Guest UserThis is a fantastic hotel, so beautifully designed. I was blown away by the room - very big, with a very comfortable soft bed, big bath tub, a path with stepping stones to the sink area then smart shower that played wonderful French music in the morning. The view was of greenery. The hotel owners were very helpful and friendly and took me to and from the waterfalls and my shuttle bus and ensured my transport yo and from the hotel ran smoothly. The breakfast was very good. It is a few minutes drive from the falls. There are restaurants in the area for food. There is a main road near by so the hotel provides earplugs but anyway the traffic stops at night so you don't hear it. A wonderful place to stay when visiting the falls.

Guest UserThe service was excellent! The butler was super responsive, even helping my child print out homework and giving us coffee vouchers. Just a heads-up, the coffee shop doesn't open until 11 AM. The environment is lovely and very quiet, and my child had a blast swimming.
To help you improve even further, here are a few suggestions:
We stayed in the Xue Zhu room, and the bed frame on the first floor creaks when you sit on it. It would be great if that could be fixed.
It would be helpful to have smaller pillows available for children.
Also, it might be a good idea to ask about check-in times beforehand and do the pest control earlier. The mosquito coils were quite strong, and my nose felt really uncomfortable at night 😷.
When cleaning, if the showerhead could be adjusted to a handheld spray, it would prevent adults from getting wet when turning on the water to bathe children.
I look forward to an even better experience on my next stay! Still highly recommend this place.

LaohudexiaotuFacilities: A washing machine! This is the first time I've seen every room come with its own individual washing machine, which is truly amazing.
Cleanliness: The wet and dry areas are separated, and overall it's pretty good.
Environment: It's surrounded by guesthouses, some still under construction, all quite close by. Sleeping in late isn't really an option. It's not close to the scenic area, so you'll need the owner to provide transportation.
The owner is very enthusiastic and happy to help with anything you need or if something is missing.

Hotel staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms were adequately clean. Highlight of our stay was definitely all the cute animals! The hotel front desk provides little bags of carrots (first one is for free and then you can purchase some more) to feed the animals. There were ducks, geese, swans, deer, rabbits donkeys horses miniature horses etc freely roaming about. The area is surprisingly clean considering all the animals - minimal smells and very little poop on the ground. Overall very pleasant resort experience.
Hotel can assist with purchasing tickets to Huangguoshu waterfall scenic area, and also offers to pick up/drop off services.

WuxianlvjudeguodaThe front desk staff were warm and polite, and the room was incredibly comfortable with very clean floors. It was a really pleasant stay. They even offer a free shuttle to Huaguoshan and the Great Waterfall, and there's a cute delivery robot that brought our meals, which was a huge hit with the kids! It created some wonderful memories. Highly recommend.

XiaodaiyuanyueThis hotel truly exceeded my expectations – it's a rare find!
I checked in on Dragon Boat Festival. The day before, I had a terrible experience at a certain four-star chain hotel in Guiyang, so I arrived at this hotel around 10 am to check in. To my surprise, they were happy to let me check in so early. During the process, the front desk staff, noticing my two large suitcases, proactively offered to have them sent to my room. This is a service even many five-star hotels no longer offer.
Upon entering the room, I was impressed by its spaciousness, easily over 40 square meters. The Manxin Mansion is nearby, and on the day I stayed, their prices were roughly double that of my room, yet their space likely couldn't compare to mine. The bathroom was unique with a double vanity and a bathtub – a rare design. The size of this room is comparable to the standard rooms in top-tier hotels within Guiyang, like Zhenpo. The bath amenities were the same brand as Pullman's, and even with most five-star hotels now using large, refillable bottles, they still provide individual small bottles, including four, one of which is a body lotion. The hand soap was also from the same brand. The drinking water was from Guizhou Hotel, which looked much better than the mineral water found in many chain hotels. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the bed size was also quite generous for a hotel of this caliber. The comb was of high quality, the kind you can reuse. The toothpaste provided with the toothbrush was Suke, which is a rare premium at this price point. They even thoughtfully provided a disposable bath liner for the bathtub, and the bathtub faucet was also perfect. The tea bags were a branded selection, and I even received complimentary welcome fruit.
Due to personal reasons, I didn't get to try breakfast, so I won't comment on it extensively. However, given the excellent condition of the room, I believe the breakfast wouldn't disappoint either.
As a hotel located within a scenic area, it's incredibly close to the entrance of Huangguoshu Waterfall. There are also many restaurants nearby, so dinner is never an issue. Honestly, I have to wonder, can a hotel at this price point really make a profit?
Immediately after checking in, I recommended this hotel to my friends. At this price, I don't think any other hotel can compare.

