and you couldn't choose what to watch. The Aman at the Summer Palace, which was the original頤和宾馆 (Yihe Binguan), had 200 movies to choose from and even that was considered limited. Compared to this place, Aman was a benchmark. 5) The gym facilities were excellent, with an infinity pool and distant mountains visible from the windows, offering a serene and profound view. However, there was a strong odor inside, perhaps from the leather sofas or new equipment, suggesting they hadn't even done environmental deodorization. 6) The so-called butler service was non-existent; it felt like they were just going through the motions. Any request for help was met with a conversation-ending response, demonstrating zero service awareness. When we called for a car, we asked the front desk to confirm the address, so I could quickly change it if it was wrong. They dragged their feet, acting snobbish and insisting they had surveillance to check, delaying until the driver went the wrong way before finally giving directions. Even if the owner isn't short on money and has powerful backing in Beijing, this is no way to run a service industry. Perhaps only those in their 'power circle' are deemed worthy of service here. 7) Some individual staff members were good. The gentleman on duty at the lobby in the evening was very helpful, taking us out on an electric cart and showing us walking routes. The Residence Manager was very willing to listen and help guests, but the overall service level was seriously lacking. It's not something one person can fix. Aside from its hardware and landscape, Xitang has nothing else and does not deserve to be in the same price range as the Yihe Binguan at 8000 RMB."

Hotel near East Second Ring Workers' Stadium Area,Beijing
No. 11 of Luxury Hotels in Beijing
Nestled in the epicenter of Beijing's fashion and lifestyle scene, InterContinental Beijing Sanlitun enjoys a privileged location alongside the picturesque Liangma River, blending natural serenity with urban vibrancy. As an iconic architectural landmark, the hotel embodies international luxury while offering convenient access to the embassy district, central business area, and popular tourist destinations. With its avant-garde design, the hotel stands as a dynamic presence in Sanlitun—the city’s most captivating entertainment and lifestyle hub—making it the ideal choice for global travelers and discerning social elites. It features the largest banquet venues in the Sanlitun area, with over 1,500 square meters of sophisticated event space. Complemented by modern guest rooms and innovative culinary concepts, the hotel seamlessly caters to both business and leisure needs of today’s travelers.

"I booked an Executive King Room, and the hotel upgraded me to a suite, which I then upgraded myself to their signature panoramic view room. The view was excellent, offering a 270-degree view from three sides, directly facing the bustling Sanlitun Taikoo Li commercial district. This is one of Beijing's most vibrant areas, with many events, such as the outdoor fashion week happening right downstairs during my stay. The hotel's location is superb, surrounded by malls, bars, and restaurants. There's a constant flow of people and traffic throughout the day and well into the night. The InterContinental Club on the 22nd floor offered morning tea and afternoon tea with fewer crowds and excellent service – even more welcoming and attentive than other hotels. The gym and swimming pool were both good and not crowded at all. The emotional value of standing by the window in the panoramic view room and enjoying the scenery was truly immense. The downside, however, is the price; I wouldn't have been able to afford it if the hotel hadn't given me a discount. Also, the electric curtains on the front and both side panoramic windows are linked, meaning that most of the time, to block out the view of the neighboring guest room from one side, the other panoramic curtain also has to be closed, which is quite frustrating. It would be better if they were manual curtains instead."

Pros: 1. The hotel is nestled halfway up the mountain, offering fresh air and truly beautiful surroundings. It's a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle, and the hotel's decor and maintenance are quite good. Our butler, Bella, was incredibly meticulous and thoughtful, taking care of every little detail. She met all our needs, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. 2. There's a wide array of facilities and activities, including a mountainside hot spring, indoor pool, Hatha yoga, singing bowl therapy, a gym, and a kids' club. It's perfect for families, and the kids' club is large and newly renovated – it just reopened in May. It's definitely more fun than the kids' clubs at other hotels I've visited. Plus, children aged 4 and up can be supervised for free, which made my little one super happy! 3. The room key card came with a park map, showing hiking trails. There's an easy 5-kilometer mountain boardwalk, perfect for families, where you can visit the Eight Planets viewing platforms. 4. The breakfast was impressive! They had steaks, lamb chops, and a rich variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. However, the cured meats were generally a bit too salty. Cons: 1. For a 5-star hotel, there was no safe in the room. 2. While there's an abundance of kids' activities, most of them come with a fee. 3. Since the kids' club was newly renovated, the smell was quite strong, making my eyes and throat uncomfortable. Overall, we were still very satisfied. I imagine it would be even more atmospheric to visit in winter for the hot springs, though I expect it would be extremely crowded.

