Hotels near Casa Castelli-Croff, Milan

I have never been more pleasantly surprised than visiting this hotel. I was looking for an affordable hotel with a good location, so my expectations was mediocre. First impression couldn't be better with an amazing lobby, friendly service, and quality design throughout. The room was equally stylish, super clean, and with great space. Icing on the cake, I had forgot my shaving kit, but after visiting the reception they gave me a free shaving kit. I will definitely choose this hotel next time Im going back to Milano. It was honestly my best hotel experience!

Here is my story with this hotel. I booked a double room in the address show on google. When me and my boyfriend arrived the hotel, we were led to a completely different seperate building which is 300 metres far away from the hotel. When I showed my confirmation letter, hotel tried to claim I booked seperate building but I DID NOT. The guy in the reception came up with a solution and offered a tiny single room (attached) to us which was completely unacceptable. He said he will refund the money. I did not get any money back, neither I stayed in the hotel. I would not recommend anyone experiencing this. I am still trying to get a refund. Hotel was not helpful on this matter. There are much better options and metro goes nearly everywhere in Milan!

Francamente una delusione. Prenotare un 4 stelle ed essere deluso su tutte le aspettative dispiace molto. La struttura non si trova nelle immediate vicinanze della metropolitana. Ma questo è un aspetto che già conoscevo. Struttura molto grande con reception che non ti mette certo a tuo agio all’arrivo. Freddezza ed antipatia. Questo è il primo impatto. Un 4 stelle non può non avere un bar nella hall. Ci sono dei distributori automatici funzionanti con sole monete. Se si è sprovvisti di monete non si può consumare, in un 4 stelle! Pazzesco. Alla reception ti dicono subito che loro non hanno monete per il cambio perché le macchinette non sono gestite da loro. Ridicolo. Nella stanze, a noi hanno dato una familiare con angolo cottura, quindi servizio residence, c’era solo una bottiglietta d’acqua nel frigo della cucina. L’albergo andrebbe ristrutturato o perlomeno non può essere, allo stato attuale, qualificato come un 4 stelle. E lo voglio spiegare, secondo il mio modestissimo parere, con il supporto di fotografie. Le tende non sono mai state lavate. Sporche e puzzolenti. Avvolgibili che non si chiudono benissimo, con manipola per alzarli, visibili in foto. Sembrava di stare a casa di mia nonna. Televisione vecchia con decoder che noi a casa abbiamo cambiato da tempo. Il bagno è vergognoso. La descrizione del water la affido alla foto. Rubinetteria, flessibile della doccia, maniglia nella vasca da bagno (la doccia è troppo moderna da queste parti) pieno di calcare e ruggine. Tenda alla vasca, in un 4 stelle, improponibile. All’entrata, dal soffitto piove, l’impianto di condizionamento gocciola di continuo. Piastre dei fornelli elettrici della cucina completamente arrugginiti. Mi chiedo se non c’è un ente, un’associazione di categoria che controlla gli alberghi ed assegna le categorie. Il Contessa Jolanda dovrebbe avere l’onestà di declassarsi di qualche stellina e dovrebbe provvedere a dei corsi di accoglienza ai clienti per i propri dipendenti. Un cliente deve sentirsi prima di tutto ben accolto e coccolato. Se questo avvenisse, su molte delle problematiche esposte si potrebbe anche sorvolare. Pessima esperienza, da non ripetere.

Very nice hotel, a lot of space, but room, but a bit far from the town, I spend 50€ in the evening for taxi to get back to the hotel because public transport aren’t working till late, so at the end with same price I could actually booked hotel in town :)

Everything went well. However, the hotel is far from the center of milan and it takes about an hour by public transport (3 transfers by bus) to get there. Employees very nice, helpful, with knowledge of English. The hotel is clean.

We stayed here for a week as a family of 5 in the family room. There was a double bed, single bed and a bunk bed plus bathroom. The room was nice and beds comfy, perhaps a week was a bit long for us all to be in one room that wasn’t massive but on the whole we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean with friendly and helpful staff. There was a fridge in the room which had water and beer in which had a charge. Breakfast was included in the price was was great value for money, there was a good selection of pastries, eggs, sausages, toast, potatoes and fresh fruit. The kids loved the food. We also ate dinner in the restaurant three times and apart from one dish that wasn’t great the rest was lovely food especially the pasta and the wine was nice as well. There was a kids menu which they liked but we didn’t realize this until the second visit. There was also a lobby area and a bar area and outdoor courtyard. The hotel is quite far from the centre of Milan, it wasn’t walkable. There were a couple of buses nearby that went to the metro and then you could get that into town. The hotel does offer a shuttle service to the metro but this gets quite booked up so make sure to book in advance. We found the metro quite easy to use and the buses as well. Kids under 14 travel for free. You can use a single ticket for 90 minutes which is good. We explored a lot of Milan and we had lovely weather which helped. There is a park nearby and some shops including a Lidl. Many restaurants in the centre, some are quite expensive in the touristy areas. The main park in the centre is really nice with kids play area. We went up the Duomo di Milan, we went to see Inter Milan match and we caught the train to Lake Como which was stunning. I would also recommend the canals which was a lovely area with some nice restaurants. Milan was a lovely, cultural trip to do with kids, I totally recommend Neo Hotel but I think 5 days would be enough time.

Is something is worthy it in this hotel is the great quality on the stuff . Due to my Job I have to stay more than a month and ALL the people working there made me feel at home .. from the reception personal til the personal attending in the bar and at the breakfast . I stayed with my wife and son 16 years old I liked management, attention to customer expectations We arrive at the reception and there is Jean, a nice and professional, who explains everything to us Minibar in room included in price (never seen before) Free Wi-Fi in all rooms Functional, clean and modern room (peccate there were 3 single beds and not one single and one double, but perhaps it's because I didn't ask it in the booking and in hotels they are not visionary) Ciabutes, various bath products, great modern shower Breakfast with a very varied buffet included Covered parking included (in winter you can't find glasses brinked in the morning) Nice lake in front of the hotel Location a little distant, if you don't have the machine is a little isolated, but you see it in booking so you know it before booking Absolutely recommended

When they arrived, they could check in half an hour before, the phone in the room was burned and the light of the comfort was not working. I asked to make a check out later (at least one hour and I was asked to pay a early check out of € 30 (a little expensive x an hour more) Good cleaning The parking is a little limited, I had to leave x road my car

The bedroom is almost the same as the other, but there is a small room other than the shower room, there is a small kitchen and a round table, and it was very important because small things can be placed. There is also a elevator on the left and right ２ machines in a large hotel with a semicircular diameter. But there was no room number of my own because the hotel room number was not lined up in order, and when I asked the front desk, it was in the back. It's the first time that the room number is so difficult to understand. I recommend looking for it slowly
