Hotel Garni Corona

Great location. Great breakfast, lady who serves breakfast is very friendly and makes great coffee. Totally would stay here again. Large lake view room on the 4th floor. Comfortable bed and good sized bathroom with double sinks. Beautiful! Loved our stay.

Amaaaaazing, best spot in Menaggio and therefore the best place in lake Como. The room was perfect, close to everything and central to the town. Breakfast was beautiful and so worth it. Most of all like every hotel, the staff were fantastic. There is a good reason they have so many amazing reviews THEY DESERVE THEM

small boutique hotel in right by center of town ( Menaggio) and other side is across the road from the lake. Town square was behind us. Restaurants all around us. Our room was clean and spacious. Large bathroom with tub and shower. There was a little balcony. Walking distance to the boat shuttles. Would go there again.

Whilst categorized as a 3 star hotel, Hotel Garni Corona is anything but, and should not in any way put you off staying here. Yes, it doesn't have a pool, but very few hotels around Menaggio do, unless of course, you're willing to pay over £2000 a night. The rooms are adequately comfortable, are a decent size, and the bathrooms have clearly recently been modernized. We had a lake view room albeit with a small balcony, but big enough to sit and take in the breathtaking views of the lake, with Bellagio and Varena in view on the other side of the lake. By far the hotels greatest asset is it's location, opposite the lake. To the side of the hotel is Piazza Garibaldi which is not only incredibly beautiful, but also has an array of restaurants and gelato shops. Within a short walk is a large supermarket selling literally everything, and bus stops are literally a stones throw away, taking you to other towns, should you chose to do so. The views from our balcony, and our walks along the lake will live with me forever. I was incredibly impressed with this property and the service provided by the staff, particularly the team in the breakfast room who were incredibly friendly.

This hotel was perfection in every way!! Perfectly located in the cutest little piazza, with amazing cafes and restaurants , like Cafe del Tana, Osteria ll Pozzo, Pizzeria Lugano, and the cutest gelato shop, La Fabrica del Gelato. This is a small family owned boutique hotel, and you felt the coziness in the rooms, which were beautifully decorated, and the ones with the lake views are a true treat. The front desk staff were so helpful and always large smiles and waves anytime you passed the lobby. Parking is available nearby, also boat rentals and tours, as well as the ferry to the neighbouring towns like Bellagio. Definitely cannot wait to return here again!

This hotel is absolutely perfect. Besides having all updated immentities, what sets it apart is the staff. I must specifically mention the lovely ladies at the front desk: Gaia, Makayla, and Simona (apologies for spelling). These ladies helped us with ferry schedules, bus routes, restaurant reservations, directions, just to name a few. But not only were they helpful, they were truly happy to hear about the day's adventures. The hotel is perfectly located with beautiful lake views, easy walk to ferry, many restaurants/shops near by, in a beautiful piazza to sit and relax with a drink. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff working there just as wonderful. The rooms were cleaned DAILY - a rarity in today's hotels. Cleaning staff so kind and friendly. If you want to be in the middle of it all, without all the crowds, Hotel Garni Carona is it. You will not be disasspointed.
