3 of us stayed in an oceanfront Jr. Suite for a week and it was nothing short of spectacular. The room was clean, comfortable and had a view of the ocean. Every staff person we encountered were friendly and professional, from the front desk, waitresses, bartenders and housekeeping. A special shout out to the life guard, Ty! He raked the beach beautifully every morning and set people's chairs up exactly where he knew they wanted them each day, always with a smile. I will definitely return!

Well where do I start! We have just returned from 18 nights at the Charela Inn and we're already looking to book to go back. Holidays of course are a very personal experience, but if your looking for a peaceful and beautiful backdrop, there is nowhere better than the Charela Inn. Set in the most beautiful gardens and right on the 7 mile beach this is a chunk of heaven you don't want to miss. We went bed and breakfast as we wanted a break from the all inclusive experience. The breakfast is a great start to the day, the Jamaican breakfast especially, more than enough for anyone. We tried several eateries for dinner, Best of the West opposite with great local dishes, LTU West End, Coco La Palm and others, but Charela Inn restaurant topped them all for me. But what makes Charela Inn so special is it's staff, each and everyone of them contributed to our perfect stay. The guys who kept the beach pristine and set up our table and sunbeds, the bar staff, the gardener, the waiting staff, receptionist, porters, security, housekeeping, all were fantastic! I could go on and on. Thank you all, for everything, can't wait to come back.

Stayed at this beautiful and authentic hotel. Perfect location on the beach...We were upgraded to an Ocean View Deluxe room. The room was cozy, clean and comfortable...full of charm and decorated quite nicely. Waking up every morning to that view was priceless! The beach front is surrounded by perfectly situated palm trees that sat back a little in the sand. This provided excellent shade and privacy for lounging out in the sand. The staff was friendly and the food was great. We loved this hotel .... definitely looking forward to returning to Charela!

Restaurant was bad. Tried deep dish pizza and it was more like deep dish soup! When we grabbed a slice of pizza the entire contents sank about an inch. Mostly liquid?! But they did want to make sure I put a tip on the card?! Would not recommend , would not return.

Very good hotel on a 5 ⭐️ beach Beach staff excellent Breakfast fabulous,shoutout to Chris for excellent service,others need to step up ♂️ Housekeeping very good Thursday & Saturday dinner show not so great,food excellent let down by poor service ,entertainment ok seen better at the beach bars! Restaurant staff need take a leaf out of Coco La Palm for service, different gravy.Eaten there 3 times as superb bar and restaurant staff excellent Negril 7mile beach is fantastic however best restaurants located on west end a 20usd taxi away

There are many wonderful things about Charela Inn hotel, but one of the best is the fabulous massage therapist, Janet. She is an outstanding massage therapist and reflexologist, and will leave you feeling healthy, whole, and vibrant. I had four 60 minute massages in just seven days and they were better than any I’ve received in the United States. In addition to Janet, there are so many wonderful staff people at this hotel. We have stayed here many times and the staff does not turn over so you make trusted friends. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and the grounds are stunning. The food is delightful and enjoyed while gazing at the ocean and listening two nights a week to lively jazz. The location and the amount of white sand beach under gorgeous palm trees makes Charela Inn an absolute must for your next vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at the Charela Inn. The room was very nice. We were upgraded to a suite and that was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well every night. We had a view of the beach. The food was excellent and the wait staff was very attentive.

We stayed here as a family Feb 25 to March 3 and had a fantastic time. The location, beach, cleanliness, food and staff were all excellent. This was our 3rd trip to Negril and 3rd different hotel. We’ve revisited other destinations in Mexico as well and we’ve always tried different hotels, never having stayed in the same hotel more than once. We would definitely stay at the Charela Inn again. We walked the beach a lot and, in our opinion, Charela easily has the best beach front from what we saw. It’s wider than most other hotels and there’s lots of trees for shade. The beach staff do an excellent job grooming and getting people chairs. We didn’t do the AI option but ate and got drinks at the restaurant a few times. Food and drink quality and service were excellent. Charela Inn exceeded our expectations and we hope to stay here again.
