[An Amazingly High-Quality Stay! This Hotel is Absolutely Legendary!] Choosing this hotel for my business trip was pure luck! The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the spacious and bright room—large windows offered mountain views, sunlight streamed warmly onto the wooden floors, and the low-saturation wood tones created a sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere. What impressed me most were the details: ✅ The bedding was so soft, like being wrapped in a cloud; a good night's sleep instantly relieved the fatigue of my journey. ✅ The bathroom featured a dark theme and a smart toilet; the shower pressure was so strong it felt like a spa treatment, and the vanity lighting was so bright you didn't even need extra light for makeup. ✅ The room even had a projector and a large screen! Drawing the curtains instantly transformed it into a private cinema—perfect for binge-watching shows from bed! ✅ The mini-bar offered complimentary bottled water and tea sets, and even plenty of clothes hangers, creating a truly relaxing ”home away from home” feel. The service was also excellent throughout; check-in at the front desk was incredibly fast, and any questions were answered instantly. The price-performance ratio is far superior to hotels in the same price range. I will definitely choose it again next time I come here for business or tourism!

The hotel is newly refurbished and the owners a married couple are the most welcoming, providing assistance with Great Wall excursions, they provided a driver and sandwiches for the day hike. The resturants local cuisine was exceptional taste, as was the quality with all local sourced produce, ingredients. You can walk to the shops at the end of the village and easily walk along the street of the valley… The owners speak English and possibly other languages. They were great hosts. I would stay there again.

Traveling solo, I chose The Landy Hotel, and it perfectly matched my aesthetic. The overall design features a simple, natural wood style with no excessive decoration. The room layout felt relaxed and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling window framed the garden view like a painting. The outdoor garden is meticulously maintained, with plants thoughtfully arranged and winding paths that make for a wonderfully quiet stroll, far from the hustle and bustle. The room was clean and tidy, the amenities felt high-quality, and the staff were very friendly. I felt incredibly peaceful staying here all day – it’s a great place to unwind and recharge alone. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Aranya.

I booked a double queen room for this trip, and honestly, I didn't have high expectations, but I was genuinely surprised the moment I opened the door. It's perfectly spacious for a family of four and more cost-effective than booking two separate rooms. The room was bright and roomy, and the cleanliness was impeccable. All the toiletries were disposable, which gave me peace of mind. The kids loved it too! The surrounding area is bustling with plenty of dining options. I highly recommend it to everyone!

This hotel deserves a five-star rating for its front desk service, which was far superior to the treatment I received at the Yage Huanju Hotel in Beidaihe. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, thoughtful, and anticipated all our needs. Although the parking lot is small, the attendants proactively helped us park the car. The restaurant staff were patient and provided timely service. All the hotel staff made us feel well taken care of and right at home. The only drawbacks were that the room was a bit small, and the ceiling height was low, which felt a little cramped. The outer pane of the double-glazed window was quite dirty, likely due to the difficulty of cleaning it.

We were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section. This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport). The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists.

The infinity pool was absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunset. Swimming while overlooking the mountains felt like something from a dream. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail had clearly been carefully considered, and the views from the room were spectacular. The breakfast and afternoon tea were another highlight. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and presented with great care. More importantly, you could feel the effort and hospitality behind every meal. It wasn’t just food—it was an experience that reflected the passion and dedication of the team. What truly sets this place apart is the people. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt cared for and at home. I have stayed in many hotels and guesthouses, but this place is truly special. If you are looking for beautiful scenery, tranquility, exceptional service, and a memorable experience, I cannot recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Our stay at Shanhai Premium Guesthouse was an incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating experience! The mountain surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with fresh crisp air that immediately washed away all our city stress. The room was cozy and well-designed, featuring traditional Chinese elements blended with modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was perfect for exploring the Wuling Mountain area, and we loved waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the misty mountain views every morning. The hiking trails nearby were well-maintained and offered stunning views of the landscape. Although it was a bit remote, that was exactly what we were looking for - a true escape from urban life. The local breakfast was delicious and featured fresh, organic ingredients from the area. We particularly enjoyed the evening stargazing, as the night sky was crystal clear away from city lights. This place is absolutely perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone looking to reconnect with nature. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to all our friends and family, and we plan to return again in the different seasons to experience the changing beauty of the mountains. The location is ideally situated, at about 200 meters from the main gate. Either walk the road to the Wall, not too steep, with plenty resting places. 20 minutes walk. There’s the Wall! Very well maintained and restored. We saw sunrise at 4:30 AM. They allow early entry and can organise a 5 minute  lift to the Wall. Even at 4:00 AM. Amazing! The hotel provided breakfast, so after the sunrise and some hiking, it was very well appreciated.

The hotel's location is pretty good, and the surroundings are very quiet. It's only about a 19-minute drive to Jinshanling Great Wall. However, the Jinshanling exit on the G45 Beijing-Chengde Expressway is closed, so you have to take a detour. When there are fewer guests, breakfast is served individually with generous portions. When it's busy, they open a buffet with a wider variety of options. The room was spacious, great for families. But there were a lot of ladybugs (or 'stink bugs' as some call them) that somehow got into the room; we had to clear them out as soon as we checked in. The bathroom drain was clogged, so the facilities definitely need some maintenance. It's probably okay for a 1-2 night stay.
