I recently stayed at the Wyndham Grand Hot Spring Resort in Liyang, and I had high expectations given its excellent rating on Ctrip. Upon arriving at the hotel parking lot, a butler promptly met us with a shuttle to take us to check-in. The service was fantastic and very thoughtful, with every staff member greeting us with a smile. Since the hotel is relatively new, the facilities are great, and I was impressed to find Guerlain toiletries provided. While the hotel features an alpaca farm and Dinosaur Valley, which are perfect for younger children, the kids' club was a bit small and underwhelming, which was a slight letdown. My favorite part was definitely the infinity pool and hot springs located on the cliff top. They offer a fantastic ambiance during 'blue hour' and the views are stunning. It was incredibly comfortable, even on a summer evening, as it wasn't too hot. The breakfast was also excellent. I'd definitely consider a second stay here, especially if checking in on a Friday when it's less crowded for an even better experience. [Proud R]

We stayed in a loft-style room with our child. The room was very spacious; even if two adults and two children stayed together, it wouldn't feel cramped at all. There was even a bag of building blocks in the room for the kids to play with. With the heater on, it was very warm both upstairs and downstairs. I've stayed in many family-friendly hotels with my child, and this one is definitely the best in terms of service. The staff were genuinely enthusiastic. Before check-in, the butler kept in touch with me about various activities, and the hotel kept bringing us things—drinks, fruit, afternoon tea, and a heartwarming bowl of porridge in the evening. We were already full just from the complimentary items! Li Rencui from the housekeeping department was very warm and attentive, even washing our child's clothes for us—we felt so bad! We hadn't made a reservation for afternoon tea, but the staff proactively arranged something for us. The staff member next to the hot pot pool was also very attentive, constantly reminding the children to check their feet for blisters if they soaked for too long. My child soaked for too long and refused to get out, resulting in wrinkles on their feet, and the staff member even thoughtfully found some band-aids for them. It is spacious and bright, with excellent lighting, clean and tidy, and a fruit and beverage basket was given. The details show the care of the homestay owner. In terms of facilities, the toilet drains slowly and needs to be pressed for a longer time. But other homestays really have everything, and they are all very modern. The swimming pool is just under the outside window👇, which is great! It is particularly worth mentioning that the homestay owner also provided thoughtful service and suggested that we go to the hotel for dining and swimming, saying that the swimming pool there is larger and more comfortable, which makes people feel very thoughtful. In addition, the staff of the homestay are all handsome men and beautiful women, and they will say hello, which makes people feel full of enthusiasm. In the B&B, you can not only enjoy the comfortable accommodation environment, but also taste the local fruits, which is really a pleasure to stay in. The room was spacious and even had a small balcony. The facilities were a bit dated, and there was a slight leak under the sink. It was made with freshly picked shepherd's purse from spring, which was incredibly comforting for a light hunger after a soak.

This time, I traveled with my dog, and the hotel provided a small gift, a bed, and a bowl for him. Pet-related facilities were also readily available throughout the hotel, which was really great. The only downside was that the dog bed was a bit small; my dog ​​couldn't sleep in it properly, haha. The hotel environment is superb. Just like its name suggests, it's situated by a lake and nestled in the woods. The treehouses are all individual villas, very quiet, and perfect for those who enjoy peaceful scenery. From the receptionist to the security guard and the restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly friendly. Thumbs up! ^_^ The hotel is very close to the entrance to Tianmu Lake, allowing for multiple entries and exits during my stay. If I ever visit Liyang again, I'll definitely book this hotel again!
