3-Star Hotels in Chengde

Beijing is about to get a heat stroke, so I chose a two-day and one-night grassland trip. I looked for many B&Bs (because I was with a puppy, so I couldn't talk about hotels). Finally, I chose this one. First, pets don't need cleaning fees, and second, this store is one of the few hotels with air conditioning in Datan Town! Although it's a small detail, if you go to the grassland to escape the heat in summer, it's inevitable that it will rain, and the room of the B&B will inevitably be damp. Turning on the heater in summer is a joke. At this time, the air-conditioned room will make people feel dry and cool. Although it's a small matter, the improvement in comfort can only be known by comparison. There are not many guests in the B&B, it won't be noisy, and it's very quiet at night. The location of the B&B is very close to Ma Town, about half an hour's drive from the grassland sky road. The room is very large, very new, and very clean. There is also a small courtyard outside the room. It's very comfortable to be alone in a daze, look at the mountain view, and have a little drink. It's very enjoyable to watch a movie on the huge projection. After a day of play, taking a bath in the big bathtub at night can eliminate a day's fatigue. There are also drinks, souvenirs and afternoon tea on the day of arrival. The owner and staff of the B&B are very kind and down-to-earth. The owner also recommended a free attraction, which is great! Picture 1 is the room, and the last two are the section of Tianlu closest to the B&B. I personally feel that it is much better than the section in Zhangbei, with pure beauty. I hope that I can still see this level when I go again.

The hotel is directly opposite the Bifengmen parking lot, and it's about a 20-minute walk to Lizheng Gate of the Mountain Resort. The quad room with bunk beds was very family-friendly for our family with two children. While the hotel's facilities are fairly basic, I must particularly praise their excellent 9.9 Mountain Resort day tour and the front desk staff. First, regarding the Mountain Resort day tour: it lasted a full 5 hours, and our guide, Xiao Qi, didn't waste a single minute. He provided thorough explanations, meticulously planned our route, and there were absolutely no sales pitches or additional charges. For such an honest and dedicated guide, the hotel deserves a huge commendation! And then there's the front desk staff – every single person was beaming with smiles. They offered detailed information, provided attentive service, and went above and beyond to assist with any request. They even helped us cut a watermelon we bought, booked tickets for a show, and thoughtfully provided cushions for us as we were heading out. Truly heartwarming service! Hidden gem: Just down the stairs next to the hotel is the Temple of Confucius. Plus, there's a highly popular lamb soup spot nearby, serving delicious *shaobing* (sesame flatbreads)!

The young lady at the hotel was very enthusiastic; she even came out to help with our luggage, and her service attitude was excellent. The hotel room was spacious, looked clean and tidy, and all the disposable amenities were readily available. The hotel's location is great, right next to Jinlong Shopping Plaza, and very close to the Summer Resort, within walking distance. It's also not far from the Eight Outer Temples scenic area, about a 10 yuan taxi ride away. I had a wonderful stay this time, and I'll choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengde.

Facilities: The disadvantage is that there is no elevator, the store is still very enthusiastic, help with luggage, the hotel has a restaurant, cafe, bar, bar and billiard table, the south of the hotel is a horse riding club, living here will not be boring Hygienic: OK, the sheets and bedding are white, the dumplings are a bit damp Environment: It is a distance from the main road and the village. It is relatively quiet, but the sound is average. There are young people who are still loud in the corridor at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night. I hope the store can remind the obligation. I booked this guesthouse with a 'let's see' attitude. It was pouring rain on the way there, and I almost turned back, but when I arrived, I was incredibly impressed! I brought my own stove to barbecue in the yard, and the guesthouse owner (brother) was super patient, helping us prepare everything, even starting the fire and teaching us some tricks. He was also mindful not to disturb us, leaving after he showed us what to do – truly enthusiastic and nice! Also, the guesthouse owner (sister) was fantastic. The next morning, she made us a huge breakfast spread. There was so much food that the two of us were stuffed, only managing to finish two plates. The timing of our visit was perfect. There were very few people in the courtyard, almost like having the whole place to ourselves, which made for an amazing experience! The weather was also very comfortable, neither too hot nor too cold, and walking along the path was incredibly refreshing. I'm planning to go back next time with friends and my dog, and also try the whole roasted lamb that was featured on CCTV2! 😍

When I woke up in the morning, I sat at the door of the cabin facing the morning sun and meditated. In the evening, there was a fiery red sunset. At night, I could clearly see the Ursa Major and Virgo. The staff told me that if the weather is good, I can see the Milky Way. I will definitely come again next time I have a chance! The service is attentive, especially the restaurant's mixed wild vegetables taste great, very refreshing, and a must-order dish!

A person driving from Chifeng plans to go to Saihanba to see. Originally, this hotel was not my first choice, but I clicked to see the hotel environment taken by netizens, and I lived here immediately! When I arrived at the hotel, the beauty in the photo appeared in front of me. In fact, you don't have to go to the surrounding attractions to enjoy the surrounding blue sky, white clouds, green mountains and green waters. I took advantage of the sunset and drove the car near the lake of Yanming and took some photos with the grass lake. The waiters in the store are also very warm and thoughtful, and the inquiries about my understanding of the surrounding attractions are also detailed recommendations. When I checked out, I ignored the toiletries that I brought in the bathroom, and the store also contacted me in time. Finally, I asked them to help me express it home, thank you very much~

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and the environment is as quiet and beautiful as ever. The facilities are complete, the rooms are clean and hygienic, and the breakfast offers a rich and delicious variety. The staff are also incredibly warm and attentive. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking, and you can even spot many cute little animals. I'll most likely be back to stay again~!

This stay at the Holiday Inn Express exceeded my expectations. Before coming to Chengde, I did a lot of research, and my previous experiences at Holiday Inn Express hotels elsewhere had them feeling quite old. So, I was a bit hesitant when booking this one, but it turned out to be surprisingly good! The hotel has been recently renovated, so the facilities are very new, everything is clean, and the service is attentive. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere, and there are all sorts of restaurants, big and small, nearby, so dining is a breeze.

I don’t speak Chinese, but the staff there were very friendly and helpful. From checking in to checking out, the front desk staff helped me like a personal assistant. She even scheduled a massage and taxi service. Local guests I met at the hot pools were also very nice and welcoming. This is somewhat old place, but I like places with history. Be aware of the large portion of dishes you get at the restaurant. I couldn’t finish all the dishes as a solo traveler.
