Hotel Montagne Matsumoto

Since it was a smoking room, I opened the window and the door as soon as I entered.

Very good location near the station.

Located just outside the west exit (Alps exit) of Matsumoto Station, this is a fine hotel that can be used for wedding receptions, banquets, and meetings. You can see the beautiful Northern Alps. The front desk staff were always smiling and very helpful, and they were happy to store our luggage before check-in, which was convenient for sightseeing. The single room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable and we slept well. We were on the third floor, so we could only see a little of the Northern Alps, but I think you can get a better view from the higher floors. The bathroom was also well-cleaned and clean, but the smell was a bit noticeable. The shampoos were Pola, which was very good, but they were placed a little far from the bathtub. The shower water pressure seemed a little difficult to adjust. The room had the bare necessities of a toothbrush set, shower cap, razor, and comb, so I thought they were environmentally conscious. We didn't include meals, but the restaurant on the first floor seems to be popular and the parking lot was full. It's on the opposite side of the downtown area, but it's convenient because it's close to the station, and the oyaki from the oyaki shop next door was very delicious. It's close to the station and quiet at night, so I highly recommend it.

The room was spacious and comfortable, although it was on the third floor and the window was small.

I've been to Matsumoto many times and stayed at a certain famous business hotel chain, but my car was too high so I booked this one. The rooms are old but the hotel staff were very helpful, from the electrical connections to the service. I ate at the Chinese restaurant in the hotel, but I fell asleep after drinking during the day and was an hour late, so I felt bad because they were so helpful. I'll stay here when I stay in Matsumoto from now on.

It's on the opposite side of the downtown area (Castle Gate) and the surrounding area is quiet. It takes 1-2 minutes from the exit to the bicycle parking area (railroad tracks). It's a short walk to the convenience store. I didn't know if there were amenities such as lotion, but I noticed bath salts at the front desk when I checked out, so maybe there were, but there was no information. Dinner was not included so I can't rate it, but the breakfast was not particularly local except for soba noodles, and it was a bit...

It's behind the station, opposite the downtown area, but it's close to the station and quite convenient.
