I don't usually review places, but I couldn't help but recommend them. It was so relaxing and comfortable here, and everyone of all ages could find something fun. The tent room's facilities exceeded my expectations, with a smart toilet, private bathroom, and comfortable bedding. Bottled water and a kettle were also provided. It was a bit chilly in the mountains at night on May 1st, but the air conditioning provided heat and an electric blanket, so I slept soundly. I experienced the wildness, the facilities were convenient, and the service was just the right amount of friendly. It was a very comfortable stay. I felt the owner's attentiveness and dedication in every aspect, from the supplies to the quality of the food and the design. It was absolutely amazing. It's a great place to escape from the world. There are deer, black pigs, and poultry nearby. You can climb a small hill to the observation deck to enjoy the breeze, bask in the sun on a lounge chair, watch ducks swimming in the water, and see bubbles bursting in the sun. There's also a big, spoiled dog. The cafe is perfect for playing chess and reading. It's a perfect place to lie down and daydream. Falling asleep under the starry sky with the sound of gurgling water is quiet and comfortable. A light rain in the morning brings another scene. The breakfast is simple but delicious, especially the pickled vegetables I pickled myself. I like it here and will come again.

Overall, it was pretty good. It's newly opened and very clean, and the location is easy to find. On the first floor, the tap water was yellow, probably due to a blockage. The room was very dry in winter, making it uncomfortable and so dry I couldn't sleep. The hotel breakfast was very average; there wasn't much to eat.

Their service was exceptional; they actively helped me find a parking spot and coordinated the charging station late at night. Yanming Lake Hotel gave me the most profound impression during my trip this year. I am very satisfied with the environment and tent room. When we checked in that day, a total of four families stayed in tents. It was very quiet and the scenery was super beautiful. I regretted why I didn’t choose this place on the first day. It was only half an hour away from Ulan Butong. Shortly after checking in that day, it started to rain. There was thunder and lightning, and I even photographed beautiful lightning. You can feel the wind and rain outside in the tent. Then the power went out for ten minutes. Rainwater also began to flow into the house from the cracks in the tent. I was a little panicked at first and asked customer service. The customer service said not to worry, as the rain would be lighter and I could change to another tent. Later I discovered that as long as it wasn’t windy, it wouldn’t matter if it rained (it rained heavily that night, so I slept very soundly). I also encountered a wild deer running wild by the lake. I asked customer service and they said it was not raised by them and it should be wild. You can really reserve a day for Yanming Lake and just stay there. Looking at the endless grassland at the entrance of the tent, you feel so relaxed. The only regret was that it was raining and I couldn't see the stars in the sky. I sincerely recommend it to everyone. The tents here can be said to be the ceiling of the camping industry. Friends who like grasslands and outdoors must come.

This stay at the Holiday Inn Express exceeded my expectations. Before coming to Chengde, I did a lot of research, and my previous experiences at Holiday Inn Express hotels elsewhere had them feeling quite old. So, I was a bit hesitant when booking this one, but it turned out to be surprisingly good! The hotel has been recently renovated, so the facilities are very new, everything is clean, and the service is attentive. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere, and there are all sorts of restaurants, big and small, nearby, so dining is a breeze.

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment and fresh air, and both the facilities and cleanliness are impeccable. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious. Overall, the service was satisfactory. However, I have to complain about a front desk staff member who answered the phone between 7 and 10 PM on the 31st. The first time I reported the washing machine wasn't working, she actually told me it was leaking and advised me not to use it. I ended up fixing and using it myself. The second time I called about the shower water not getting hot, her response was even more ridiculous: she told me to just keep running the water until it got hot. I wasted nearly half an hour, and the water never got warm. In the end, a housekeeping staff member came and simply inserted the gas card, which solved the problem. What's worse is her terrible attitude; she was argumentative and refused to admit her incompetence in handling issues, acting as if she knew everything. She definitely deserves a bad review! On another note, the hotel is very close to Jinshanling Great Wall, which is absolutely worth a visit!
