Traveling solo, I chose The Landy Hotel, and it perfectly matched my aesthetic. The overall design features a simple, natural wood style with no excessive decoration. The room layout felt relaxed and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling window framed the garden view like a painting. The outdoor garden is meticulously maintained, with plants thoughtfully arranged and winding paths that make for a wonderfully quiet stroll, far from the hustle and bustle. The room was clean and tidy, the amenities felt high-quality, and the staff were very friendly. I felt incredibly peaceful staying here all day – it’s a great place to unwind and recharge alone. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Aranya.

The rooms at Atour are consistently clean and comfortable, providing a sense of peace. The front desk staff and the service personnel on the 10th floor were very enthusiastic, attentive, and thoughtful. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of the Summer Palace, which allowed us to visit early and avoid tour groups, making for a great experience. We also didn't have to queue for the mountain shuttle before 8 AM. Furthermore, everything you could need is right downstairs, including various restaurants, bubble tea and coffee shops, malls, and supermarkets. I would definitely choose this place again next time.

Brilliant location for visiting the Chengde Mountain Resort. The hotel is located just on the other side of the wall of the park and is at a quiet corner 200m from the entrance. Very convenient for an early start to avoid the crowds. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff at hotel. Room is good size and spotlessly clean. Many good local eateries within a short walking distance for excellent food at very reasonable prices

The location is superb, with convenient transportation options like taxis and self-driving, making it hassle-free to get around. It's perfectly situated for shopping, dining, and sightseeing – ideal for short trips. The staff are warm and polite; check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. They were patient and helpful with any requests, like directions or luggage storage, providing excellent service. The breakfast spread is rich and varied, with hot dishes and porridge that are light and palatable. A nutritious breakfast in the morning keeps you energized for the whole day. This hotel offers great value for money; I'm very satisfied with the service, environment, and dining. I'll definitely choose this place first for my next trip. Highly recommended!

The room is very large, you can see the scenery outside the window, the yurt-like building in the distance is another AX hotel, the hotel service is very good 👍 It is very close to the Yudaokou scenic spot. If you are tired, you can go back to rest and come out to play! Dinner at the hotel, the noodles are especially recommended, especially delicious, the belly meat is also delicious, the hotel can also book roast whole lamb, roast leg of lamb, lamb chops; The beef ribs are a bit salty. I waited too long to give a fruit plate. I also gave dumplings to catch up with the Dragon Boat Festival. Breakfast is OK. Breakfast around is quite rich! I also sent a souvenir when I left the store. The front desk took the initiative to ask if I needed mineral water? 6 bottles of water in the room, enough! In short, the service is very good 👍

The trip to the Colorful Forest is perfect. 1. There are various sightseeing cars, carriages, camel riding, horse riding, and lakeside trains available in the Colorful Forest Scenic Area. If you are tired, take a car, and if you are not tired, hike. If you are hiking, the wooden plank road is also gentle, with basically no steep slopes, which is suitable for traveling with the elderly and children. 2. The scenic area costs 7 yuan for grilled sausages, 10 yuan for ice cream (a large cup), and 15 yuan for carrots for feeding deer (a large bag), which are friendly prices. 3. The scenic area is picturesque, and it is very filmy to take photos and check in. There are also various performances, which are very beautiful. 4. The service at the Squirrel Inn is very good. We arrived late and did not check in in time. At 7:30 in the evening, the front desk called to remind us that the bonfire party would start soon. 5. The bonfire party was so high, and there was a fireworks show. The scenic area was attentive. Disadvantages: Can a shelf be added to the bathroom and washroom? It is too inconvenient. Except for the bathroom, other aspects are perfect, a perfect parent-child trip. Come again next time.

The environment is good and the parking lot is large (with slow charging piles at about 1.5 CNY/kWh). The room is quiet, and the front desk staff are nice! For dinner, it seems the restaurant mainly caters to group events and wedding banquets (if 10 is perfect, the food taste would be about 5-6/10; the price of liquor is roughly double what you'd pay outside). The breakfast restaurant was chaotic with several tour groups. A few guests even got into arguments. I suggest putting a rope barrier from the entrance to the buffet counter, and having two staff members at the food stations to ensure everyone queues around the counter to pick their food, then directs them to the noodle station or seating areas. This would prevent arguments over queuing and grabbing tongs. It's such a minor issue, but the arguing made it impossible to enjoy the meal and even led to wasted food. 😤

Service: The hotel's service is very good, far beyond my expectations. The front desk is very professional and enthusiastic. The waiters will greet you kindly and comfortably no matter where they meet. Hygiene: Hygiene is very good both outside the hotel and in the guest rooms. The room we stayed in was basically hygienic, and everything you touched and saw was very clean. Facilities: The decoration of the hotel is relatively grand, and all facilities are basically complete. I like it very much. It will definitely be my first choice hotel when I go to Bashang in the future.

First, the pros: The hotel's location is excellent, just a stone's throw from Jinshanling Great Wall, which is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The hotel's design is also visually appealing, with individual courtyards forming a small village. The standard rooms are designed in a traditional enclosed style with a courtyard, offering good natural light and ventilation. Now for the cons: Firstly, some of the staff lack professional ethics (let's not even get into service quality). When we were checking out, we couldn't find a taxi. The concierge told us there was nothing they could do and we'd have to take an unlicensed car. Then, a male staff member offered to drive us for an exorbitant 600 yuan! Keep in mind, ride-sharing apps estimated the fare at just over 300 yuan, and a carpool would have been around 180 yuan! We later found out that there's a convenient tourist bus service at the visitor center near the hotel, which runs daily to Beijing Dongzhimen for only 80 yuan, but the staff deliberately withheld this information! Many international guests stay at this hotel; such responses would be a disgrace to Chinese hospitality! I hope the hotel takes this seriously and rectifies the situation. Another issue is the hotel restaurant, which is quite a rip-off. The 78-yuan smoked chicken had a thick layer of coriander under it, with very little meat! In short, while the hotel itself is beautiful, the service ruins the experience. I've included photos, both good and bad, so everyone can be aware and avoid potential pitfalls.