My stay at the Waldorf Astoria Beijing was absolutely perfect, earning a full five-star review! I experienced both the main building and the traditional courtyard rooms. The location is superb, right next to Wangfujing and within walking distance to the Forbidden City, making getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel's design is truly unique and thoughtful. The rooms are spacious and elegant, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the amenities are high-quality and smell wonderful – every detail shows great care. Our butler, Willow, provided attentive and thoughtful service; she was warm, polite, and perfectly balanced, never being intrusive. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring both authentic Beijing specialties and delicious Western options. The afternoon tea was beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked. This is definitely the top luxury hotel to stay at when visiting Beijing. Highly recommended!

The location is superb, allowing for easy strolls along Wangfujing Street anytime. The modern hotel, adorned with a classically charming entrance, truly stands out. I especially loved the spacious walk-in closet in the room, perfect for families to store their luggage! The bathroom fixtures were also exactly to my taste. The hotel staff were all incredibly enthusiastic, making us feel very much at home despite traveling from afar. When we needed an iron for the room that evening, the housekeeping staff promptly delivered it, set it up, and ensured it was ready for our use – exceptionally efficient. Furthermore, the breakfast offered unique Beijing specialties, and I was particularly delighted by the presentation of the breakfast tea, served in an English silver tea set, adding a wonderful sense of ritual. If I hadn't been in a rush, I would have savored every moment! I will definitely stay here again next time!

I stayed here in July, and the hotel grounds were truly stunning. Lush greenery was everywhere, making a stroll through the area incredibly atmospheric. I particularly enjoyed the traditional cultural experiences arranged by the hotel; they were relaxing and truly rejuvenating. In the mornings, I could wander freely through the grounds, immersing myself in nature, and in the afternoons, I found peace in transcribing Buddhist scriptures and participating in interesting intangible cultural heritage craft workshops. There were also explanations of ancient architecture, and I learned a lot about traditional Chinese buildings. The room conditions were good, and having a bathtub was a real plus – a soak after exploring was incredibly stress-relieving. The room was well-equipped with a coffee machine and various teas. The front desk staff were very efficient, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. However, a minor drawback was that some of the in-room fixtures showed signs of aging and could use regular maintenance and repair. Overall, this place is a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle, balancing beautiful natural scenery with rich cultural experiences. It’s an excellent spot for a relaxing getaway or a short break. If they regularly upgrade the room hardware in the future, the overall experience would be even more perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet vacation and a taste of traditional culture.

Our stay at Yanqi Hotel was an absolutely fantastic experience, far exceeding our expectations. The hotel boasts a beautiful and tranquil environment, nestled by mountains and a lake with fresh air. Both the natural scenery and the overall design made us feel incredibly relaxed. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, meticulously maintained. We were extremely satisfied with both the quality of sleep and the overall experience during our stay. For anyone looking for a short escape from daily life and a high-quality vacation, this is definitely an ideal destination for a staycation. We especially want to thank Bingao for his thoughtful arrangements. From pre-arrival to during our stay, he provided us with very detailed and attentive assistance. As we were traveling with our baby, we inevitably encountered various small issues and last-minute requests, but Bingao always patiently helped us coordinate and resolve them, making the entire check-in process smooth and enjoyable. What touched us most was that, thanks to Bingao's arrangements, the hotel also made special preparations for our baby's birthday. This warm and heartfelt surprise created very fond memories for our family trip. We could truly feel the hotel team's care and attention to their guests, which made this birthday extra special. We sincerely thank Bingao and the hotel team for their professional service and genuine dedication. Our entire family had an unforgettable and wonderful time, and we will definitely recommend Yanqi Hotel to our friends and look forward to staying again in the future. Thank you once again!

