Hotels near Woolworth, Munich

We stayed here 2 nights, from June 12 to 14 .This hotel is perfectly located just steps from Munich Central Station, with an overall modern look and concept. All 4 of us(two adults, two teenagers) checked in after 11pm; the front desk looked tired, but so were we. There are two elevators leading to the rooms and both are fit enough for more than 4 people. We had two rooms right next to each other: Room 445(two twin beds), and Room 447(one double bed). Both rooms were spacious and clean, and beds were comfortable. WI-FI connection was great. Bathroom was huge given European standards, water temperature was perfect for both hot and cold fans. AC temperature was perfect. We had a peaceful sleep and the morning after we went downstairs for a magnificent breakfast: water, coffee, tea, juices, hot chocolate, pancakes, scrambled eggs, croissants, assorted cheese, assorted bread, fruits, are only about a third part of the breakfast items. Pretty close to dining places(walking distance) but somewhat far from historical places, check-out was a breeze, would stay here again

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per fare l' ultimo dell' anno a Monaco. Sicuramente il punto di forza è per la sua posizione invidiabile. 5 minuti di camminata a piedi dal centro storico, ristoranti, bar, locali, e attaccato alla stazione metro/tram/bus. L' hotel dispone anche di un parcheggio interno a pagamento, caro e poco pratico se si ha una macchina abbastanza lunga o alta, non si riesce ad entrare. (Attenzione inoltre che è in zona a emissioni ristretta e dovete avere bollino verde) Per quanto riguarda la struttura è un po' anni 90' ma ha quello che serve. Camera ok per quanto riguarda letto e accessori, molto meno per la pulizia. Abbiamo trovato salviette con qualche macchia di sporco, idem i cuscini e la moquette a terra presentava chiazze qua e là di nero. Colazione buona, non è super provvista dal punto di vista del ”dolce” ( si ha la scelta tra 2 torte e qualche cornetto, biscotti, e Yogurt), per il salato nulla da dire, pane, formaggio, uova, salsicce, affettati. Complimenti alla ragazza che gestisce la colazione, cordiale e disponibile. Purtroppo non tutto lo staff è stato professionale. In reception molta freddura e distaccamento, se lavori in quel ruolo, non pretendo di avere il saluto tutte le volte che passo, ma almeno il buon giorno di primo mattino e la buona sera prima di uscire sarebbe di cordialità.. Ma nonostante i nostri ”HI” o ”Halo”, non abbiamo avuto risposte. Poi solitamente i servizi aggiuntivi si pagano alla fine del soggiorno, invece mi è stato chiesto di pagare subito tutti i supplementi che ho richiesto (2 giorni di parcheggio e 2 colazioni X2), è un po' brutto per un cliente, sembra che non ti fidi che ti posso pagare altre richieste. Mi aspettavo un qualcosa di più , però è andata così.

I really haven't got a bad word to say about this hotel. The rooms are at the top of a block of flats, so the views across the park are fantastic. Being in the Olympic Park, I assumed the hotel would be dated, but it isn't. Very modern and spotlessly clean. It is also very quite here, and there are plenty of shops and small cafes in the complex. Fantastic buffet breakfast to suit all tastes. Our trip from the airport on the S1 was a nightmare, as there was a signal failure, so we had to get a taxi to the hotel. (Apparently this isn't uncommon) A taxi from the airport to the hotel is around 90 Euros. The U3 is a three minute walk from the hotel, and the journey into the city centre is only arond 15 minutes. If I was to visit Munich, I would stay here again.

Good location close to the interstate. Police and fire station nearby. Three underground stations in walking distance. Bus stop over the street. Own parking garage (€15/ngt) which is definitely a pro as free parking around there is kinda non-existent. Rooms are really small, No desk, not even a closet just hangers next to one bedside. Room was very clean, but had damaged light fixture. Breakfast was nice, daily change of ingredients. Love the pancake machine ! Negative was a bad smell in front of the elevators, no bench at the front and they tried to charge me twice for parking.

