This hotel was everything to me i love staying there i will go back

Came here for the NAFSA conference. I thought it was a great stay. Great price especially with 10,000 attendees in town I definitely paid less than other hotels. While the hotel is a bit "older", all the amenities made up for it especially the customer service. I came in at 7am on Memorial Day and wasn't expecting to check-in. My exec room was ready! Super quick, friendly check in and of course best of all I could take a quick power nap before getting up to "work" and attend a few meetings. As the hotel is a bit "older" the rooms are big but not lacking. Fast wifi, pretty soundproofed for Poydras St, comfy bed, linens, desk, good a/c lots of sockets, lounge chair, fridge, microwave, nice bath products- it had everything I needed. Only drawback was that the doors are heavy and definitely can hear them shut with the neighbors (I had an end room). Breakfast was plentiful (typical free breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage patty, fruit, oatmeal, pancakes, granola, etc. I do wish they would have changed it up the days I was there but then again it was free. The star of the meals was the kick back- I only attended a few nights but free appetizers that can start your night off (even serve as dinner!) such as salad, hot dogs, self made tacos, chips, popcorn, etc. It's no Michelin meal but can start off your night on good note. And with included alcohol?!!!! Can't beat that! Nice, safe neighborhood, walked back from the convention center (15 minute) and from the French quarter (12 minutes) several nights with no problems. I didn't use the trolleys that are nearby but they are convenient. Grocery store and CVS a 5 minute walk away. Didn't use the pool but looked fine, didn't use the gym (couldn't get myself up early enough before meetings haha) but seemed adequate enough for my own workouts. Customer service was excellent, from the reception (thanks for the early check in and late check out) to the chamber maids, and all the hard working breakfast and kick back staff. Everyone was so friendly. Thumbs up on the Drury New Orleans! I will definitely be back and can highly recommend!

The room was very clean and had 12ft ceilings. What hotel will get you that!!. The king size room was also spacious. The TV should have been bigger for the room though! But it deserves 5 stars

Everything the best hotel experience

Very clean, friendly, and accommodating hotel.

The amenities offered were great e.g. pool, breakfast and kickback. Jeanie? at the front desk and Lindsay? at the bar were particularly welcoming and helpful. The mattress in 909 closest to the window was awful though.