YouyiqiuThe room was nice, clean, and had no strange odors. The duvet wasn't too thick, which was perfect for the season. It's about a 10-minute walk from the Huangguoshu ticket office, which is also the main archway/third visitor center. If you don't feel like walking, the hotel offers a shuttle service. Breakfast was simple but had everything you needed, and there's a dedicated parking lot. Just a few minutes' walk away, there's also a street with unique local restaurants.

Guest UserTraveling with my parents and child, we opted for the family twin room on the second floor, which was much drier than the ground floor. Since there's no elevator, the staff kindly helped us with our luggage, and their service was excellent.
On the day of check-in, the front desk proactively informed us about the quick access to the Grand Waterfall. As we were short on time, we just dropped off our luggage and headed straight to the waterfall. I must say, it was incredibly convenient; if we had stayed outside the scenic area, we probably wouldn't have made it that afternoon or would have finished quite late.
The restaurant also didn't require advance reservations. We just ordered after returning from the Grand Waterfall. For a restaurant within a scenic area, the food tasted surprisingly good. Do remember that the express通道 closes at 6:30 PM, so keep an eye on your return time. The Water Curtain Cave requires advance booking, and you won't be able to get in if you try to book on the same day. We had booked ahead, and it went very smoothly.
The service was outstanding. At one point, I wanted to buy milk for my child, but the hotel car wasn't available. The front desk staff even offered to have a colleague help us get it, but we didn't want to trouble anyone and ended up not buying it.
For our return journey, we went directly from Tianxing Bridge to the Beer Plaza to catch our ride. The hotel even delivered our luggage directly to the Beer Plaza, which was fantastic.
Visiting during the off-peak season (not summer), staying inside the scenic area, and without purchasing VIP tickets, we still had a wonderful time. Highly recommended. The hotel was also running a travel photography event recently, offering three retouched photos. The photography was great, and there was no pressure to buy additional photos; even when we didn't, their attitude remained excellent.
For those traveling with elderly parents or children, staying within the scenic area is definitely more convenient. I highly recommend Qianshouju.

Soh Kien PengThis is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in China. It is newly opened just last year and the amenities and facilities are so modern and clean. It is relatively cheap at less than S$35/- per night and I booked it via Trip.com. Breakfast is provided. Although it is not the continental buffet, the noodles, eggs, buns, soya bean, sweet potatoes, vegetables, etc are equally nutritious and stomach filling. There is a washing machine and dryer near the lobby and the counter staff, Yang De Rong was so helpful and considerate that she hang up the laundry for us after the drying in order not to disturb our sleep. One of the staff even drove us to the entrance of Huangguoshu Waterfall even though it is only a short 10 mins walk to the attraction. During our departure, the boss of the hotel personally drove us to the coach station so that we could take the public bus to the high speed train station. The service is marvellous and I strongly recommend this hotel to visitors to Huangguoshu Waterfall. I will stay here again if I come again.

Guest UserHefayuan Hotel Stay Experience
My overall experience at Hefayuan Hotel was very pleasant. The location is convenient for getting around. The hotel's exterior is quite unique, with its ethnic architectural design adding a distinct local flavor. There's also Baiweixuan Private Kitchen downstairs, offering a wide array of dining options.
I stayed in a twin room. The room was spacious and well-organized, with two neat beds and soft, comfortable bedding that ensured a good night's sleep. The window offered an open view of the surrounding scenery, and the room had good natural light and ventilation. The amenities were comprehensive; the air conditioning ran steadily, and facilities like the TV and kettle were all available, meeting everyday travel needs.
The decor was simple yet elegant, and the room was clean and tidy with good maintenance down to the details. The soundproofing was decent, and the environment was quiet and not noisy, allowing for undisturbed rest. The only minor drawback was that the bedding was a bit wrinkled; it would have been better if it had been smoothed out.
Overall, it offers excellent value for money. The facilities are complete, the environment is quiet, and it's convenient for travel and dining. It's suitable for business trips or temporary stays, making it a top-notch choice for accommodation in the area. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip.