The hostel is so near to the Ostbahnhof. You can go to the city center and all touristic must-see places via subway, underground or buses in a very short time. The hostel has a very good, peaceful location. You can watch wonderful Munich city view from the window of your room. It is a so clean, comfortable, well-designed hostel. The room I stayed was clean and comfortable. My roommates were respectful, kind people. Staff working at the hostel are so kind, understanding, smiled-face and helpful people. I thank them all. As a solo traveller, I am really happy to stay such an amazing, comfortable place in Munich. I strongly recommend this beautiful hostel.

Another business trip, another hotel in Munich ... indeed I can start like this, however it is more to it than this, much more, so here are my thoughts on this place: location - near the Olympic ”village” in Munich and very close to the BMW museum and factory , not central at all, so is not the best area for those who want to be closer to downtown. For me it was has been no issue, either ways I was having business at the Messe , so 35-55 minutes of taxi ride each day (pending on the traffic). service - the front desk staff was really fast - in spite the crowd - , timing for check in check out was negligible. Very good work ... arranging a cab every morning on time for dozen of guests was also very efficient and nothing to complain about. room - comfortable, excellent bed , had a very good sleep in even with windows facing a very busy street, sound proofing was very good. Cleanliness was also very good - the empty minibar was a bit odd, but understandable. Bathroom had a very good size shower - and all the needed items were available.(the booths door did not close all the way, but if you were careful a bit it was manageable not to flood everything). breakfast - a REAL highlight, to be honest it's been a while since I see this good quality breakfast at a hotel, great variety of cold cuts, smoked fish, greens, eggs done on the spot by a cook the way you've wanted those done ... excellent!! prices - pocket friendly and overall an excellent price to quality ratio. To sum it all up - a very good hotel , some minor things here and there but overall an above expectation stay. I would recommend and defiantly a rebook option for me when I have business in Munich!

The location is perfect..in front of hotel is shuttle bus 190/191 that can bring u from n to munich ost n near to marientplatz, the breakfast is AWESOME. We really love it, i n my husband n boy love it. The room is clean and has kettle for hot water. Eveything is perfect and if we come back to munich, we will booking this hotel again Thank you holiday inn express 🫰🫰my boy has given this chocolate santa by hotel staff

Everything was excellent. Few steps from S-bahn and U-bahn stations, 1 minute :) 4 stops to Marienplatz (city centre) with u-bahn. 4 stops to central train station with s-bahn. Only 15 minutes. Breakfast was excellent. You can find Mediterranean breakfast; olive, tomatoes, lettuce, fried eggs. There are many more alternatives. Because of its location and excellent breakfast, I would stay there if I go to Munich again. But there isn’t mini bar. I prefer cold water even if it’s snowing.

For self-driving travelers, this hotel is particularly cheap and affordable. The facilities are new, the rooms are large, and the price is good. It's about 20 minutes' drive from the center of Munich. The neighborhood is very quiet and sleeping is very comfortable. The only drawback is that the parking lot is a bit expensive.

The room is very narrow and was sold as double room. Due to fair, you could not book both days together on the website but had to do it separately. Unfortunately, it was blocked out of your room on the second day. We are just happy that it was not late at night where no one sat at the reception. That would have been yet. The room is so narrow that you couldn't pass each other on the second. If someone was in the bathroom or the door was standing up, you couldn't reach the door or the closet. You couldn't even hang out the usual paintings that you don't want to be disturbed. So is already an obstacle for couples. For two people there was a (!!!) bottle of water and also just one glass. The purpose behind it is not understandable to us. For a day as an interim stop is certainly sufficient, but not suitable for a longer holiday from our point of view. Rooms in themselves are clean and clean. Reception is over-required and no real help. When a rasier was forgotten at home, you referred to the net and another business. If it had actually been expected that a hotel would have provided a basic equipment for emergencies. We were at least used to this. Price/performance is certainly absolutely OK outside fair times. Parking is available in the garage and costs € 7.50, but we have parked in the side streets. There is something to run, but that didn't matter to us. We can't say anything about breakfast because we didn't take anything.
