DON’T STAY HERE - Upon arrival they heard that I was from Liverpool and denied entry based on the misinformation and dated rumours that they have hear about Scousers. People from Liverpool are good working people and we pride ourselves on our community as well as our ability to show compassion to others. The owners are giving privileged, pompous and arrogant. Scousers wouldn’t stay where they’re not welcome anyways, scum.

Wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you want to be spoken to like a piece of crap by the owners when you informed them that they was being really loud themselves shouting and had woken my baby up twice, it sounded like the owners where arguing and this woke myself and my baby throughout the night more than once. Then when I mentioned it upon checkout I can’t even explain how I was spoken to. I’d avoid if I was you and not even because of that experience but it’s not even worth the price too the toilet was very dirty and the bed had been broke and was hold back together with duct tape.

This place is an amazing hidden gem Lovely modern rooms with spectacular views First class breakfast & brilliant hosts We stayed with our friends for a family wedding & we had such fun Great pub in Spreyton & easy access to loads of lovely places PS the two beautifully behave doggies were an extra treat

Please be advised that you have to like dogs. Nicola said about her 2 dachshunds that the won't harm me. I said little ones are horrible and snappy. Nicola then suggested we left as I had insulted her dogs! It was their house. We had been up to our room. It was very small. The armchair was even in the bathroom! Needless to say we were relieved to go with a refund.

We had such a fabulous stay at this gorgeous house, set in the middle of the beautiful Devon countryside. Lovely room with fabulous views of the garden (a bird lover’s paradise) and the countryside beyond. Gorgeous breakfast cooked by the hosts and it was difficult to choose from the wide variety of options available. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and very accommodating, allowing us to check in a little early and having no problem with us arriving back late after a wedding. We really couldn’t have asked for more and very much hope to return.

We had a very relaxing stay. Nicola and Kerry looked after us so well. They were very accommodating and let us have a late check out. The little things mean so much, thank you for the thoughtful extras. Very quiet area, lovely for a country walk.
