The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the large bed was incredibly comfortable. The next morning, I went to the second floor for the buffet breakfast. The selection was diverse, a great mix of Chinese and Western options, and the flavors were rich. I was thoroughly satisfied with both the food and drinks!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a relatively bustling area, making shopping very convenient. The parking lot gets busy on weekends, but there's still always a spot for hotel guests. We arrived at noon and had Chengde cuisine on the fourth floor, which was very authentic, tasty, and reasonably priced. The hotel staff were friendly, and the rooms had a separate wet and dry area, were clean, hygienic, and well-equipped. The breakfast spread was extensive, and they refilled dishes quickly. My family found it very comfortable and were all very satisfied.

MMeiyouruguo1992This was my second stay at the hotel. Wulingshan Aranya has added a lighthouse park and a mountain-view restaurant, making it great for families with kids. Right behind the hotel, there's another restaurant and a grassy play area. For breakfast, you can choose from different options. We stayed two nights, so we tried Xiaoye's Japanese breakfast once and Shiwei Shangu's Chinese breakfast once, both of which were quite good. The complimentary public hot spring was also a nice touch, and it wasn't crowded, so the experience was pleasant. My only minor complaints are that the hotel's shuttle service is infrequent, leading to long waits during peak hours, and the staff's attitude wasn't as warm as during my previous visit. Also, we had to specifically ask for the raindrop cake and matcha experience, which wasn't offered as enthusiastically as before.

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and professional, quick to respond to requests, and even offered thoughtful local travel tips. As for facilities, the pool water was crystal clear, and the gym was well-equipped. Breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, it's fantastic value for money, and I highly recommend it whether you're traveling for business or leisure!

If you are tired, you can go back to rest and come out to play! Dinner at the hotel, the noodles are especially recommended, especially delicious, the belly meat is also delicious, the hotel can also book roast whole lamb, roast leg of lamb, lamb chops; The beef ribs are a bit salty. I waited too long to give a fruit plate. I also gave dumplings to catch up with the Dragon Boat Festival. Breakfast is OK. Breakfast around is quite rich!

1. There are various sightseeing cars, carriages, camel riding, horse riding, and lakeside trains available in the Colorful Forest Scenic Area. If you are tired, take a car, and if you are not tired, hike. If you are hiking, the wooden plank road is also gentle, with basically no steep slopes, which is suitable for traveling with the elderly and children.
2. The scenic area costs 7 yuan for grilled sausages, 10 yuan for ice cream (a large cup), and 15 yuan for carrots for feeding deer (a large bag), which are friendly prices.
3. The scenic area is picturesque, and it is very filmy to take photos and check in. There are also various performances, which are very beautiful.
4. The service at the Squirrel Inn is very good. We arrived late and did not check in in time. At 7:30 in the evening, the front desk called to remind us that the bonfire party would start soon.
5. The bonfire party was so high, and there was a fireworks show. The scenic area was attentive.
Disadvantages: Can a shelf be added to the bathroom and washroom? It is too inconvenient.
Except for the bathroom, other aspects are perfect, a perfect parent-child trip. Come again next time.

GGuest UserFirst off, they have their own parking lot with EV charging stations, which is super convenient for electric car owners. The room itself was great – the bedding was clean and comfortable. They even helped me bring my luggage to the room. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the freshly made wontons and noodles were a highlight. The hotel's location is fantastic, very close to the scenic area. It was so nice to be able to pop back to the hotel for a rest when I got tired from walking around in the crowds. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

GGuest UserLocation is unbeatable!! The hotel is right before the entrance gate to the Jinshanling Great Wall cable car station and trail heads. You can actually hike up to good view points on the Great Wall injust 30-40 minutes. The hotel is in good condition. The room is mostly clean and well maintained. The AC works well. Toilet has a weird smell but didn't bother me that much. Wish they provided conditioner (only shampoo and shower gel were in the bathroom). Restaurant has many options for Chinese dishes and so is the buffet breakfast. If I come back, definitely book it again for the excellent location.
