Everything was fine except the fact the toilet (something in the bathroom) beeped loudly all night. I made a video of the sound in the room. I told them about it and they instead of moving me they said someone who be up from maintenance the next day. I checked out the next day. No compensation on the room.

Large clean rooms on exceptionally quiet and attractive street in midtown lined with flower stores. Huge elevator made it easy to bring my bike up to my room and store it there. Front desk crew are tops.

The staff was extremely courteous and serviceable. We had to wait for our rooms, but that was not too inconvenient. The only problems were very minor: construction outside, telephone from which I could not call the front desk and toiletries which I could not get out of their bottles ... and I had not brought my own conditioner! But a good experience. I asked to be given a quiet room in the back and the staff immediately changed the one they had assigned to me.

This hotel is AMAZING! You cannot beat the location: I walked to Central Park, Times Square, Chelsea Market and to Greenwich Village. I had a problem with my room and the GM, Anthony Damiano, went out of his way to check in with me via cell call the next day to make sure it was taken care of. He went above and beyond to make my stay FIVE STARS. The staff was helpful. Rooms are a good size (felt a little bigger than the typical NYC size). Comfy bed. Simple, but abundant breakfast (included with room price). Safe neighborhood. Close to the subway. I will stay here again when I come to NYC. I look forward to the rooftop bar. Thank you Hotel Hayden.

The staff was welcoming. The room was clean. AC was not working, we opened the windows. Bathroom was OK but the shower was not built properly so water was getting all over the bathroom whenever we showered. The bed was broken and not extremely comfortable.
