The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the large bed was incredibly comfortable. The next morning, I went to the second floor for the buffet breakfast. The selection was diverse, a great mix of Chinese and Western options, and the flavors were rich. I was thoroughly satisfied with both the food and drinks!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a relatively bustling area, making shopping very convenient. The parking lot gets busy on weekends, but there's still always a spot for hotel guests. We arrived at noon and had Chengde cuisine on the fourth floor, which was very authentic, tasty, and reasonably priced. The hotel staff were friendly, and the rooms had a separate wet and dry area, were clean, hygienic, and well-equipped. The breakfast spread was extensive, and they refilled dishes quickly. My family found it very comfortable and were all very satisfied.

MMeiyouruguo1992This was my second stay at the hotel. Wulingshan Aranya has added a lighthouse park and a mountain-view restaurant, making it great for families with kids. Right behind the hotel, there's another restaurant and a grassy play area. For breakfast, you can choose from different options. We stayed two nights, so we tried Xiaoye's Japanese breakfast once and Shiwei Shangu's Chinese breakfast once, both of which were quite good. The complimentary public hot spring was also a nice touch, and it wasn't crowded, so the experience was pleasant. My only minor complaints are that the hotel's shuttle service is infrequent, leading to long waits during peak hours, and the staff's attitude wasn't as warm as during my previous visit. Also, we had to specifically ask for the raindrop cake and matcha experience, which wasn't offered as enthusiastically as before.

GGuest UserLove this place ! Stayed 3 separate times. Once last year and twice this year. Nicest hotel so far in china I’ve been to. Honestly can’t beat this hotel for the price. I went before the 7 day holiday and during it. Was way more expensive during it but still amazing

Wife mentioned we are repeat customers and they gave us free spa coupon which was great.

GGuest UserThe hotel is excellent! The rooms are clean and tidy. Xiao Liang and Xiao Han at the front desk were incredibly warm and patient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit the Chengde Mountain Resort!

All the facilities were complete and functioned perfectly, and the layout was well-designed. The hotel's overall ambiance was elegant and quiet, and it was conveniently located for getting around. The staff were warm, courteous, and responded promptly to all requests. It was a comfortable experience throughout my stay, highly recommend with five stars!

GGuest UserI stayed in this hotel because five years ago I stayed in here too and had a good impression of their breakfast, this time however, the hotel has shown its age. The room is still clean but even a non smoking room has slight smoky smell. The breakfast does not match its price tag.

The hotel's biggest highlight is its abundant breakfast buffet, offering both Chinese and Western options, including hearty dishes like lamb with scallions and Kung Pao chicken. The homemade yogurt is quite delicious, and you can add various toppings yourself. Overall, the service was good.

1. There are various sightseeing cars, carriages, camel riding, horse riding, and lakeside trains available in the Colorful Forest Scenic Area. If you are tired, take a car, and if you are not tired, hike. If you are hiking, the wooden plank road is also gentle, with basically no steep slopes, which is suitable for traveling with the elderly and children.
2. The scenic area costs 7 yuan for grilled sausages, 10 yuan for ice cream (a large cup), and 15 yuan for carrots for feeding deer (a large bag), which are friendly prices.
3. The scenic area is picturesque, and it is very filmy to take photos and check in. There are also various performances, which are very beautiful.
4. The service at the Squirrel Inn is very good. We arrived late and did not check in in time. At 7:30 in the evening, the front desk called to remind us that the bonfire party would start soon.
5. The bonfire party was so high, and there was a fireworks show. The scenic area was attentive.
Disadvantages: Can a shelf be added to the bathroom and washroom? It is too inconvenient.
Except for the bathroom, other aspects are perfect, a perfect parent-child trip. Come again next time.

GGuest UserLocation is unbeatable!! The hotel is right before the entrance gate to the Jinshanling Great Wall cable car station and trail heads. You can actually hike up to good view points on the Great Wall injust 30-40 minutes. The hotel is in good condition. The room is mostly clean and well maintained. The AC works well. Toilet has a weird smell but didn't bother me that much. Wish they provided conditioner (only shampoo and shower gel were in the bathroom). Restaurant has many options for Chinese dishes and so is the buffet breakfast. If I come back, definitely book it again for the excellent location.
