Hotels near JR Atsuta Station, Nagoya

Great location. It's about 25 minutes from Legoland. 4 hours without traffic from Kanagawa, Sagamihara. Paid parking is available. That is my only gripe that they do not validate parking. Not even for Hilton Honor members. 1 night of parking was 3000 yen. Breakfast was delicious. Good variety of food.

I feel a little different when I think of a hotel. The room is spacious and I don't feel cramped even if I stay with my family. There is no parking lot, but there are many coin parking around. The coin parking under the hotel was 300 yen from 20:00 to 8:00 at night (as of January 2020), and there was a coin parking of 24 hours 600 yen about 2 minutes walk. It seems that there are some places that are a little cheaper if you leave a little. The room is cleaned at once, but it may not be beautiful. . . The sound of the train is also noisy. The trouble is that the hot water in the bath is wet. Although the hot water heater was outside the room and was not found, only the explanation was in the room. The explanation was that the hot water temperature could be set, but the key hot water heater was not found. . . The front desk is until 23 o'clock and will be unmanned after that. There is no phone to connect to the front desk in the room. Also, the hot water pot is provided in the room, but there is no tea leaves, so you need to prepare tea by yourself. There are microwave ovens, stoves, etc., but there are no cooking equipment, dishes, chopsticks. There is a washing machine, but there is no drying place, drying function. It is enough to sleep, but it may be a little subtle if the stay in the room is long, such as sightseeing, overnight. If you say you recommend it to people, I don't think I will.

I love the location right at the center of the bustling city of Nagoya. You can grab anything from last minute shopping to food and even a small supermarket at the 1st floor lobby. Connected to JR station and gate towermall below is Takashiimaya. I’ll definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit with my family.breakfast was really good. Lots of variety to choose from.

First night was a bad night for me as I could not sleep , the smell of smoking cigarettes was so bad I had to call the reception at 3am I needed a change of room the next day , I did ask the reception as soon as I arrived at the hotel when I find out I was put in a smoking room and ask if they can change non smoking room but they say their is no room to change, at first I thought I could handle the smell, but to my mistake when I got sleeping ,my lungs feel like unable to breathe , even the bed and duvet cover smell of cigarettes! After my call 3am to the reception and told them I could not sleep , then he say he can change me a room at 11am . After the room change I was ok !

I stayed for consecutive nights for sightseeing. It was a pretty old hotel and it seemed to be a hotel that had been in the past, but I stayed because the tourist spots of 々 were within walking distance of me. The hotel staff was very responsive, and the room was cleaned to some extent, so there was no big complaint, and I think that you can get enough satisfaction if you just stay overnight. The plan I stayed in was a plan that allows light breakfast and laundry for free. Laundry was quite useful. There are many restaurants, convenience stores and drugstores around the hotel, so I think you can spend it without any inconvenience. It faces a big road and drunken and water business people come and go in the downtown area, so I feel noisy even if I'm indoors at night. I was personally satisfied, so I would like to use it when I stay in Nagoya for a long time.

I stayed with my 13-year-old daughter. I see a hotel with free sleeping under 12 years old at 々, but it was very helpful because it was not free to sleep under 18 years old, and the room rate of the former 々 was also cheap. Around 8 mins walking distance to JR Nagoya and you can see the hotel building from the station if you walk out of Takashimaya Building. They have an underground pass from the train station and the nearest Hotel exit is via towards Lucine Tower L2 which only L2 has a lift up to the street while the rest of the exits are decked with stairs. Even if you lost your way to the hotel, you can always ask for the Post Office as they have a huge Post office nearby the station and passing by the Post office can lead you in the correct direction to the hotel. The impressive thing here is that they have an amenities bar at the lobby provided for room guests and they even have salt baths too! You can just grab your necessities any time you need. Not sure for 2 people but I find the room space is ok for single person, and very clean. Shampoo, shower gels, conditioner, hand soap and basic amenities like hangers and shoe polish are all provided. They also have cute magnet tags on your door to indicate for daily housekeepers. The room I've gotten is very clean and the walls are definitely not sound proof but decent enough to have your own peace and privacy. Facilities here may look old but I find it acceptable as they are very clean and well maintained. Only downside for tourists is that hotel staff here don't speak much English, and most of the room guests here are mostly Japanese business men, Japanese travelers to high school students and sometimes a few foreigners who can speak Japanese. Therefore, it is always helpful if you know some basic japanese or grab someone to stay along with who knows japanese will be good. Breakfast is in buffet style western and japanese, with soup, juice and coffee/tea. And everyday breakfast will be the same thing, but delicious and filling.

The hotel facilities are a bit old (for example WIFI is a little unstable and without password) and the price is higher than other local hotels such like AP... hotel (8000+ yen vs 5100 yen). I have changed hotel as I write this commit.

I got off at Komaki station and looked for MEITETSU Komaki Hotel in the map around the station in the premises, but there was no! I thought, I looked around and found an elevator. The hotel was right above. Less 々 years are in, but you can relax in a large room.
