In the old house, an uncle was experiencing his life and career with all his heart. The first time I saw him, he was wearing a snow-white shirt, not tall, and his hair was combed cleanly. He looked like a well-organized person. The uncle tidied the room in the old house, breaking my previous impression that the old house was dark and damp. My daughter and I drove here by ourselves. The uncle knew in advance that we needed to prepare lunch, but when we arrived, we found that the lunch prepared by the uncle was a full table of dishes. The dishes retained their original flavor and tasted really good. My daughter and I also made a small mistake in the old house and dirty the floor of the old house. The uncle scrubbed the floor and did not blame us at all. Instead, he continued to entertain us better and shared peaches and dates with us. I was very touched by the uncle's simplicity and kindness. The hotel is in central location, walking distance to the old part of town and surrounded by food options. All rooms face a busy intersection with traffic and commerce noise starting early in the morning until 10pm. Windows will block part of noise but not all. Gym is just a pair of treadmills, don't expect a workout space. Staff is very attentive and willing to help. Beds, pillows and sheets are comfortable and the shower is good. However, if you are not a smoker, I don't recommend staying here, nor in any other Ji hotel. I travel extensively and tried Ji hotels in several Chinese cities from North to South. They are consistent with service, cleanliness and bed comfort, but all of them have a major issue of not enforcing the non smoking rule, and besides that, their air conditioner system brings smokey air from different rooms directly into yours. It is a pity. Unfortunately, beautiful China is full of selfish smokers. We need better enforcement and at least air purifiers in each room.

Time is limited, so it seems to be a good choice to choose Yunying Heart Valley to stay for one night among many homestays in Songyang. You can drive here directly during holidays, which is much more convenient. The environment is quiet and it feels like you have occupied a small hill. You can walk along the trails to Chenjiapu and Xikeng around to avoid the crowds. The restaurant is also good. Overall, I recommend it.

This village is still in the early stages of development, and its simplicity is its biggest feature. The room is clean and tidy, intelligently controlled, the log wind is warm and comfortable, the bedding is soft, and the sleep is particularly practical. The boss and the proprietress are warm and thoughtful. They personally come to the car to help with the luggage. They have always updated the road conditions. The service is intimate and meticulous. The breakfast is light and delicious, and the farmhouse is full of flavor. The viewing platform of the homestay is super suitable for drinking tea in a daze. It takes 20 minutes to walk to Chenjiapu, which is much more convenient than driving. When I come back, I will choose this homestay, the first choice for Songyang vacation.

I stayed here during a business trip. I initially booked one night and was extremely satisfied! I then booked three more nights. The room was spacious, comfortable, and bright. The smart home system was convenient to use. There was a free, huge parking lot. The hotel's location was excellent, just a ten-minute walk from the Ming and Qing Dynasty Ancient Street. There were robots in the lobby offering free food delivery, and the area around the hotel was full of authentic local restaurants! A top choice for travel accommodation!

If you have enough time, spending a whole day relaxing at the hotel, sipping tea or coffee, would be incredibly pleasant. So, the environment is definitely a big plus. And with supposedly 120 rooms, they clearly have substantial resources. We checked in on the 3rd, and the hotel was pretty much fully booked. It must be quite popular in that area. Honestly, for a hotel nestled in the mountains to maintain such a high standard of environment, they're probably one of the only ones. I have to say, the food at the hotel's restaurant was good, especially the slow-cooked salted chicken. It was even better than what I had later at a highly-rated restaurant in the county. My only minor suggestion would be for the dishes to come out a little faster. 😎 The room design isn't entirely flat, so the views from rooms on higher levels might be even better (though the lower levels aren't far behind). The rooms come with a bathtub and a balcony, with a floor-to-ceiling window offering a direct view of the mountains. It's truly delightful to feel so immersed in nature. Facilities and Services: There's a small convenience store within the resort that offers room delivery, which is a thoughtful touch. They also have a cafe and an infinity pool. If you plan on swimming, remember to bring your swimwear! There's also an open-air bakery where you can watch them bake bread. If you don't want to trek up and down, you can also buy from the cafe directly, and they'll send it up to you, offering more options. After all that, my final advice is to try to visit during off-peak times, because the value for money is absolutely fantastic!