The service truly exceeded my expectations, and I have to give a big thumbs up and thank you! 👍🏻 My child left an Apple Pencil in the hotel room, but we didn't realize it was missing until long after we got home. I called the hotel to inquire, but the room had already been cleaned and new guests had checked in, and the pencil wasn't found. However, the hotel staff went above and beyond, communicating with various departments, re-entering the room, and meticulously searching. They finally found it tucked between the nightstand and the bed! They called me immediately to confirm and shipped it back to me. My child was thrilled to get it back! I'm so grateful for the hotel staff's diligent and thoughtful service, which saved us from a financial loss. While the hotel isn't brand new, the interior decor is clearly well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. It's clean, well-equipped, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. We requested buckwheat pillows and mineral water, and they were promptly delivered to our room after we left a voicemail. Overall, our stay was a fantastic experience!

The room isn't huge, but the bathroom and other spaces are quite spacious. The service attitude is excellent, and they pay great attention to detail. For example, knowing I have many toiletries, the hotel thoughtfully provided something to put them on, which deserves high praise. Housekeeping was also very thorough each time. As the hotel is located in the CBD with high floors, the views are fantastic, making it a popular spot for Instagrammers. It's definitely worth staying here. Every time our family went for breakfast, they arranged everything perfectly for us, so I'm giving it a good review. It would be even better if there were more variety in the breakfast options!

The hotel itself is great, I can't really fault it. The design is artistic, and both the facilities and service attitude are excellent. It offers good value for money in Beijing. There's a mall downstairs, making it convenient for dining or ordering takeout. However, the quality of some hotel guests is just bizarre. The couple next door were absolute animals, treating the hotel like their own personal movie set. I had just had a cosmetic procedure and my face was throbbing. I was hoping for a quiet night's rest. Instead, I was driven to my wit's end by the incessant noise from these two all night long. The first 'show' started at 7 PM. The screaming was like someone being butchered, so loud I honestly thought there was a ghost. There was even a sound like glass breaking, and I almost put on a Buddhist chant. On closer listening, it turned out to be the woman yelling 'hubby' and 'don't want to'. It ended abruptly after five minutes, at least they had some shred of dignity left. Then at 2:30 AM, it started again, waking both my boyfriend and me. For over half an hour, it was non-stop 'ah ah ah, oh oh oh, ho ho ho,' 'so hard,' 'so deep,' and the guy was constantly dirty talking. The noise was so loud it sounded like they'd moved their bed right outside my window. This isn't a *******, and there are children staying here. Can't you two have some common decency? No one is interested in your late-night adult film live stream. If you're going to be so 'talented,' at least cover your mouths and shut the door completely. Don't make your neighbors your unwilling audience. I'm just an innocent guest who just had surgery. And after all that, they still wouldn't quiet down, continuing to talk loudly and cackle like ****** until 5 AM. It was as if they were the only two people in the entire building, with no sound from any other room. I only went to sleep when they finally stopped talking, and the next day my eyes looked like a 'sad frog'. The moment I thought about calling the front desk, they'd go silent, and the moment I tried to sleep, they'd start up again. What exactly was the point of all that?

A butler was waiting for us while we parked, showing exceptional service. Upon checking in at the lobby, we were offered complimentary snacks and drinks. To my delight, they upgraded our room for free, allowing for a better view of Yanqi Lake. The room table had fruit and wine, and the butler had even prepared aromatherapy. Surprisingly, the bathroom floor was also thoughtfully equipped with a non-slip mat. The butler also brought our luggage to our room, and to my surprise, given the slightly chilly temperature, they even brought down a warm coat from the car – incredibly considerate! We had initially mentioned needing to get our luggage, but only remembered when they went to retrieve it, and then they thoughtfully brought us the warm coat! We also participated in an afternoon cultural tour, which provided a deeper understanding of the hotel's design style and philosophy. The food was excellent, and the hotel facilities, cleanliness, and environment were superb! Not to mention the butler's service – it was exceptional! I highly recommend this hotel to families visiting Yanqi Lake. If we go again in the future, we will definitely choose Yanbai Mountain Villa again!
